Our son completed wilderness therapy and rehab, then attended the teen rehab aftercare program at Key Transitions, called key housing. Even though we felt a tremendous breakthrough with our son during wilderness therapy, we wanted him to have some structure and additional therapy before coming home. The teen sober living environment key housing created was a perfect fit. There is 24/7 staff, and our son really connected with one of the staff members. The kids have structured days, and attend the adolescent intensive outpatient curriculum 5 days per week with individual and group therapy. They sometimes went to the beach on the weekends, and he liked the morning meditations, which he has now kept as part of his daily life. Great program!

We didnt want to send our child away to a teen marijuana rehab center for many reasons, so our therapist recommended trying a teen outpatient treatment instead. I was very nervous about sending my son to teen treatment, but the Key Transitions teen outpatient program seemed like the perfect fit. We had tried everything and nothing seemed to work. When we found these angels, our daughter (now 19) was on and off struggling with depression and drugs. Key Transitions is the best place I have found for my struggling teenager. Key Transitions looked like a good fit, and sounded like a good fit for my son, who stayed there for over four months. There were a few staff that were fantastic. My real issue is with the business and management of this facility. Very poorly run.

Not a bad rehabilitation center for adolescents and those who need help with substance abuse. Still needs some structural changes (as of late april 2020) but I would go again.

For this type of care, there is simply no alternative to the kind, loving approach taken by the team at Key.
