Experiencing a catastrophic event is bad enough in itself but after the initial shock wears off you need to deal with reality - dealing with filing the claim. I valiantly tried to do all of it myself including uploading receipts, invoices, photos and forms. It proved to be too much for me. Then, I asked my local office for help. From that point on a huge burden was lifted from my shoulders. I would like to specifically mention Erin Baum from the Madison office. She personally helped me through my computer inadequacies without making me feel mentally deficient or like I was imposing. My local StateFarm agents were there for me and I am truly thankful and grateful!

While I cant comment on the process of filing claims at this time, I can say that my experience purchasing a new policy was wonderful. Unfortunately Ive had nothing but negative experiences with Megs office since taking over for Clyde.First was a rude introduction by an office employee over the phone that would not accept that I was unavailable to meet to review policies due to a busy schedule for the month. Paired with the fact I was moving and would rather meet with the new agent anyways.The next was when I requested to be transferred to the local state farm agent to where I was relocating. I explained why I was requesting to the office employee over the phone. They understood and said theyd process the request. However, a few days later I recieved a voicemail from the office wanting to know why I requested the transfer. I merely didnt bother to call back because the request was made already and explained.Now today I stopped into what should have already been my new agents office to find out a month later they did not do what I asked. A simple request was ignored and not accepted. I get you want to keep clients, but the fact that you refused a reasonable request from a customer is unexcusable.
