I rented from 50twenty Apartments and loved our space. Maintenance requests were a bit slow but the people were nice technicians. Once the pandemic hit and management changed. All hell broke loose.My husband was a frontline worker and I was not (though my job and health was impacted). They offered a new lease and we accepted. Then the management rejected the acceptance a month or so before our lease ended. Leaving us to scramble for housing with three kids.When asking the office for a final walk through they played it off through email as if they couldn’t change the time as we were moving out. Thirdly, when I received my final ledger it turns out I never received my first month free per the concession.I called Melissa to review the ledger. She saw the discrepancy and said she would call me back the next day to sort through the ledger. I waited (because I did my part in trying to rectify the balance owed) and ended up being sent to collections without a callback. I still have the ledger and have this collection on my credit prohibiting me from buying a home.Corporate never rectified anything! They care about moving front line workers in to pay higher rents and non-frontliners to figure it out with homelessness on the rise with barely any jobs in that area.They do not have a moral compass and I don’t recommend anyone to stay here. Especially with the delta variant on the rise. Buy a home instead! Do not rent in Madison. There are no genuine subsidies in that area for renters when the world shuts down.

I have lived here for over a year now and I absolutely love it! It is so close to the east side of madison and sun prairie that it only takes like 5 minutes to get to each. The complex is very well kept and clean! The pool is heated and so nice! The workout area is nice a clean as well! They have heated garages, a very nice clubhouse room, and the buildings are kept super nice and clean. The maintenance people are so nice and are very quick to getting to peoples problems they may be having. The leasing office staff are so nice and helpful they truly dont get the recognition they deserve. I would definitely recommend living here!

Most of the management at 50Twenty is amazing, I’ve lived here for an year and the people here starting with James, Roxanne, Mike who were the first staff I met were super nice, made the move in and paper work process super easy.I’d also like to specially thank Melissa Rakestraw for being very responsive and professional for any concerns I’ve raised!The people that live around here are pretty good. The community is diverse and you get to see people from all walks of life and I’ve got to make some great friends here!

Apartments are nice and modern! Everyone in the office helped our leasing process be smooth and enjoyable. High security and friendly neighbors. Definitely would recommend this place.

As I couldnt give 0 star giving 1 star. Leasing terms are worst when you are vacating or moving to a other apartment in same community.My suggestion is to stay away from this community if you have other options. Ofcourse leasing office people are not friendly in adjusting the terms eventhough if you are planning to pay the full month rent.

We lived at 50twenty for 4 years. Honestly the first two were really good and we enjoyed it. I’m not sure what changed around year three but things started getting worse. The parking situation outside was a nightmare, residents did not take care of the amenities when they used them (grills, gym, trash), and there were unattended children running through the streets and destroying the property. Lots of threatening emails were sent but there was never any follow up. And our last year was probably just that much worse because of 9 months of COVID/quarantine. One of the biggest issues was with the mail - before covid they had packages delivered to the office. Often we never got emails that they were there. Now even after we moved out (our apartment is a model), some of our mail is still being delivered there (even with being forwarded at the post office), and they are not forwarding our mail to us. I have a couple items that were delivered incorrectly the first two weeks when we moved out, with tracking and they still say they do not have them. Unfortunately, this place is extremely unreliable- probably due to the huge amount of turnover the last couple years. Would not recommend.

Place is pretty decent, parking is a joke, I have no idea why rent still high even when facilities are limited due to cov-19 , they need upgrade parking stalls, highly recommend a different place that provides 2 car garage, to make it worthwhile or you will have a massive headache.

I wanted to pop on here and brag about how much I love the 50Twenty Apartments. My fiance and I have lived at 50Twenty for the past few months. We have had an AWESOME experience so far! The office staff are always helpful, our neighbors are friendly, and we truly feel like we live in a community. We have lived in two different apartment complexes prior to living at 50Twenty. We are so relieved that we moved. I know for a fact that we will be resigning. I would recommend 50Twenty to anyone, especially if you have dogs! There are plenty of places to walk your pet with walking trails behind the complex neighborhood. It is so nice to live in an apartment complex that is so dog-friendly. At previous places we have lived, many residents were not too thrilled to be living in a dog-friendly apartment complex. They would choose to walk on the other side of the road so they would not have to walk past us. Let me just say that my dogs are the sweetest dogs on the planet. That has not been an issue at 50Twenty, and is probably our most positive experience yet. We have even made plans to have dog play dates with our neighbors down the hallway because our dogs get along so well. That is something that has never happened to us before. My dogs are so happy here, watching people walk by while laying on the gigantic balcony in our two bedroom apartment. The grounds are kept very clean. One day, we saw people on our management team walking around the grounds, picking up trash and dog waste when the Winter snow finally melted. That really impressed us. We have never seen people on our apartment management team do that before. Shoutout to James for keeping the grounds clean for us and our pets. We are so grateful to have such a great management team. James and Roxanne are amazing! We cant wait for Summer to check out the pool and fire pit. If you are contemplating on 50Twenty or another apartment complex, I would highly recommend 50Twenty. You will not be disappointed with the BRAND NEW management team!

