In my opinion, this company could never obtain a legitimate 5 star review given the way they behave. If you know the physical whereabouts of Lisa Lewis please drop a dime. Is this an illegitimate escrow? Was never able to verify existence.

I was representing the buyer on a transaction, and this Escrow Office never disclosed to us about a cancelation fee of $500, upon emailing Lisa Lewis at this office emailed me back saying The cancellation fee is at my discretion. This is unethical and all fees including cancelation fees should be disclosed to clients before they sign documents.

I am a veteran of the Air Force and I was buying my first home with my VA Loan and found a great home close to where I grew up. My real estate agent dealt with the home owner and her real estate agent and suggested California investors escrow with the purpose to close our deal. As the negotiations and all the legal documents and funding were going on we found out that the escrow was delaying certain parts of the negotiations and not processing any of our paperwork or notary request due to a person by the name of Lisa Lewis. To sum it up they forgot to communicate with my lender, my real estate agent, and the seller’s people which delayed the transaction. They would not answer calls for inquiries, forget to process certain paperwork for the sale. Her office forgot what my name was multiple times and were just very disrespectful during the process. I felt bother and felt racially abused because of my veteran and Hispanic status. They were very unethical and would not suggest to go through them for any transactions, specially if you are a first time buyer.

I want to start by saying that my experience working with this company was a nightmare. We had a 90-day escrow due to to the seller request. With having 90 days to close the deal, we didnt close on time. The escrow officer name Lisa Lewis kept coming up with an excuse to prolong the deal upon the request of real-estate from the seller side. They would constantly catch them lying about what was being done. My agent had to blacklist them so one in their company will use them.

We recently refinanced our home due to the great interest rates, our experience with california investors escrow was great! The whole staff is very knowledgeable and very good at what they do, and its nice to be able to call and talk to my escrow officer instantly or within a few minutes, as they are prompt at getting back. You dont get that at many businesses these day.
