This auditorium is amazing, perfectly located inside USC. Best of all the parking structure is really close by, within walking distance. It’s perfectly sized for small events, and all angles are perfect for picture taking. My other favorite part of this place is that as soon as you exit, there so many places where you can take pictures. USC is a beautiful campus, and the auditorium is located perfectly.

This is a beautiful theater, not too big. The only complaint I have is that USC needs to put more signage up to tell you where to go from the prospective parking situation youve gotten yourself into. I asked 2 students in passing where Bovard was and neither knew, so I switched it up and asked where the Tommy Trojan statue was and that was the key. I had been told in an email that the theater was by that statue- thank goodness for that tidbit of info.

Its an auditorium lol.. Seats were comfortable.. I got lucky, the usher gave us great seats about 3 rows from the front and the graduates had to walk right pass us so we got some great shots! Campus parking was none and I paid $40 to park close by.. Some people parked a mile or more away..

One of the biggest auditoriums in USC. Spacious and good seats, what more could you ask from the place

I have been here twice for a Vision and Voice performance (Santa Fe Aspen Ballet and Ballet Memphis). Ticket assignments are first come first serve so try to come at least an hour early to snag the orchestra seats. Otherwise youll be stuck with the balcony seats. Bovard Auditorium is small enough that almost any section should be fine but I enjoy being close to the stage. Sometimes the line is shorter if you are on the non-affiliated list (versus the staff, alumni, students list). For example, today the affiliated line was much longer because they were giving out free t-shirts. I decided to forgo the free t-shirts for a shorter line. Priorities! Take the Metro, take a gamble parking in the residential area or pay $10 to park in the structure.

Bovard gave me a sour impression to start. At orientation they crammed all the incoming freshman in here to deliver this school is awesome indoctrination - you know, those endless speeches by over-excited alumni-administrators who dont know when to stop talking and dont pay attention to the distracted faces in the crowd. There was better fare with time. Famous people come here to speak all the time, and the experience is as good as they make it.The interior feels dark and dingy. The brick exterior is beautiful, and its actually genuine, unlike many of the newer additions to campus. It feels lived-in, like people have actually spent time here and done interesting things in this building.
