SHOUTING THIS PLACE OUT for HONESTY + INTEGRITY. I brought my car in yesterday with a compromised transmission and before doing any diagnostics or work, the owner told me to check my warranty first. Sure enough, my car was covered. This conversation saved me thousands of dollars. Thank you so much for not taking advantage of the situation - I will definitely be back for maintenance work in the future.

I’ve come here twice now - I come from a small town and had a family owned mechanic shop there we trusted and I was loyal to. I didn’t expect to find that again in LA, but have been surprised and very happy with the service, promptness, honesty and friendliness of Avo, George, Lucy and their staff. Highly recommend - you will be taken care of as if you were family.

The owner is really nice. I had low oil pressure and he fixed it for only $112 when the dealership told me it was going to be $700!!!! He also explained to me what had happened. Very awesome place!! 100% recommend!!

Needed a small fix done on my car. The door handle came off when I had my windshield replaced, but didnt notice until later because it was my rear passenger door. After the glass guy ghosted me I hit up Emerson at Lucys Auto Center. He is the man. A repair like this would usually be at least a hundred bucks considering its an older BMW and he did it for free. Only took him a few minutes, but was an awesome gesture. Definitely won my future business!

Lucy was extremely helpful! I just moved to LA and Im attempting to sell my car. I went it to have my Catalytic Converter, a possible exhaust leak, and a rattle looked at before I did a smog test. Not only did he fix the leak, show me exactly where the exhaust leak was coming from and how much it would cost to fix, but he did the entire inspection for FREE!!! On top of that he referred me to Clean Air Smog Check and I got a $10 discount!!!I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to Lucys Auto Center for any repair.

I brought my car here to replace the 4 upper control arms on my 2004 Audi A6 (total cost of the parts at AutoZone $89.95). I walked in with my husband and spoke with Lucy which estimated the total cost of the labor and parts around $360.00, after a quick check of the car from one of the mechanics on site.Unfortunately, we didnt ask for a written estimate since the lady looked honest, but we both clearly understood that the final price would have been around $360.00The day after both my husband and I go back there to pick up the car and, I couldnt believe it, she billed us for $630.00 without even giving us any notice before starting the work on the car. She also denied giving us an initial quote for $360.00Since we werent expecting to pay so much more than expected, we had to borrow some money from our relatives.If youre looking for honest people, avoid this place.

1. I’m in a rush, give me a one sentence summary – I’d go somewhere else to get work done on my car.2. Overview – I was hit on my driver’s side, the accident left the driver’s side of my car pretty damaged, and brought it to Lucy’s for repairs. They did an alright job overall. I never felt like my concerns were particularly important to them or anything, more just like a customer that they wanted to get in and out as fast as possible. That’s fine, but not the most acceptable if your repairs aren’t going to be quality. Some specific complaints:3. They did not call me when they finished my repairs – I called them one day only to discover that my car had been ready for pickup for days. Meanwhile I am continuing to pay to rent a car in the interim while Lucy’s is supposed to be repairing my car.4. They did not fix everything on the first attempt – power locks, the ability of the windows to roll up/down automatically after hitting the corresponding button, and the auto-triggering functions of the backup camera (put car into reverse and the camera turns on) all were not fixed. I had to bring the car in again for another round of repairs.5. Their cleanup was sloppy – I found a bunch of spare parts/tools in my trunk after they finished the first round of repairs.

This review is for their Body Shop:after getting hit, the other driver recommended this place, trying to help a the other driver who is a college student out I gave this place a try, since the other places I have gone, their estimate was little high on my mercedes car. worked out great! Good job on my car and owner was nice and staff were friendly people. I would recommend this place.

I got my first flat tire on my way to work and had to change it on the side of the road yet. All of the other shops open at 8am but Lucys was ready to go at 7:30am and was able to fix my tire in less than 5 minutes. Amazing service!! Trying to post the before/after

Needed an oil change for my 2003 BMW before going on a trip early the next morning. I called in at 5:15 and found out they closed at 6 but they said as long as I was there by 5:30 they would get it done for me. Got a quote and hurried over just making it by 5:30. Before I even had the paperwork done they had already pulled the car in and were working. Couldnt believe that at 5:50 they were already done AND the total cost was LESS than the estimate printed on the paperwork. They thanked me for my business on the way out and Id happily recommend them to anyone that asked.

Lucys Auto Center had been a really nice business until an incident happened and things went downhill. On January 4th, 2016 we dropped off my vehicle for fuel injectors to be changed. The next day, we receive a call that there has been an accident and the engine was destroyed. The shop tells us to rent a car and theyll get their insurance on the case. 3 weeks later, still no news so we contact our insurance to see what they can do. After our insurance investigates, it turns out Lucys Auto Parts is claiming they have no responsibility in the incident and its up to our insurance to pay. The owner of the shop insulted me and threatened to call the cops when I went to the shop to simply ask why the shop doesnt want to take responsibility for what happened, especially that they admitted it in the first place. I am now obliged to file a lawsuit to get the rental car paid and sort this out.Accidents do happen, of course. But the way this matter has been treated so far (because its not over!) is unacceptable and shameful. I would stay away from this shop. Not because of the quality of the service provided, but because of how a simple incident that could have been settled in a matter of days is turning out to be a complex legal case. STAY AWAY from this shop!

