You must get in line literally 2 hours prior to your appointment cuz this line takes literally more than an hour to check in, there’s really good chances you miss your appointment just be getting in line. Unloading is decent 2-4hours. Guard takes 5-8 mins per truck to check you in. Parking on the street Good luck.

Ahhh, the wonderful Los Lunas Walmart DC. This is definitely the cream of the crop when it comes to WM DCs. Just an altogether fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

Typical Walmart facility between 3 and 5 hours to offload. They have some of the best Mexican food you can find near door 211. Im from the southwest its hands down some of the best Mexican food in the region. Thats the program being here during the day. I think theyre open till around 6:00 or 8:00 p.m. for food

Its not like this review will make a difference to management but a heads up to the drivers delivering produce. 5 stars for the the weekend clerk. They call you up to the window pretty much immediately. Also, when your paperwork is ready at the window, they call you right when its ready. During the week is a different story. Walk in to check in & theyll have you wait a while without saying anything & finally call you up. Also, they wont call you for about an hour or 2 until after your paperwork is ready at the window. One time I walked in to check on my paperwork because they were taking pretty long & I asked if my bills were ready. They were having a nice conversation while I waited & finally they called me up to the window. Sure enough my bills were just sitting there ready to go. Weekends & weekdays are 2 completely different experiences. ( Weekend clerks I deal with are between Saturday morning & Monday morning between 2am & 5am)

This is a pretty standard walmart. Check in at the guard shack on the way in. Go to your door do the Walmart procedure of unhooking trailer while getting unloaded. Took about 3 hours to unload of full trailer here.

If you come early call the number on the photo and ask if they can accept you before your appointment.There is a Mexican food trailer inside. Taco plate was good.

They will just eat your time. Took an hour to make it through the line to guard shack to check in. It takes them 5-7 minutes to check in one truck. After that it took 3 hours to get unloaded. I prefer not to come here again.

Fast unloading.Slow security check in, freight counting, and receiving paperwork process.It is a Walmart DC, so they can do what they want and how fast they want to do it.They have a food truck on premises and it was good.

Appt was for 1830. Showed up early because of all the reviews, but was the 3rd truck in line. Got through the gate in about ten minutes, people in guard shack were nice. My dock was available, so I backed in, slid tandems, dollied down, chocked and disconnected. I took my paperwork to the office, no issues. About 2 or so hours later I got a text I was unloaded. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about because it was a pretty typical walmart DC experience.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Hands down worst DC WalMart has. Guards are only bright spot. Ladies in CRO are rude. My appt. was at 17:20 and it was almost midnight before they finished.

Great, hard working people in this facility. From dairy, deli, meat, produce and all your dry goods the Wal-Mart D.C. supplies New Mexico, parts of Texas and Colorado. If youre looking for a job and an amazing pay rate be sure to apply. The job is tough, but there is plenty of room for growth, too.

Quick unloading no lumper fees great place no overnight parking

I like that Walmart are pretty much all the same and have plenty of space to maneuver, check in times are generally pretty quick and they allow you to take a 30 min break while there usually.

Nms are laid back and cool.. They try to be fast...but if they cant help it, its just another Walmart DC.

I have never experienced any unprofessionalism from any staff here. Every body just making money. Now I never expect to be in and out at a Walmart DC and the only reason I like coming to this place is the Taco truck. Food has been great everytime. Now if you’re here less than 4 hours consider yourself lucky. Stay safe people.

Make sure you dont get there till 1 minute of your appointment or hell tell you to go back out I was 20 minutes early made me go back out and sit in the road for 20 minutes

A place filled with hard working yet unqualified people. Expect mediocrity and delays, where the smartest employees are the replenishment drivers and operations are DUMB. Still, you dont really got other options if you are with Swift, and if you are an employee Id recommend GTFO.

This place is the worst Wal-Mart DC to deliver to. Average spending time just to check in at the guard shack was 45mins-60mins. Then waiting to unload us 5+, typical DC hours.

