We had to have my daughter’s homecoming dress altered and they were very nice and pleasant while dealing with us during our consultation. Also very attentive and very helpful! Quick with our alterations with quality work! Definitely recommend!

I have been taking my clothes here for years to get alterations done. She’s always done a great job. Prices are fair. They aren’t the friendliest in there but as long as they do good work I could care less.

Ferney does amazing work, always up front with time frame and has always completed the alterations on time at the price she quoted. I’ve used her for 10 years.

I am very particular when it comes to anything I spend my money on. Elegant alternations met my expectations when I had the skirt to my 2-piece wedding gown hemmed. As others have noted, the seamstress is not over-friendly/bubbly, etc. but I dont personally mind that. She does a good job and thats what matters. I will be scheduling another appointment to have my skirt now hemmed to be tea-length and will have having a slip of my great-grandmothers turned into a more suitable dress for me to wear :) I would highly recommend due to the quality I have received.

We told her exactly what we wanted and she totally disregarded what we said. We wanted a dress shortened and the train brought around on the sides about an inch. Length was fine but nothing was done to the train. When I asked about it, she totally denied saying that she could do it. Price was extremely high just to be shortened!!! Also, have in writing what your asking to be done, because she totally denied the conversation on bringing the train around. I never would of left the dress had she said she could not provide the main thing we asked for!!!

The lady who owns this shop is fantabulous. Weve taken several things to her and she always gets them done the correct way. Perfect!

Incredibly rude. I went in to have an alteration done to the collar of a turtle neck shirt. She told me it could not be done. When I asked why she told she did not have time to explain everything to me about sewing and that I should leave. No joke. I was shocked. She actually got angry and raised her voice toward me.Maybe what I needed done in fact could not be done but she didnt have to talk down to me. There were no other customers in the store.

I Fearney was AMAZING!!! She was such a great help! I took my wedding dress to her to get it altered and she was so kind and patient and she knows what she is doing! She also altered my belt for my dress and it was perfect! She was really fast and my dress was fit me like a glove! Thank you so much Fearney for the best customer service!!!

I would highly recommend this place. Fearney did a splendid job with my sisters wedding dress. She is professional and kind and helpful. Her price was the best, beat everyone else, saved us a lot of money!!!

Fearney is the best! My family and I have taken clothes to Elegant Alterations for years and have always had wonderful experiences. I have never seen Fearney be rude to anyone - she is always very nice, polite, and professional - and she does great work!

Came in to get pants altered, she didn’t greet us but greeted everyone else... 3 people came in after and were assisted. She overlooked us. We were shocked and decided to take our money elsewhere. I did let her know in a nice manner that it was rude and very unprofessional the way she conducted her business. And she started getting loud for absolutely no reason I told her to have a nice day and walked out. The lady was VERY RUDE.

The woman knows her business and does it well. She will have you pinned and ready to go in a flash and it will fit like a glove!