Avo and his team are wonderful! I have unfortunately gotten into 2 accidents within the last 2 years and my car always looks better than new when they are finished repairing the damage. Avo is a life saver and the work is amazing! Lucys Auto Center makes the stress of getting into an accident much easier. After my car was towed there after an accident, they gave my insurance company (Geico) an estimate for the repair of prox $8000 - seemed high, but ok. They (the ins.co) also told me I could take the car to any shop of my choosing for the repair, and when I told Avo (the owner) that is what I was doing he created a bill!! for almost $6000, including $136/day for storage!! and 20% restock for several thousand dollars worth of parts NOBODY authorized him to order!!, and now is refusing to return my car. A real nightmare. I would advise anybody and everybody to stay FAR away from this place!!

Absolutely WORST place of FRAUD business ever. Owner and Monique are itching for every nickel and dime and sadly they are going to continue to do it. I dont care how much your business makes as long as you do what you say professionally. The only reason why I even decided to write a review is to warn others to beware. I personally would drive 50 miles further just to avoid this shop at all cost. It will save you time, energy, a headache, migraine, and heartache to know that there are people still out in this world who claim to be a legit business person, but these people definitely are NOT. I went in to check and see why my car unfortunately did not start over the weekend. A reputable auto repair shop right down the street performed a diagnostic and recommended a fuel pump replacement. Since it was major work I asked if they could tow it to the place that I normally take my vehicle for repairs. Somehow this Lucys place intercepted the call, alleged to have fixed my car and made it worse. I paid the fees with a card that was for emergencies, drove off and not even 5 minutes later, my car turns off in the middle of traffic right before the intersection of Pico and LaBrea. I calmly call and ask to actually have my car fixed after 3 days of it being at their shop. The owner was nice enough to send a tow truck, and reassess the problem. He then says that he did not want to charge as much so he did minors repairs to minimize the cost of out of pocket expenses. The missing parts would not be available until the next day so he gave me a ride to pick up my child but became nitrate when we had to pick up the house keys attached to the car keys at their location since my car was still not working. He kindly cursed me and called and Uber before leaving me stranded for 2 days after starting my new job. Drove for 2 days and wheny car went from 60mph on the freeway to completely stopping before I could pull over safely, I called them hysterically for a tow truck and a refund. They denied the refund, agreed to fix any issue, and sent a tow truck. After immediately calling the card company, they filed a dispute and I prayed I didnt lose my life on that freeway because of their lack of thoroughly doing their job. Not long after my car magically started again and I was able to drive straight to their shop hoping for an explanation of why I had to pay the full amount for a half ass job. They told me to rest assure that they would fix it and they would throw in a free oil change next time because I want you to stop by and say hi, not that we didnt fix your car said the demented owner. Why would I need anything free if I paid for a service you said you did correctly I wondered. A few more days with put of pocket costs for Triple A, Uber, Lyft, and rides to and from work. The irony that by the 3rd time wheny car didnt start, yet again I called the place on their lack job and this time not only did they refuse to fix the issue, she dismissed my claim that they were responsible for fixing the car and kindly cursed me again since my card company had to contact their business establishment regarding the dispute. A few good Samaritans helped to get my car to the correct auto repair shop, they fixed it in a matter of hours and did indeed see that the original fuel pump replacement was done incorrectly. My card was in fact refunded and I would never go back to that shop or recommend it to anyone. I nearly lost a job because of their lack of communication, given that the owner never called to check and see if I could even afford the actual cost of the repairs before assuming that I wanted to pay as little as possible, they subjected me and my child to their disrespect of an actual legit business practice and how they treated their clients, and they were the most unprofessional, inconsiderate humans I have ever came across out to make a quick buck from car insurance scams. I assure you that their business is lacking so they definitely will try anything to keep you there, and your car in the shop for the dollars that they are not worth. NO MORE!

If I could give a negative star I would. I live in the area and this place is literally at the end of my block. I went there to ask help putting my drivers mirror on. I had the part. The hatted man with a beard, said the mechanic would help me. Another mechanic was in the stall. He was friendly and said that the other guy, Antonio would help me. Tony (for short) walked past me several times. I finally asked if he was going to help me. He never came to my or anything and said I aint gonna do that! I replied that I was told he would. He walked away. I WENT TO LUXURY AUTO DOWN THE STREET AND THE OWNER PUT ON MY MIRROR FOR FREE NO CHARGE. DO NOT GET WORK DONE HERE. DEPENDING ON THE DAY AND THE PERSON YOU MAY OR MAY NOT GET HELP.
