It was a good night to get out and about and hang out an old dance spot. Crowd wasnt as heavy how many people wear masks but theres plenty of dancing and pricey drinks.

The atmosphere was chill good vibe. Excellent customer service very attentive.

Love the regency west always a fun spot however the catfish is very salty the fries are hard and one of the waitresss is very rude not enough food for the price

Regency west is a fun venue to go. The people over were very friendly with me and other. Most of them were willing to dance with me especially buffie ricket which it was very nice of her. Alicia the manager is very cool with me. Regency west has taco Tuesdays and daytime affair every Saturdays. Go to Regency west youll have a great time over there

When DJ Paradise is there music is lit... can literally almost dance all night and the tacos are pretty decent too.

Need upgrade. Its had its hay day. The food by Pennys caters was absolutely delicious. Mommas homemade.

1980s style night club. Old school neighborhood style, speak easy type spot.The night I went it was full of B and C list celebrities...Sinbad, Joe Torry, Angela Bloom, SugarRay Leonard, and a bunch others who I knew their faces but not names.Fried chicken and catfish is DELICIOUS.I would give 5 stars but the restroom looks like it hasnt been remodeled since 1980.

Taco Tuesday is the night to be!!! Went for girlfriends birthday party in the early evening it was so much fun dancing to some classic 90s music. Vegetarian tacos are good and drink prices are very reasonable. Thank you actress @Vanessabellcalloway the owner for bringing such a great event venue into Leimert Park Community.

Love this place. Had a real nice time. D.J. was on point. The ppl was cool and down to earth. A very grown up place to go and chill. Knowing that no kids are allowed. Meaning 18 and under. Hell 21 and under if you ask me. I will even go as far as 25 and under. I will most definitely be going back.

I went last night to celebrate my friends sobriety party. I got there at 7:50 pm and had to wait in line for 1hour because the security kept letting other people in before me so i just left. Never going back. The security was rude and arrogant . My birthday is on the 26th and i guess my and Netflix are spending it together.

Every Tuesday, It is Taco Tuesday! You have to arrive early. Regency West to me is a hall turned into a Restaurant, Nightclub. Two bars and waitresses to help you get drinks and food(Tacos) They are good. Oh, there is vegan fare offered as well! Party atmosphere, security at the front entrance and of within the restaurant. Oh, DJ ,Music! Great! Dance floor. Plenty of dance floor. It appeared all the tables had been reserved. So call ahead and Reserve. Free to enter!!! Don Owens

I went there with my friend for his 90th birthday party and the waiters the bartenders the servers need be trained how to serve people are big crowd because doing the ceremony people the waiters walking in front end up on stage where everyone sat talking he should be walking behind people not in front of people you should be picking up the trays to the left not the right and ask them are they done and be polite about it but I still give a 4-star because their food was somewhat good but the hospitality need to grow and a big places thats my opinion and I will go back again and see if any improvement for star yes but hanging on very likely

If youre having an event and youre local this is a great location. The Regency west has been servicing the community since the total experience days, & marla Gibbs vision theater. Where even Tyler Perry performed. All the comedians have performed at the Regency west rising to be discovered. Great owners and staff, this place should be made a National Land Mark for the Community its serviced for so many years.

Cool sized hall for events, but parking access for guests was not the best.

The remodel is nice but the clientele is a bit too ghetto for my taste... Additionally, the price of drinks is extremely high $20 for a margarita is insane... I went there for birthday party paid $20 and never stayed inside longer than 20 minutes...too crowded and too ratchet.. luckily the best people & part of the party was outside at the outdoor tent that was put up for the party..

4.3 points - this place has been around for years. it has been well maintained. the only improvement it needs is in their wine selection. they kept changing from one wine brand to another.

This is one of the many places I performed comedy early in my career and now I attend a lot of awesome parties and events here. Parking is plentiful and the dance floor is right up.by the stage

Lets start with the Good. Venue was nice, Bar was good, the setup wss regular. I.was tgere as a guest for the Repast. I dont know what the contract is. But as tge guests were leaving, I started to help tge family. And Clean up, picking up the trash, and cleanin off the clutter and drinks left behind. I grab the trash can. But then the woman, working at the Venue, said do i want a wash cloth, to wipe the tables down. Now earlier i asked her, if there was any more plates. And she pointed me to my friend, to ask her. Now why would tell the guest to wipe the tables down, because its in the contract. One I DIDNT sign it, so direct that to the one that did. (Unprofessional) Secondly ive attended a lot of venues from Beverly Hills To Orange County. We have never had to wipe a table down. Trash, Decorations, food, ... and thats it.SSSSSOOOO for that, you get three stars.... Hite professional people

If you like hip hop and R & B music, then this is the place to be for the Afro-Centric crowd. I went to celebrate a coworkers retirement party that was there. The place is small; however, the food was good for the price. I am more into latín music, but I can adapt to my situation when needed. All in all, I did enjoy myself.

Excellent entertainment & very excellent service from the staff!
