Doctor Rovner, was extremely unprofessional. I asked simple inquiries as far as what it took to sign up for a test. When asked why I would like to take a polygraph exam, I informed him I did not feel comfortable giving out personal information as to why I would like to take a polygraph exam until I knew what protocols the business took. Since I did not want to give out my person information he answered rudely and said he could not work with me, & said good luck in trying to find someone who’d work with me rudely. Don’t understand how this man has a business he needs to learn that people might not want to give out personal family information without setting up a meeting to ensure personal information will be kept safely.

In late May of 2009, my 13-year-old son was accused of inappropriately touching a girl. Police from the LAPD Sex Crimes Unit mounted an investigation and concluded with no eterminations or charges brought. In August, just before school was starting, our son learned he was being removed from the schools coveted Drama program because the victim had cried and told the principal she was not comfortable having our son in the class with her. Because my son had asked repeatedly to take a polygraph test, my wife and I decided to accommodate him. We selected Dr. Rovner to administer the test after reading about his extensive experience in civil and criminal cases. Our son passed the test showing he was completely truthful when he denied touching the girl at any time that night. We immediately informed the school and provided them a copy of Dr. Rovners report. The principal reversed his decision and allowed our son to be in Drama again this year.
