Such a great way to live! Co-operative living is one of the best experiences I have had in my life! There was a total sense of community amongst everybody who lived there AND it is very affordable.Moving to a big city like LA was a little intimidating at first, but Live the Co made the move so much easier. I lived there for 6 months and made some friends for life. I felt very safe, worked out at the gym, went to yoga classes, and saved a lot of money while living there. The community is full of professionals from all walks of life aspiring to be actors, musicians, yoga instructors, tech professionals, and so many other awesome paths. Plus they just made an awesome office so it’s perfect if you work from home AND they have made a ton of Covid-19 cleaning arrangements.Ultimately, a great place to live and I would highly recommend to anybody!!

LiveTheCo strives to be a utopia of greatness amongst the crowded streets of Los Angeles. Unfortunately, it falls far short of that goal and instead is a Coronavirus disaster waiting to happen. Everyday is like the beaches in Florida during spring break. There is no “social distancing” and the management’s reply is “well we can’t have *official* events here but we’ll instead tell people to have an unofficial party that we ‘don’t know about.’ ”This place is good for people who do not believe in personal ownership of items. Food and personal care items go missing but no roommate took it (there must be elves living in the vents!).Security is also an issue. Because the residents struggle to keep doors secure, just about anyone can get into the building and have a field day if they so choose. This is especially true of the back gate. It is nearly impossible to keep locked because other residents just leave it open.Logic is replaced with “healing crystals” and headaches are caused by “EM waves from electronics.” Yeah. Really.Below are some tips for those looking to move in:1) Please don’t enter your social security number in their Google Form application, it isn’t secure and who knows if some bad person will one day get access to that account with bad intentions. Hello identity theft!2) In the lease agreement they tell you there is a mandatory cleaning fee when you leave the apartment. Unfortunately, it has been prohibited by the state Legislature since 1978, Civil Code section 1950.5 (j). Save yourself the $100 and have it removed from your lease before you move in. (To be clear, if you make a mess, they can 100% take it from your security deposit. What isn’t allowed is an automatic fee that applies even if the apartment is already clean). You’re welcome :)3) Don’t expect the building management to enforce the rules spelled out in the lease agreement, Complaints to them about violations often go ignored.

Love this place! The people, the atmosphere and the convenience of location. There are some things to get used to, such as the minimalist lifestyle-but overall very easy to adjust to. Just be open minded and respect others and their space :)

The best way to live in LA. Co-living is an amazing experience, the sense of community is like no other. The rent is at an unbelievable price, and EVERYTHING is included! (water, gas, electric and wifi) We have a gym on site along with an amazing roof top oasis with beautiful views of the city! The work space is perfect for those days when you’re working from home or even just need a quiet place to think! Cleaners come in 3x a week to help keep things looking their best! Laundry in unit and they even provide detergent and dryer sheets! The RoomMini is the absolute cutest and super cozy! They provide a fan, bedding and a pillow! What more could you ask for?! The Co is the best if you are looking for an apartment building that feels like home! “Family” dinners and trips to the beach are some of our favorite things to do! So glad I chose The Co!!

Im the OG tenet and the first to move into this building Aug 10th 2019. Over the past year there have been so many wonderful and diverse people from all over the world that I have had the opportunity to live with and experience life with. Definitely a solid spot to live!

This place is like a party house, but not in a good way. The tenants make noise all day and night with no regard for neighbors.I feel like it must be like a college dorm , but without anyone enforcing the rules.I get where this company is trying to go, but their disruptive tenants make life around here worse overall. This must be a great place for people just out of college who dont want to act like adults yet.

Great atmosphere, great building, great people! For $750 a month, you get a beautiful place to live, free wifi, free laundry service, a beautiful kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances and fully stocked with all your cooking essentials. The rooftop area has amazing views and great seating areas and a BBQ pit that gets a lot of use. I LOVE this place.

Guyssss super cool set-up and cool concept. Currently living at Live The Co. in Culver City and stoked to be here. Everything is provided for us - like, everything. We have a housekeeping service that comes and cleans in the apartments after us so if you’re worried about someone being a mess, they don’t really get a chance to be! I love it here and have zero complaints.

The website indicates that they have space available, but no one there responds to text, email, or phone messages. The only other review here is from someone who works for the company, so of course he rated the place highly. There are lots of marketing pics about the place, but nothing that shows what the shared bedrooms look like. Im starting to think this is a shady operation.
