Such a phenomenal place you might be inclined to keep it a secret or not write a review but I have to give love where love is deserved and this place is the greatest. Anyone saying that they are not knowledgeable here is downright crazy. Whatever you are looking for, Reese will have it, and any machine you need fixed he’ll take care of you. Not exactly cheap but shouldn’t be, a place like this needs our money to stay in business because typewriter enthusiasts are a dying breed.

I had my Hermes Standard 8 typewriter serviced here, and have only good things to say. Helmut Schulze is knowledgable, and meticulous about his work to say the least. I really appreciated his enthusiasm for typewriters, and not to mention a very wide selection for sale. He went above and beyond the call of duty on my Hermes both quickly, and for a fair price. I wish I could spend more time here.

This is the place for all of your typewriter needs! I recently purchased a typewriter and visited Helmut for some necessary accessories. Visiting his shop to view his incredible inventory of typewriters is worth the trip alone, but stay for some great conversation. Helmut has an incredible breadth of knowledge about all kinds of typewriters. I’ll certainly be back for any future maintenance and if I ever would like grow my collection!

BEST PLACE EVER!! I brought in an old, obscure toy that needed fixing and Joe looked at it and 5 mins. later it was completely fixed. Better than new. All other electronic stores would not even look at my toy to fix it.

Joe is a electronic magician. I brought a tube amp to him, and he magically found the bad parts, and had it working as new. He is very dependable, and fair in his pricing. I would recommend his service to anyone.

I dealt directly with Helmut. He solved the problem with my landline AT&T 974 phone in two minutes. He charged me $4.00 and I said that much! He reduced the price to $3.50. I happily gave him the $4.00. What a great experience!!! What a nice guy!!!I would certainly go back for all my electronic needs.

Rees Electronics fixed the two cassette decks on my 80s boombox. It was a struggle to find a shop around LA/SoCal to do the job, and Im so happy to find a place for all of my boombox repair needs. The art of repairing these relics is a skill that is becoming increasingly hard to find.

The employees are not very knowledgeable about what they sell, but the store is good.

The guy was rude and not very knowledgeable with electronics when I spoke to him.
