Had our air conditioning and front breaks done on our 2006 Sonata. The estimates for both jobs were very fair and the work excellent. I loved that there were no surprises and each bill detailed all the work done.

Luis is always great. I trust him to do everything right and not to do work thats not needed. On.more than one occasion I have taken my car to him and asked him to do something. He checks it out and says its not needed or it wont be needed in x amount of time. Most mechanics would just do it and charge me for it. Hes honest.

The owner Luis Lopez does not have much customer service skills. He claims on his business card that he is honest and reliable, but he is not friendly and doubt he can connect with anyone unless they are males

It can be a challenge to find a knowledgeable, honest auto repair company that deliver and backs their promise. Luis Lopez Automotive is just that. We received exceptional service all-around. It was our first time here and we had our Kias front brake pads replaced and rotors resurfaced. Fast, great communication, respectful, and great work. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.

What happened to my old review? Anyway, this guy will treat your car well. He will do a great job, and wont rip you off. (Its too bad he hates pedestrians and bicyclists.) As long as were talking cars, you will be happy with his work. Prices will be fair and honest too, its awesome. (But man, he really opposed making a deadly section of road safer, even when we explained that people were killed on that street because of unsafe speeds. But he rather keep that section a drag-strip, thinking that increasing speed brings customers - as opposed to traffic-calmed Rowena, where businesses boomed since road diet measures were implemented.) Regardless, hes your man if you need a car loving mechanic. If cars were sentient, theyd tell you. Maybe he _can_ talk to cars... (Hmm, this may explain the awesome robot sculptures he makes from recycled car parts and stuff.) I highly recommend this business! (Were not talking about public safety or anything, thats personal and irrelevant. That has no place in a review, right? Even if its true.)

Came here for an alignment and felt like I was bothering from the start. Was told my car would be ready between when I dropped it off at 2pm till 5pm. So I expected a phone call. I arrived at 5:10 because they never called me.. and instead the shop is now closed and I dont have a car for work tomorrow. It would have been great to receive a phone call instead of this horrible costumer service.

This is a review of his attitude as I never got my car looked at. I was asked to bring my car in Tuesday Am so I could have an oil leak checked and come up with a plan to get it fixed before I headed home to san francisco on Saturday. I got there and was told he was a guy short. Ok can I bring it in later? no how about his afternoon? no. Well Im in kind of a tight spot can you recommend anyone Im new in town and dont know any shops? no there are plenty of other shops go to one of those.Guy, who I assume was Luis, had not one shred of being sorry that I came for an appointment and was not being helped. In a bad situation as I had to head of town in just a few days, and could not detect one ounce of empathy in any way. It was like I had an appointment, brought my car over, and his attitude was cant help you tough luck.So for all I know he might be a terrific mechanic. The problem with a shop like this is my guess if you run into any problems dont expect any kind of common courtesy or fair treatment. What is, is what is. Good luck.
