This is an honest review from MY perspective and experience.Beautiful studio, fast and prompt service, and the parking lot makes life easy. I went in for a Brazilian and underarm hair removal with Hana. The process was very fast, it took approximately 25 minutes for both. If this is your first time getting waxed, be aware that in coming here, you may not get the greatest results for your first time.Because she moves so quickly, I honestly feel there was not enough time taken to ensure the wax was set long enough for all the hairs to be pulled out properly, so the end result was pretty prickly. My boyfriend had also gotten waxed for the first time at a different studio, got a Brazilian as well and got perfectly smooth results. I called back to express concerns over my results, and lady on the phone said that your first time will not be perfect because of the 3 stages of hair growth, and by the third time I should get more perfect results. When I told her about my boyfriends results being nearly perfect after his first time, she didn’t have an explanation as to why his results were perfect and mine weren’t. Again my process took 25 minutes total in comparison to his which took an hour and a half.I understand there is a time crunch, and for some people it works beautifully, but for someone like me I would have liked for the process to have been done more carefully without rush. I was also pretty nervous with it being my first time, but I was rushed to hurry and get my clothes off which didn’t help. Again, I understand the policy with time, but I feel that it’s still important to make sure your customers feel completely comfortable and safe.It is still a great studio and seems to work for a lot of folks, and to be clear my results were not terrible at all, just be wary if this is your first time.

I don’t know why it took me so long to write this review, but if you need waxing services, this is where you need to be. I’m generally someone that sticks with my regular technicians/professionals when it comes to personal grooming/etc. but I was at a loss after my most recent waxing salon gravely disappointed me.Hannah is beyond professional, sweet, and ridiculously good at her profession!

I was blown away by my experience here! I just moved here from ATL and always had an iffy first time when trying someone new so I was a little nervous but Hana was SO amazing as soon as I walked in! The studio is very clean and COVID cautious and the wax was super easy and quick. I was also a little nervous because it’s been a few months since my last wax but Hana is a pro. She was so nice to chat with (a LOT better than just sitting in awkward silence like I’ve experienced quite a bit) but she’s a ray of sunshine. 15/5 stars if I could!

As soon as you walk in you just know this place cares. I was greeted and went through sanitizing my hands and getting my temperature checked. Getting waxed was a breeze, they really know what theyre doing! Will be returning.

As a straight male, doing my eyebrows was the last thing on my mind. Most males care for other things but seldom do they care for their eyebrows. I was honestly really shy and scared when I came here, but upon contact with the staff, I was more at ease. I was helped by the wonderful and kind Hana who assured me that this was going to be something simple, and I was relieved. The experience was therapeutic and soothing. Its rare that I ever perform any self care but a few minutes with Hana reminded me that its important to care for yourself, because when you do that, you care for others so much better. Their prices are reasonable and their hospitality is welcoming. I definitely see myself coming back on a monthly basis and telling my friends to come too!

HANA IS THE BEST! I am so grateful to have found her before she moved to her new location. She honors our appointment times, her studio is ALWAYS clean, and she makes sure to make the process as comfortable as possible. She is amazing- I cant stress it enough. Her positive attitude and detailed work has made her become my GO TO. I wouldnt recommend going elsewhere!

Excellent service, easy parking, clean and stylish studio. Hana uses high quality wax that doesnt leave your skin red and irritated. There is a strict policy for being on time and no-shows, which is understandable given that extra time is needed between clients for thorough sanitizing (esp in a pandemic). Plus, appointments book up quickly so honestly its just plain rude if youre taking up a slot that you then no-show for! Any one star review on here probably did not adhere to the policies which are clearly stated on the website during booking. If you want clean, professional service that uses high quality ingredients, come get your waxing done here.

