Everything about the flight was terrific Except, the food was horrible. Going and returning flight from Los Angeles had the same breakfast burrito. It was served for dinner on the return flight. It was truly disgusting 🀒. I rather had chewed on the headrest cloth.

The staff was helpful with checking in my dog. The website shows that the ticket counter is staffed 2 Β½ hours prior to the flights however, the counter didnt open until 5am so there was a backup with people trying to drop their Checked bags. That extra Β½ hour would have made a difference for the 7am flight.

Almost everything is great about this airline except that the flight was incredibly hot with no individual ac controls which may be due to covid precautions but it was still uncomfortable. The staff is very attentive and the airline has free in-flight movies and food services but no drink purchases. I would still recommend but would really like to see some modifications with the climate controls.

Hawaiian Airlines its a very reliable air line with a big fleet and very good aircrafts, a very kind attention for his cabin crew and you have available snacks for purchase and entertainment system too, a nice miles program, offering service from a lot different airports around the Pacific, United states, and keep growing up with an excellent service to his costumers

Worse airline ever with no sympathy or Aloha. how are you not going to swab seats to accommodate for 2 young kids traveling with an adult? They are Hawaii residents too. But you would rather bend the rules for haole. More reason why residents are being pushed out of paradise cause of customer service from big corporations like Hawaiian Airline.

Make sure to take Covid Test within the list of their trusted partners list because I was still Quarantined for 10 day even though I took a test from a very creditable lab in California that showed a Negative result. They make no exceptions other than the Lab Partners on their list.

The large planes that take you from the mainland to Hawaii are among the best Ive been on. There was a complimentary hot meal for everyone on board, the seats were comfortable, and the in-flight entertainment was good, which is already better than most other airlines. The planes that go between islands arent as great, but its like a 40 minute flight at most, so it doesnt need to be.

Kids? Don’t take the red eye. Because of this experience we will likely not be flying Hawaiian red eye in the future. Other flights have been great. This particular flight is not good. Everything started to become poor about one hour before the flight ended. This is when they decide to turn on the cabin lights and keep them on for the remainder of the flight. Then they subject everyone to a shameless credit card pitch on the monitors using the airplane speakers. After that they ask everyone to open the windows. If your looking to enjoy peace and quiet while traveling at night take Delta.

Best service and comfort. Amenities included sandwich, a few snacks/drinks during the 6 hour flight, coffee/tea time and a complimentary adult Punch. Seats had enough room to recline some and head rest sides move for comfort. TV had some free things but movies and shows had additional cost. Flight attendants were sweet. Clean aircraft. Make sure you bring headphones.

This airline lacks empathy and customer service. Good customer service means at least understanding and listening to your customers. Regurgitating rules isnt the same thing. Its unfortunate that Hawaiian missed an opportunity to hear a customer out even if they didnt take any action after that. Now that Southwest is in the picture for the islands I will be taking my business there. We dont expect any airline to bend the rules for each customer with an extenuating circumstance but I dont think its too much to ask that you at least listen.

We just flew with Hawaiian Airlines for the first time for our trip to Maui last week. I would suggest people purchase the comfort plus seats if you can afford a few hundred dollars more; especially for the long flights from the CONUS. They charge $30 per checked bag per trip. We spent $120 round trip for our recent visit.

I’d leave no stars if I could. I’m currently have been waiting at the airport for over nine hours. We sat on the plane for 2 hours after which they cancelled our flight. They rescheduled the flight for 1am and now it is currently 1:18am and they continue to say any minute we will be boarding, this flight will probably get canceled too. I have 2 toddlers and a new born and they don’t help at all with them. They keep over promising and not even delivering. I don’t think I can ever fly Hawaiian again after today.

