I renewed and for some reason my old contact didnt end and I was getting calls to renew. Even though I already renewed. They just couldnt tell because it was screwed up. So they billed me for dual papers without telling me. I spoke to the customer service a few times about this and was assured that everything was fine with my account. Then one day in the mail I get a collections notice for $43 because of that stupid billing screwup. I spoke to numerous reps before this and not 1 mention of a balance and not even a notice. The Telegraph was once a great newspaper and I wouldn’t miss an issue, but now it’s lost its way. The Sunday Edition was almost too heavy to carry , but now you can fold it up and put it in your pocket.
Whatever you do, DO NOT SUBSCRIBE to the Macon Telegraph! I did last year and they didnt deliver the paper until I called and complained about it. Then they charged me double I called and cancelled got my money back then they kept calling me to subscribe so I finally did and before the week was done they charged me 7 times tried for a 8th time had to go to the bank cancelled my card. I called the telegraph and they wont give me any money back. On top of everything else they sent me to collection for the last time I had it for one month with inflated charges. Not worth the trouble!!!!
I went to Sams Club today Sunday 30th of June 2019 and inside is a man representing The Telegraph selling subscriptions and taking donations. I gave my donation and he handed us a Sunday newspaper. You would think the paper would of been todays news, not last weeks newspaper. He conveniently covered the date with a advertisement for a company out of Warner Robins. Thats pretty underhanded if you ask me...
One of the best newspapers in America, always high quality news articles. Management is spectacular and its run by a great president/publisher.
This rag would have to get a lot better to be 3rd rate.
Very poor customer service. Ordered subscription 3 weeks ago and have not received a single newspaper delivery . 4 calls and no help, just excuses.

We have not gotten our paper for four weeks. We are told the manager was notified each time .If so why no improvement of service. In addition I have used the web site and it will not accept my phone no or email address even though they send me emails .
The delivery person in my area continues to have loud music when delivering the paper,, 4 am in the morning!!!!!! I’ve made several complaints to The Macon Telegraph, the problem has not been resolved!!!!!!
