Not worth it. If you want the advance, they will give you 500 then charge you 450 for their services, even if your taxes are extremely simple to file. Ripped off! Will never use them again. Do them yourself, its way cheaper and you dont have to sit in the office for over an hour watching some guy attempt to use a keyboard. After actually filing, and getting an advance, the advisor told me I could use the routing and account number to pay bills with the advance. This is a lie. I now have to pay insufficient funds fees for using the account numbers... they dont work! Ill advised. I now owe even more money because they advised me wrongfully. This on top of the 450 they charged for something that I could have done for 100 bucks tops. Thiefs!

Emails wouldnt go through. Not much communication at all. I wanted more advice. I got none. I feel like I paid a lot of money to have someone at Block do in 3 days what I could have done in an evening with Turbo Tax.

An experienced advisor, that knew what to do in a complicated situation (last year) and went out of his way to schedule an appointment outside of his regular hours. He also gave information that will be beneficial for this year.
