Not happy with the communication level of this company. They come by at their own convenience without booking a time to actually speak to you. They shoot out a vague quote, get you to sign and give payment details. Was told my job would be within 2 weeks. I waited nearly 2 months and had to chase it down. There was never clear person to person communication about the work that would be done, just a lot of fast talking on the phone. Due to no person to person on site conversation regarding the work that will be done, there is no clarity about what will be done exactly (quote literally says something as vague as trim back trees around house.) In the end, the job looks random and half done. They came back to complete it after I complained and it still looks random and half done, but there is no offer to come out person-to-person to discuss the work and come to an agreement. One is always kept at at phone distance. It was partially my mistake for booking them in on the 5 star recommendations and trusting they would do the work I thought they said they would do verbally, when the quote was so vague. I called to verbally clarify the quote before signing on, but I should have had everything put in writing, so we both knew we were on the same page. There is too much margin for error when there is no on-site communication and/or detailed quoting. So I am putting out this review so others can make sure to tie them down to specifics about they will do before they do the job. Communication is key. If one knows clearly what one is committing to, then one can judge the job accurately. I would strongly encourage this company to do person-to-person quoting, so the job can be explained on site. In this way there will be no margin for error of understanding between client and business.

I have used Eco now 2 times, once in 2020 and once in 2021. I would use them again hands down. I did get other pricing, and it was comparable to the other companies. But no one could beat Ryans response time, and when he said the guys would be here at a certain time, they actually were! I would use them again no questions asked.

We have used Ecotree for 10 to 12 years to treat our large Ash tree for emerald ash borer. The treatment used was the Arbor Jet method which provides effective control for two years. The Arbor Jet method required several hours for the technician to monitor the uptake of the chemicals through the trees vascular system. This year the service man showed up and explained that due to weather conditions the Arbor Jet method couldnt be used and he would instead be applying a spray to the bark of the tree. This method provides protection for 12 months. The spray was applied in less than 30 minutes. Im angry that I didnt receive a revised quote and was charged the same amount ($698) for a service that protects my tree half as long and required a fraction of the amount of time to apply.