Arrived to check in for my flight and check a bag when I noticed some serious issues regarding this companys customer service and operating procedures:1. There were about 8 employees present- 5 of these folks were just standing around talking and hanging out in the first class section with 0 customers in line, whereas the rest (3) were assisting customers in the regular (coach or economy) section with about 40 or so customers in line.2. When I skipped the line and walked directly up to the first class counter and asked to be helped, the employee was somewhat rude and informed me that that section was for first class customers only. Once again, 5 employees were working in this section with 0 customers while 40+ customers stood in line in the other section waiting to be helped by 2 employees working behind the counter- now for the 3rd employee:3.The third employee working in this area was literally walking up and down the line with 40+ customers informing them that A. You must check in and print your boarding pass and baggage check form on a kiosk before you get to the counter and B. Dont use this kiosk or this kiosk or that one over there because theyre out of service (broken, unusable). So half of their machines were broken and multiple customers who had been standing in line for a few minutes had to go wait for a kiosk to open up, print their stuff, then go to the back of the line and start over.4. Finally, another employee grabbed myself and a handful of other customers and brought us over to the first class section to check in, which minutes later and with 4 or 5 employees standing around talking and literally just hanging out, still had 0 customers in line. We were helped and were sent on our way after that.Summary: have less employees and actually have them working instead of embarrassing themselves and your company. Fix your machines or use your employees to do the same process- you know, since theyre standing around doing nothing anyways, they might as well work a little bit and maybe develop some professionalism and customer service skills along the way. But hey, the plane did not crash and my bag made it to Kauai, so heres two stars, Hawaiian. Thanks.

Hawaiian airlines is a pretty decent airline for your money. On some of the A330s, the inflight entertainment units are newer and the flooring is newer. One of the A330s I traveled in had a pretty old IFE unit and the vinyl flooring was starting to stick up in the lavatories. The food they serve is wonderful and you get a meal for free! The in-flight entertainment is actually really bad. You have to pay for every movie there and the only free ones are about the airline and other things about Hawaii. You even have to pay for the games as well, which is not good. The older line of A330s need to be updated with new flooring and new IFE units. So far, this airline is pretty decent and I would recommend it to you if you are willing to pay for all the movies you watch.

Worst airline Ive ever flown with! Unfriendly staff, especially when you are late with kids, on the ground and in the air! Never ever again. Food was awful by the way! Nothing for kids, no in between snacks for the kids and so on. At the airport I heard the staff chatting with each other talking about us, one Stewardess said: so stupid... and than she looked at me (blonde woman in her late 20s to beginning 30s, big owl eyes, hair to a bun, tall, average weight - fire her!!!)

Stuck in lax due to Hawaiian delay, not related to weather. Waited at gate for over an hour, called the service line and they gave me no onions. I explained that I will miss my connection and its the last flight out what are my options. Their response over and over was talk to someone there, I asked how far in advance they open the counter, she said 2.5 hours, I said its 45 minutes prior to original departure and no one is here. The flight that is delayed in getting here for us to take should be here in 20 minutes and the counter is still not open. She told me I have no options and she cant help, I asked if she can contact someone here herself since no one is here, she said no. Then she told me they would charter a plane for me.... Ok now you are just bsing me! I said fine who do I talk to for that? She said gate agent. I said the one that is not here? Her response, hmm thats a good point. I cant help you.Worst start to a birthday trip ever! Skip Hawaiian airlines!!!

Back in July 14, 2013 we flew Hawaiian (HA1) from LAX to Honolulu. Our flight was delayed progressively over the course of the morning, over and over again - eventually, word got around between the passengers that our plane was stuck in Asia somewhere and another plane was going to have to be brought in (If this was the case, why didnt Hawaiian simply give us a better estimate when we would actually board a plane? Probably so they could control the passengers better and wouldnt have to give out meal vouchers.). The passengers for HA1 watched as other Hawaiian flights took off, some even going to Honolulu, but we got to sit in LAX terminal for many hours longer. Eventually, another plane was brought in and we had to ride a shuttle-bus to a detached terminal to board this plane. Originally slated for 7 AM, our flight did not depart LAX until well past 2 PM. Hawaiian offered no reconciliation for this delay - no mileage, no meal vouchers, NOTHING. Even Chinese Eastern Airlines treats their delayed passengers better, offering a small packet of snacks to customers who are delayed. If you like to get shafted before your Hawaiian vacation, travel Hawaiian and enjoy watching others departing while you sit for hours in the terminal.

Wow.. what a terrible experience this flight was.. they acted like terrorists; keep the temperature in the plane at a maximum of 20degrees Celsius just to make people ask for blankets which they sell with 10$; after take-off they started to sell food without informing that in another 40min they will serve the food in the tickets.. they ask for money on earbuds and movies .. after complaining they offered a 100 usd travel credit despite i told them that i am living in europe and i am already homeDO NOT FLY THESE GUYS!!!

8AM flight to LIH. First, an hour delay on tarmac. Then return to the gate, and additional 12 hour delay. This is not good at all Hawaiian Airlines.Over an hour in line to customer service, and the line has not moved.
