Got there 2 hours early, 4 pm for 6pm appt, guard sent me across the street to park roadside. He said receiving comes in at 7pm, no rhyme or reason as to when you are taken. I was given a door at 3am, which they started loading at 6am. Thats 12 hours and theyre just getting started. Got out of there at 9am. Seem understaffed and building too small. Trucks waiting outside all night, seemed to work 2 or 3 per hour. Never going back.

CANCEL YOUR LOAD! After reading all the negative reviews about this place I decided to take my load here anyways sometimes we tend to exaggerate plus the load paid allright. NAH FAM... Checked in at 8 PM for a 9 PM delivery appointment... was told to wait out in the street for them to call me to go in to a dock. 12 AM no call... I ask the security at the gate and was told there are 14 trucks ahead of me. Fine... I take a nap and wake up around 5 AM and check back... was told theyre still waiting to call me for a door... Call the broker who didnt help much and called receiving to no avail. Checked back at 9 AM with a different guard who had taken over only to be told that me, along with 9 other trucks are going to be pushed to get unloaded till after 5 PM. This is after more than 10 hrs of waiting here in the street for their call and its already the next day.If you book a load and see that this is your delivery destination cancel that ASAP. The reviews are not exaggerated. The people here are not rude but they will not respect your time. Unless you live here in Lubbock or are willing to waste 2 days out of your work week DO NOT come here. Dont take my word for it read the reviews below theyre quite recent too.

My appointment was supposed to be for 1900, I arrived 2hrs early only to find out they had moved my appointment to 2200! I finally got a call for a door at 12:30! It is now 05:15 and I am STILL being unloaded, this Mclanes is by far the worst I have been to in the Country!! The management of this place is a joke! The employees don’t have any sense of urgency or respect for drivers time At All, the lack of management is overwhelming!!I have discovered through reading other reviews that this is nothing new There are similar reviews going back at least two years!! My appt was at 1900, arrived early and parked on rd side and checked with guard shack at 1730 and was told to wait for the call, which took forever till 2230 assigned a dock and went straight to back in, now its the unloading time and I was sitting praying that they will finish the unloading on convenience time, I sat till I felt off to sleep, upto 0630am when someone knocked at the cab with the paperwork handy and trying to apologize for the delay. People who work here are so wicked & envying to jeopardize truck drivers precise time. The condition here is not good from my point of view how drivers are treated.

Worst McLane location. Blonde guard woman is extremely rude for no reason to drivers. Obviously completing her job is too much for her. Wow, they need better quality employees. It is a shame drivers make it to their appointments on time but McLane cant be professional nor unload in a timely manner.

This place has no idea what it means to do things in a timely manner. 4.5 hrs in the door, lumper paid over an hr ago, and they still arent done. I have been here all day, and I still cant leave. They need to get trucks out faster than this. Our time is just as valuable as theirs.

Every bad review in here is true!!! Had appointment yesterday 06/16/2021@19:00, check in at 18:30 got a door right away not to mention this door had a trailer docked, they started unloading by midnight, they send me the lumper fee by 05:00, it’s almost 07:00 and still waiting for bills… If you are coming to deliver bring dinner and plan to spend your 10 hr break while unloading!!!

Depending on what you delivering and how busy they are it can be average or long time to unload. The biggest downside to this place is parking very limited.

As a Driver, this facility is the epitome of Hurry Up And Wait... be prepared to do a 10 hour break in the dock!

Unprofessional people I have appointment 7pm check in 6 pm it’s 11 pm don’t get any door yet talk to security guard keep telling me you’re next but we do not have any door available yet and it’s dry load only 6 pallets. Try to Avoid this place

When I go there, I bring multiple Po ld so they take a long time to unld. 13hrs last time I just go to bed. Really nice people there tho.

Yet another very disappointing review for this place I havent found one Nationwide that deserves a one-star rating they do not honor their delivery schedules. Look at the aerial view of this place on Google maps... All that land/acreage and they have trucks lined up all around the block, down the street, under the overpass..Stupid!!! How many trucks come and go on a daily basis? And how many truck parking spaces did they design? WOW.... Its not like this place was built in an overcrowded city... Theres HUNDREDS of acres all around. Shows the intelligence and foresight of the engineers... GENIUS guys, way to go!!!! (Until the locals decide they dont like trucks parked all over the streets) All of the people I dealt with were nice.

