I feel very lucky to have found this tutoring agency. It was kind of a stroke of luck because we were going to start with someone else and it did not work out. Atelier was mentioned on a Yahoo group site and was the perfect fit for us. The owner, Silvana, has a tutor for everything and she will take the time to understand what you need and start right away to find the best tutor(s) for the student. I have been very impressed by the personal attention I receive, the prompt responses I get, and the well organized website that offers the option to log in and read the notes from each tutoring session. I started using Atelier Tutors many, many years ago, when my older child was in high school and struggling with Latin. I was so impressed by how professional and friendly Silvana was: she listened carefully to what I needed and came through with a great match. The tutor made all the difference in my son’s performance in his Latin class. I loved that Silvana was not pushy, she simply shared her thoughts and made suggestions. I also loved that Atelier Tutors is a service a la carte and one doesn’t need to buy a full packet and commit to a lot of sessions beforehand. The whole experience was flawless. I have recently contacted Silvana again for my younger child (my middle one never needed academic help). My child has been struggling with staying on top of his assignments during this e-learning time. For now, all their tutoring is remote, but the tutors are so friendly and experienced that it is working out well, despite my fears. We use a math and AP US History tutor as needed here and there, and Silvana herself started working with my child as an executive function coach. Assignments are now turned in, and my son feels so much better about school. I highly recommend this company: they know what they do, their prices are within the norm for an agency, the customer service is excellent, and the tutors are personally chosen and vetted by Silvana.

Silvana and the staff at Atelier Tutors have always been wonderful with us. We used their services for different subjects and at different times and we were always very happy about the entire experience. I was mostly impressed by their teacher’s true passion for knowledge and by their ability to transfer that to the student. More than a positive experience, the tutoring sessions were always a joy, as learning should be.

Silvana is so kind, professional, caring, and reliable, and came through for us totally last- minute, when we were in need of an excellent math tutor. I can honestly say that Atelier has been a lifesaver for us. Out tutor is not only the person who shows up and can make the class lessons easy to understand, shes become a fundamental in helping us plan and get through the minefield that every high school student that is headed to college has to tip-toe through. She can keep everyone calm, warn us about upcoming problems and shes also become a great friend to both our kids, listening to them and giving great feedback.

Our children have benefitted from excellent instruction and have been able to maintain extremely high performance in advanced math and science. Weve been using Atelier Tutors since my children started elementary school. The best way to describe how great they are, however, is our most recent interaction. One of my children was injured so that she was out of school for two months. We hired a wonderful Spanish tutor who came to our house twice weekly. He contacted her school and, through the generosity of the school teacher, was able to keep her caught up. When she returned to school last week, she was able to fit in with the class. Because of this great tutor, she will not lose a year of Spanish.

We used it for both our children in ISEE prep and were blown away by the professionalism, care and personalized attention we received. I have been using Atelier Tutors for my kids for over 5 years. We have used multiple tutors, sometimes for years and sometimes just for a couple of sessions. All of the tutors have been highly professional and communicative about scheduling. The owner and all of the employees have similarly been extremely accommodating and have even gotten us some tutoring within 24 hours. I highly recommend Atelier Tutors!

We have used Atelier for years and they have always come through - even on short notice. Silvana is incredible in her ability to match the tutor to my childs learning style. She always follows up to make sure everything was great - their service is fantastic and they hire the best tutors in LA. Atelier helped us prepare for the ISEE test (my kid did great, thanks to Atelier!) and weve worked with Math, Spanish, Latin, Science tutors as well as tutors who have helped with overall organization and study habits. I cant recommend them any more - theyre the absolute best.

Were going on year three with Atelier and couldnt be any happier. Weve loved every tutor weve had, for every subject, and find them professional, accommodating and highly-effective! From math through the ISEEs--theyre truly the best.

Completely Unprofessional service. They cancelled the interview on the last minute without even taking the interview. Entire 4 hours of prepping for the interview lesson is a waste. I seriously consider how such a company has survived for so long with such a company culture. I also feel lucky that I am not a part of such a company and organization with no values.

We have used Atelier for several years. Their tutors are friendly and knoweldgeable. They have been so very helpful for my three children. Atelier responds to my inquires of educational needs, or billing questions quickly and with a kind, friendly demeiner.

Silvana and the entire team at Atelier are unparalleled. Silvana listened closely to the needs of our child, and she matched us with the best tutor for test prep. Our childs score increased greatly after using Atelier. But more importantly, they gained confidence in the area of test-taking through methods employed by the tutor. Our tutor was attentive and caring, and the office responded immediately if we needed to reschedule an appointment. We have used Atelier via skype sessions as well as in-person meetings; and honestly the skype sessions were just as valuable because the tutor was completely prepared and on top of what needed to be accomplished for that session. I cannot recommend Atelier more highly. They are THE BEST boutique tutoring agency in Los Angeles. I must add that I have recommended over five other families to them, and they are absolutely satisfied and have continued to use them for regular academic tutoring (some going on three years!).