Booked an appointment w Hana based on the positive reviews. Beware she does have a very strict policy. Came into my first appointment, I brought my 4 year old son. She turned me down due to COVID & marked the appointment as a “NO SHOW”. Ok, I understand your policy says “no kids, no extra people” when you’re first booking the appointment. No where In the confirmation or follow up email/text does it remind clients of her policy. I decided to take another shot of booking another appointment w her after I finally found someone to watch my son. I got a confirmation email & then about an hour later the appointment was cancelled due to & I quote “Hello, we are currently not accepting previous clients who were either No Show, Or unable to meet due to being Late, no Mask or bringing +1. Thank you“. I would have gave her 5 stars but that is just ridiculous. For someone that wants support for her small business but turning down clients for a mistake is blow mind. All I can say is I wish her business the best of luck.

This place located centrally in K-Town, so I was able to go grocery shopping while my wife is getting waxed. They take a lot of safety precautions during the pandemic, so I didn’t go in with my wife. My wife said she had a great experience, and as far as I can see, they did a really great job. Will definitely bring my wife back to this place again.

Since coming for the first time and being so pleasantly surprised, I have been here almost every month and a half and have always received the most professional, friendly and painless experience! I have always felt welcomed & accommodated to my every need. Hana is true ARTIST at what she does and will make any waxing experience quick and clean!! She runs the business almost entirely by herself, and her clients are often stacked back to back, so her tardiness and no-show policies are completely understandable. In fact, it ensures that the rest of her clients always get their appointments on time, which I greatly appreciate.As long as I live in LA, this will be my go-to place! If you are nervous about waxing, Hana will make you feel right at home. I almost want to keep her a secret gem in Koreatown because I want her all to myself!!!

I’m glad I found this place. Hana did a very good job. Super nice lady and I love her. I’m very satisfied with the service I got. Five stars is not even enough to rate this place. It’s super nice and clean. I definitely recommend this place.

I am appalled that this location is getting 1 star reviews. I can almost guarantee that they did not use Hana’s services & are upset because something didn’t go their way. I have been going to Hana for almost a year, if not a year already & she is the absolute most gentle, professional, & friendly person when it comes to your waxing services. I’ve trusted her since day 1, & I am upset that she is getting terrible reviews. She’s super cautious & even now with COVID, she’s taken the extra steps to ensure her clients are safe. Her studio is super clean, spotless, and welcoming. HIGHLY recommend her. She takes her time & makes you feel comfortable throughout the process. You do have to add a credit card prior to booking the appointment, & I personally have no problem with that. If you maintain your appointments, you’ll have no charges to worry about. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Hana & her services.

Come to Brazilian Wax Studio if you are looking for professional and affordable waxing services. They use high quality wax that doesn’t irritate your skin like some other salons. I have sensitive skin so I’m very particular about products and cleanliness. Check this place out and all your waxing concerns will be nonexistent! :)

Great service!! First time getting waxed so I was nervous at first, but Hana made it fun and easy going by asking questions as she was working. Been to Hana a couple of times. Love her new location, Parking is easily accessible and it’s free, Studio is uber clean, and Hana is always very professional. I always recommend this location to anyone in the LA area looking for a wax person. When I read bad reviews I always see what the person is complaining about. I notice a lot of beauty services have a late cancellation and booking fee, and I know if I’m running late to call to make sure the artist is able to still accommodate me especially if I know they have a busy schedule. So I advice people to make sure They check out a locations policies and make sure they are to their standards before choosing to book and trash talk a location if things don’t go their way.

Ive worked in Korea town for many years and during these years Ive tried different waxing places because I couldnt find anyone that I felt knew what they were doing; the process was always long and painful. I gave up looking for a place near by and had to drive very far for a wax until I found the Brazilian Wax Studio. I can say that Hana is the best, not only did she make me feel very comfortable, but the whole thing was in less than 15 mins and very VERY little pain--its waxing, you will still feel a little bit, but compared to other places, I think I can say Hana is a PRO, definitely knows what she is doing. I left there feeling like a brand new woman. I highly recommend Hana, she is truly the best! Thank you Hana

Are these people for real? People like this still do exist? Wow..cannot believe ! Discriminating people. I’m warning you guys. This place is a scam, first they take your card details to book an appointment and then if you are late for 30seconds they charge 50%.And if you show up a minute late they won’t take you in. charge the card. Because they charged they don’t need you anymore. So tada! Ripping off people left and right...

Overall the place was fine for a friend of mine and would go there again.