Almost 3 hours after my appointment time which was 2200 they get into a door and then going on almost 3 hours later they have yet to call me and tell me they are done. It’s a good thing nobody has to be some where

They do not even deserve 1 star. The white security guy didn’t even know how to talk to other people, he is working with Allied security company they need to train their security guards. Worst experience I have ever had, I checked in at 4:00 pm 11/29/2020 one day before the appointment day (appt. time and date 10:00 pm - 11/30/2020) and right now the time is 12:30 am - 12/01/2020 and still they told me to wait in the truck for their call. Got their call at 3:30 am and check out at 8:00 am - 12/01/2020.I suggest everyone, IGNORE this place.

Came early without appointment. Had to wait till 8pm to get worked in. What can I say other than thank you? The guards are really nice.Pro tipYou can check in earlier than appointment time and if they are not too busy they can get you on a door at least. Works out better than everyone rushing the guard shack all at once. (This is a food service warehouse after all.) 🙂Thursdays are generally busier due to their Sunday through Thursday work schedule. Expect to park outside on a dirt lot. Only holds about 10 semis. Then check in at the guard shack.

Another horrible place to delivery appt was at 7 pm ck in at 6:30 pm they don’t let me in til 8:05 pm and is 1:19 am and still here it is frustrating it is no respect for companies to drivers it is abuse to drivers

One of the worst places appt time is not granted and it took them 8 hours to unload bring a bag lunch you will sit there for awhile

Worst place ever. I have delivered at this location twice and both times Ive had to wait more then 10 hours to get unloaded. But today seriously more then 12 hours and avoiding me. Is stupidly ridiculous.

Really nice people. If you are a driver you need to park on the street in the gravel area dont worry when you get there its pretty self-explanatory. Walk up to the guard shack to check in. Once inside the gate lot of room to move around

I have only had one good time there , and have been there several times . Take to long to unload.

They unloaded me within less than two hours on frozen brake down live load. So far, theyre the fastest McLane DC lumpers.

Find a parking, then walk to the guard Shack to check in. and then will call you for a door then you drive your truck to guard Shack... lumper Capstone..... and yes they do take their time to unload... no overnight parking more like there is no room....

Parking on side of road in deep holes and mud. Spent more than 5 hours at dock and still paid close to 200. For pumper fee! Not right!

My appointment at 2100 gotin dock 12:30am on next day with only 2 pallets . Doesn’t make any sense , give them f on service . If you come here package you lunch and dinner . I will not take another load to this location if they pay me top . Time is my money 💰 .

As a truck driver. I truely dont believe their recievers know what there doing. I got there at 8pm and they got my papers back to me at 5 am. Then the next day i get a call from the broker saying I have to turn around because they left some of their freight on my truck. (Was a 2 drop load). In which put my next drop late, upset the second drop recievers and they pushed my drop day out 2 days

Cant give a zero or I would. They had a load just had to hurry up and get there, got there and in a dock at 2:30p.m. got out at 10:30p.m. 8hrs. Later and $104 for 7 pallets, finally out of there.

Lumper service $129 for unloading 18 cartons 82 lbs, and thats a robbery.and they took 4 hrs to unload 18 cs When it comes to the security people, very friendly.

The necessity for drivers to park on 19th creates a safety/traffic hazard. It is really difficult to see oncoming traffic if you are exiting the northbound loop onto East 19th here.

Was there 12 hours, the guard at check in did put that I had more stop after he asked ,an I told him yes, ,the stop have red alerts on pallets inside shrink wrap there was no reason for them to get confused like they claim, the pallets were put back with space between them an had I not know about that ,they would have fell over

8 hours and $99 to unload 6 pallets. If you come here I wish you luck!! I won’t be back!! All the McLanes are terrible with no regard for the driver.

I have always had good luck here. The staff is friendly from security to receiving. No complaints really.

