I was a little hesitant at first because I was investing a lot of money and putting all my faith in someone else’s hands but I can say without doubt, if I had to do it all over again I would and I wouldn’t want anyone else doing the transplant but Dr Gray. After years of chronic illness and accidents, my hair was part of me I consistently found attractive. It always shed a lot, but it was consistently dense. In 2020 I was put on multiple medications that all can trigger hair loss and ignored by my gp when I said I thought I was losing hair. Dr Gray and Sarah were a godsend. I’d stopped the medicines that caused the loss, but my hair was still thin instead of the thick abundance it had been less than a year beforehand. Dr Gray determined that CTE had triggered FPHL. I went on supplements to help shedding, Viviscal, oral monoxidil (with my sensitive skin, I didn’t think I could tolerate the alcohol in the topical versions), and went through exosome therapy and microneedling. Four and a half months later, I came from my hair dresser who kept commenting on how much denser it was and how much new growth I have. I still hope for more on the crown—apparently the slowest area to regrow hair—and my temples, but my part is so much better. It may not be as dense as it once was—I still shed a bit too much, some of the hairs shorter than they ever were—but the difference is amazing and has done so much for my confidence already. I am confident it will continue to improve at least a bit more.