I am a pretty direct person. I will tell it how it is. So I have to give 5 stars. The apartment we moved into was in excellent condition. It was clean, and in working order. Dogs are welcome. So are child. When we I asked to move to a different unit that was more accommodated for my daughter with Autism. The management moved us to a wonderful unit. They went above and beyond to please us. To make sure we were comfortable. That we were happy in our new place. They did not charge us anything extra. They also refunded my lease in full. There are always activities and parties at the club house. Management is easy to talk to. Treats the residence like people. I have lived in many apartments in my years. 50 Twenty has a community aspect that I never found anywhere else. My child and I love living here. James and Roxanne are awesome. If anything is wrong they do their best to correct it. I have nothing but good things to say about our time here.

Have lived here for almost a year now, and this is the first time an apartment has ever felt like a home. From when we first acquired about our apartment to today, everyone in the office has been amazing. If you enjoy a quite but community feel, I definitely recommend this place. The best part about 50Twenty is that the apartments are pet friendly. They have pet washing stations in every building and have dog stations outside that get cleaned daily, to ensure a clean environment. Great location on the east side of Madison, and if your looking for a modern apartment with great amenities, this is the one.

I had a great experience living at 50twenty. It’s quiet, and the apartments and amenities are quality. The management team is excellent. They are friendly, responsive, and really care about making 50twenty feel like home. There are also fun community events every month.

I’ve lived for a year and I regret resigning my lease. Just knowing I could’ve lived somewhere where I would have access to our amenities even during a pandemic. I find it ridiculous that they’ve limited Im talking 1.5 hours to pool time a day!! We pay a lot for rent to be able to use our amenities. And it’s 4th of July weekend... they’re closed 7/3-7/7 that’s 4 days without our pool. Other apartments own by Fred-Inc are open and allowing their tenants use their amenities with no restrictions!

I have lived here for over a year I love this place what other management team throws parties to get the residence together? Here at 5020 they do that. We are having another get together in a few days. Summer time we have cook outs for an apartment complex in the summer time. We have Badger and yes the Packers if you like them lol. On a serious note I have lived in many places and apartments these are as close to owing your own home as you can get. I know that not everyone is always positive but the team here is always willing to help in anyway they can. My wife and I have talked about the future the only thing we would like to do is possibly move into a 3 bedroom. Keep it up

I loved this place, convenient location, beautiful apartments at a really fair price considering all the amenities. I had to leave when I moved out of Madison, and I really miss my apartment at 50Twenty. Would definitely recommend

Move out of this place within a year. Very disappointed with the management and their rules. Great area to live. Very unhelpful staff. Very rude at times. No smoking on private balconies. At the end of the lease, by default, you will be charged $300 for stove glass top replacement (Nowhere they mentioned and also found out they did this for several outgoing residents). Also, be prepare to pay $40-$50 apart from your monthly rent for water and sewer charges. Check out other properties in this area has some flexible lease terms (3,6 & 9 months). Sometimes, you might get job transfer addendum or house buying addendum from other properties in this area. Good luck folks

I have lived at 50Twenty since it was built. Every time I have a question or request, it is answered the same day. The staff is very friendly. Ive never had any issues with my apartment and I love all of the amenities. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone is so friendly! The best part is how pet friendly this place is, my dogs have made a ton of friends!

Two stars because they provide dog bag and recepticles. Everything else was pretty frustrating to deal with. Good luck getting your deposit back.

Most of the apartments are updated, but Beware!! They enter your apartment constantly for this and that. You pay pricey rent and have no privacyThe neighbors are always loud and kids all overNot very good construction, walls are thin so you hear everything.The dryer units take 3 cylcles just to dry a normal load of laundry. So not very cost efficient on top of expensive rent.

They just built the place (only 1/2 filled by 8/2/15) and its already CRAMPED FOR PARKING. Theres a nice plaza in the center of all the buildings that I can walk through while I park my car on the other end of the property.They put in the lease, a rule about banning smoking on private balconies, but made sure to say that we could smoke inside (so we would lose the deposit...). Not impressed. Classic land-LORD.

Amazing customer service. Every issue I asked about was addressed and dealt with in a extremely prompt manor. Jessica in the office has been awesome! We spent a little over 2 months here in a furnished unit while we were in between homes and have enjoyed the pool very much.Extremely pet friendly apartments. Very delighted to find many doggy doo doo stations available as you walk your pet. Highly recommend50Twenty!

It takes weeks for maintenance problems to get fixed.

Charged a lot of money after move out due to the coffee spill! Frustrating experience with this poor management. DO NOT MOVE IN

Its quite and close to the interstate so I can go anywhere I need to go around Madison!