The majority cant be wrong. This place has no respect for the drivers.Arrived 3 hours early (appt was at 2200) was checked in by a friendly security guard, waited outside for.about a half hour, checked into the door, had dinner (made in the truck), and watched tv. About 2 hours later, unloading commenced. Its now 4 hours later and still being unloaded.Went and used the restroom and saw a bunch of guys hanging around the desk chit chatting. Was told earlier that it would be a 4 to 6 hour wait....that is SO true.Was also informed by the guard that since mclane opened a new DC in Ft Worth this place has lost business. It doesnt surprise me. If they didnt have to, no one would deliver or pick up here because of the aforementioned reasons.Sure, the employees love it here because they can work at a snails pace and get paid handsomely for it. I guess were in the wrong business when here you can work slowly and get paid $354 per load/truck AND get a salary!

Sometimes I feel really frustrated with this job when I come to pickup or delivery to places like this Mclane, my appointment was to 10 pm , I checked in 4 pm, door assigned 9 pm, right now is 4 am and they do not have completed the unloading because they say does not have enough spaces, really bad , I lost my next load at 6 am in Amarillo TX, one star for parking and guard men friendly.. If it’s possible AVOID Mclane .

No public restroom , but when you are in the buiding ask for it.bad for parking ouside.lumper fee.. but if you are a team you can unload by your self faster with no lumper fee.ask for pallet jack.

Check in process is decent. All you need is the bills, your license, and phone number.But it sucks that you have to find a place to park on the street then walk up to guard shack. The guard shack is on E 19th St. There are huge pot holes in the dirt where most people park before walking up.They call you when a door is ready so I will update this review once I see how long it takes to get a door and get unloaded. Checked in 30 mins early before my 22:00 appointment.

Were pretty quick to get unloaded people were nice

Its a large place so backing up is no problem. Over night parking across from the guard shack, no bathrooms or restaurants nearby so pack a lunch.If you show before 9:30pm when the crew begins all theyre gonna do is turn you around and have you wait across the street till they call you on the phone when your door is available. They only unload at nights.If you park and walk to the guard shack with your drivers license and paperwork you wont have the hassle of finding parking and turning around to face the right direction.A lumper is used and the starting fee for me, a dry van was $140.Have your temperature correct reefers because I seen them reject a drivers load because he was off by a couple degrees, ouch!They were nice and I didnt have any problems.I hope this helps and drive safe.

Spacious, easy to back in to any door. As long as youre on time for your delivery you should be out fairly quickly. I delivered on 11/22/16 @ 22:00 (10:00pm) and was out by 00:00 (midnight).

Never going to this f...king place it’s been 3 hour it’s not down for 12 pallets.

Do not take any load from these company they are incompetent and unprofessional. Took a load get there late because where the load came from they took a long time loading but they knew I won’t be able to make it on time. They told me I need to wait until 10:00 pm that night and I was there at 5:00 am. Then they told me to go in because I went to security and ask , if I don’t ask nobody will call. Keep me in until almost 11:00 to tell me it was not there that the drop was at another near building, got there at 11:15 to find out there’s nobody there... and could not go back because they only received from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. You be the judge of that... so got to stay here another day say they will unload at 8:00am let see...

This place is the worst. I had an appointment for Wednesday January 9 at 9pm my truck broke down and got it fix on Thursday day arrive at the place around 10pm Thursday night and they say they can take it because Im late. And have to reschedule for Sunday at 9pm which they did. Arrive again at 6pm get a dock at 735pm and I didnt get finish till 2:34pm. I hope I never go back to that place again.

I give 1star only because there isnt a zero option. I arrived early for my unload appointment only to have to sit 5hours and counting. Totally unprofessional staffing. In the words of the receiving clerk I dont care!!!!! And to top it off no restrooms available for drivers. Should be illegal!!!!!

I went out of my way to deliver a plant for a funeral my mistake,was giving them credit which i dont do,but made an exception for them! Still havent gotten pd to this date! Never ever will i do buisness with them! And to the rude ass girl they have working there the money isnt coming out of your pocket!! Im so pissed as how they handle there buisness!!!

This is a typical McLane facility. The employees hate their jobs, hate life, and hate the drivers who their very jobs depend on. If you are delivering here, dont drive up to the security gate. Park on the street with all the other trucks, walk up to the security gate with your bills and CDL, and prepare for a long time getting unloaded. The lumpers are a waste of human flesh. If you are in a hurry, forget it... Youll be here for an unreasonable amount of time. If you are deciding whether to take a load coming here... Dont. It just isnt worth it at any price. I believe in customer service. Ive never been late in the 6 years Ive been driving... These people cant say that... And dont care!
