I was looking for a more precise piano tuner for our vertical grand. I had felt the last person tuning it was hurried and claims of a spectacular ear always left me feeling it was not quite right. I made several calls and sent a few emails and Paul responded right-away. He was easy to schedule with and reminded me of the appointment a hour early and was prompt. He had already discussed all the of the possible rates and charges and how he was going to address the piano tuning. Paul was direct and forthright with his information and assessment, Took the Piano apart sufficiently to get at all of it and tuned it to perfection getting to solidly sit at 440 and across the keys. Paul was great! He responded to me very quickly and was easy to reach throughout the booking process and showed up on time. I purchased a 1914 Sterling on Craigslist. It had been renovated and tuned but it didnt sound right to me. Paul was exceptional. I didnt know anything about piano tuning, before this Id only ever owned a keyboard, but he taught me a lot in a short amount of time. Through him I learned that the piano was in tune but out of pitch. Even with my lack of knowledge I felt I was able to make an informed and accurate decision on what method Id prefer him to tune it. He spent about three hours, all the while informing me of what he was doing, and when he was finished the piano sounded beautiful. Almost a week later it sounds as good now as it did the moment he left. Ill definitely be using him again. Five stars.

I have a Lester piano, built pre-World War II, that has been gathering dust in my house for months. It hadnt been tuned in maybe a decade when it came into my possession. Very bad experience...He came tuned the piano using his iPhone app, he couldnt put the cover back, he managed to put it some how, but the screwswas not put to the end, asked me to call someone else to do it.. after he left, one note , you press on it it doesnt go up back ... I called him to come & fix what hes done, after many calls, he answered, saying its not my fault, pay somebody else, hang up on me....
