This place is serious about delivering the message on African culture. We take all our students there no matter what ethnic background and they love the classes. Warm and welcoming and the creator and founder of Kwaanza is the Director and a Professor of Pan African studies.

I spent most of my young years at the African culture center when it was on Crenshaw 54 in the hood people don’t understand people don’t get it does around the timeThat was the only place I can go and learn about not just American black culture ancient African culture from Spain try the science consciousness they took care of me like a family respecting me like a family They gave me my new name when I was a little boy they had classes to teach me about yourba culture

Great people and a welcoming atmosphere! There is a news forum every Friday night at 7:30 PM and Soul Sessions on Sundays at 3pm.
