No complaints here. Steven did a great job restoring my lap top. He gave it much more computer space to prevent a crash by eliminating unnecessary programs. His communication was on point. He called me immediately after I left Computer Works to ask my permission to delete the unnecessary files. He also explained the new Windows 10 software and the anti-malware and virus protection it would contain. Supporting this local business was well worth my time and the cost was reasonably priced.

I took my $500 laptop there to find out why it quit working, ok so I suspected it was the HD and thats what it was, he then tried to sell me a new HD, I advised him I had a 1TB SSD to install and told him I would do it myself since it was such an easy install...via youtube. And he wanted $100 to install my HD even though it was a really easy install. So he just tossed the HD case back in without putting wires on the hangers on the side of the HD case. Well long story short, one of the wires was broken when I went to install the HD. So NOW it will have to go the the shop in Austin as soon as I feel safe enough to take it there.REALLY bad service and I cant believe he broke my computer!!!!

I’ve been going to Computer Works for several years with my computer glitches. Steven has remedied the problems every time. It’s so nice not to have to go into Austin or elsewhere for this service, too! AND I can trust him!!

I called his business number and scheduled an appointment to have him check out my laptop. He said he was able to make a house call which worked out good for me. He fixed the problem and made a recommendation on upgrading a part. It was something I had my suspicions on too and wasn’t forced upon me. Once the part came in, turnaround was less than 24 hrs even on a weekend and that was important to me as I use my laptop for recording music, photo and video editing. He followed up after the work was done to ensure everything was running up to satisfaction, and it was. The price was what you’d expect for professional work and not some diy YouTube hack, but the best part was keeping my business local. For that I now have a go-to guy for all my future pc needs.

Came in at 9:40 or so and the door was locked. No answer when I knocked. Im guessing they dont actually open at nine since another review had the same issue.

He wont return the calls I made. He must be only servicing his contract with the city of Lockhart.

Took my laptop in today for video display issues. Steven was helpful, communicated well, and was able to fix my particular problem in a matter of just a few hours, for a reasonable price.

I came by the store when it opened had a sign up saying it was open, door was like locked and no one inside. I knocked a couple times I even called but no answer.