Security guards were awesome. However, after that point, it all went downhill. Walmart trailers sitting in doors that are assigned for appointments. Other doors empty. Management here are full on retards for not knowing how to manage their doors and trailers. I’m sitting here for hours AFTER MY APPOINTMENT TIME still waiting for a Walmart trailer to be moved from my assigned door. They won’t even give me a door that’s already empty.Edit—4 hours and counting. That dinky pallet is all I have to deliver for these retards. Because of their complete incompetence I missed the appointment for my next load.

They tell you in orientation that they care about their employees but once you get out there you find out that was a lie. The managers open door policy apparently requires a scheduled appointment. The rules are a mess and can be worked to fit their needs and not the employees. You get in trouble for nearly everything and get fired for even more. The management for some departments can hardly ever be found, usually hanging out with buddies in other departments. HR department loses paperwork or just doesn’t file it properly. These are just my experiences and I was only there for 2 months.

This facility is a regular stop for me and its always been a good experience. Security and admin staff are all good people and Im usually in and out within a couple of hours.

While i stand there to check in about 10 minutes they just sat there and had fun with each other instead of checking me in. I asked if someones going to help no body answered. They treat drivers like they are above us. You are nothinggwithiut the drovers u woulsnt have your 10 dollar for an hour job. I cant cpmpherend how this company allows such egotastical workers to work here. If they dont wanna work go home let someone else do the job no ones forcing you to work here lady.

Huge lot, make sure if ur dropping a trlr top it off full or at least up to 3/4. Or youll be like me got sent back to moms n pop.

All the way out in Los Lunas, NM. Lots of room to dock. Swift has a terminal here. Lots of truckers park in the median on the road in front of the gate. Small gas station down the road has diesel. Loves TS is about 10 min south of here.

Wal-Mart DC no issues and was unloaded in a reasonable amount of time.

I want to know why you set appointments and you get in there and you dont have a door to get into, 1 truck at a time, this is a same,all they do is burn up your clock and there is no where to park once that happens.

Why 5 stars you ask.... the let this little mexican food truck in the lot to sell hot food to the drivers. 1. That is such an awesome thing to do, its like driver appreciation week everyday.2. The food is phenomenal.They are pretty well organized and though you may have a bit of a wait during their busy time, everyone is freindly, professional and efficient.

Easy to get to. Kinda slow unloading took just over 4hrs.

Appointment was at 5:40pm. I checked in before five. I got a door within an hour. Didn’t get paperwork until after 11pm. Even after I got my paperwork my light was still red. Had to flag down a yarddog driver to see what’s going on. Still took a while for me to get a green light. They gave my door to another driver over an hour before I got out of it. Oh by the way I had another drop after so my reefer was running like crazy all those hours. There is some parking on the street.

Typical Wal-Mart DC. Arrive 1 hour early and bathroom is a hike upstairs. Called and gave me a door but waited 45 mins for them to get one of their trailers out first. Huge waste of time. After that it was quick unload time.

I was earlier for my appointment but they took me in, which is great...

It’s now the 4th day of not getting unloaded due to the DC being over capacity and the Covid outbreak. Apparently we can just rot out in the street and so can the food we have in our trailers. Walmart you could have been more proactive here. You failed miserably as a company. Zero communication has been made. It’s one of the busiest weeks for us and we just lost what would have been income to spend on Christmas at your stores. I’ll never spend another dime with your company as long as I live after being treated this way.

Arrive 2 hrs early. If line is all the way out to street, it will take 1 hr to get to gate from street. Good luck!

45 minutes to check in, No door available, walked to CTO, received a door assignment, got to the door and here I sit, and hour and 34 minutes and counting, and STILL have a green light! Hope all the ice cream and other products survive because its kind of hot outside...

Absolutely horrible! Waited in line for 3 hours and was turned away at the gate (yes - had an appointment time). Told me to “check back tomorrow “. They don’t deserve one star....They will also not record the proper time on the TCR report. Had to get a manager to post the correct time. Be aware!

Just like any other walmart DC. Check in , drive around to door # ,slide wheels to the back , disconnect from trailer, and then go inside to give them your paper work. They will txt u when your BOLS are ready inside. No overnight parking ,but you can park on los morros rd in the middle. 6 other trucks and i stayed parked from 11 pm-9am appt was at 3:30am on a Monday and noone bothered us, Or if u want a Walmart just around the corner that allows truck parking

Im really not a fan of any Walmart Distribution center. And this one is no except!!!! We were made to wait 24+ hours just because they refused to set our time up! Another reason Im seriously considering A Ban on Walmart....

Always takes forever. Plan on killing a 10hr break here. As for parking. They dont allow overnight parking, but you can park in the middle of the road on los morros until 8am mon-fri.

Update ,, parking on the street isn’t allowed , state police will knock on your door and do an inspection and kick you outHere’s the good news, they have a lunch truck here till 9:00 pm Mexican food , good for the time being,The bad news is that there’s a lunch truck here , you’ll be here a while , 2.5-5 hours

Worst Walmart DC. They don’t assign the door at guard shack, so only 10 doors for refrigerated loads, half of them taken by trailers, and the rest 20 trucks wondering around lot waiting for doors. Unloading as all DCs. Checking in is a night mare.. 15 ppl in line and she says don’t complain, I do what I can, and holds you longer.

WORST Walmart DC ....Came on time, waited my door for 1 hour and 40 min. They don’t know what is schedule mean. A lot of trucks and a lot of doors BUT only 20-25 unloading.... trucks standing and parking everywhere.... unloading time takes forever...Good luck everybody who have to come here.....

This is the worst walmart Distribution Ive ever been to, so disorganized, they gave me a door in the entrance like always and theres a trailer in my door, so I call to let them know about the trailer, and they said we are supose to wait to get called to a door, ok so am waiting from 2 am, I fall asleep till 5 am and nothing, then I walk in the office to let them know Ive been here since 2 am, they say I just gotta wait to get called to a door, well its 10 am already and still no call

Very slow unloading toke 7 hrs

I was amazed I only spent an hour their, getting 43 000 lbs of milk unloaded.

My experience wasn’t to bad, took almost an hour to get thru the gate, backed up to the road, about 5 -7 minutes per truck, guards were very cool, got to my door(208) did the drop procedure, unloaded quickly, had a 7 pm appt I was empty and out the gate by 8:45, oh and you GOTTA eat at the Rodriguez Mexican food truck on premises at the dock area, 9 bucks for a burrito and a drink, that thing was F’N Huge, couldn’t finish it, I will for lunch tomorrow!!!Stay Safe Drivers

I was there less than three hours which is good for a distribution center. Most of the others that I delivered to I am normally there at least three or more hours. Also there is no overnight parking and there is no where to park close by. I read a review that said there was and there isnt. You have to go to a truck stop or rest are for that. Also the ones in the area fill up quickly.

One of the worst places Ive been to deliver. Us truckers should start to refuse loads here , maybe theyll step it up! GET IT TOGETHER WALMART!!! We do our jobs as drivers Ill do your jobs and too!

Drivers, DO NOT COME HERE! They dont care about your time. I have been to some bad walmarts over the years but this one has got to be one of the worst. Took an hour just to get to the guard shack to check in. Then another 2 hours to get a door. Then another 4 hours to get unloaded and get my bills. If you value your time, then stay away.

It takes about 45 minutes to an hour just to get to the guard shack so you better budget your time for that sometimes they have a dock for you sometimes they wont and the off load time is torocious but why they got three stars as they do have a restaurant on site if you want to call it

Had a 1900 appointment time. Came here at 1825.line was backed up to the street , it is now 2100 and I am still not checked into the gate.I wonder how long they will take to unload.

Do not ever go to this specific Walmart DC. You will regret it. Dont ever wish to be sent here again. Staff is incompetent and rude. Just to get to the gate, it takes 30-45 minutes because the older male security guards are rude, worthless and slow. The female guard was nice.

Im a truck driver and most of the people are very nice and respectful to us. I appreciate them allowing me to stay overnight because I was out of time. Thank you for making us truck drivers feel comfortable when were far away from home.
