Cant wait to see if there is a resolution to this. I just wanted to get my money back because they did absolutely nothing but put my life and my passengers life in danger by unplugging random things from my engine and then lying and saying it was a solution!Save your time, there is a lot of mechanics in Little Rock that are much more trustworthy. Its obvious that Jerry Vaughn (the Midas employee I dealt with, only wants one time customers)I brought my vehicle here to get a diagnostic because my car was having issues stuttering around a certain RPM. At first, I was talking to the technicians while they were running their tests with their scanner. They ran into issues because my vehicle wasnt giving any error codes. I let them look at the car for a few hours and then I received a call saying that I needed a specific part, but in the meantime, they could just unplug it and it would work fine.So I picked up my vehicle, realized the issue was still happening, called back and all of the sudden, they told me unplugging it wasnt enough. It felt sketchy, so I took it to another mechanic only to find out that the part they unplugged had nothing to do with the problem. I called just now, and they lie to me saying that my car was giving an error code and tried to completely forget that they unplugged some random part of my engine.I asked why I PAID them almost $100 for them to basically close their eyes and unplug something at random. The person I talked to said, Is it plugged back in? and then basically said I was SOL and never offered any kind of apology or way to make it right.I have already spoken to the Midas Customer Service regarding this incident, and am just waiting for a response.

This place is so damaged they had so many come backs. There quality work is terrible i had to quit working in the toxic place. Management is clueless of what He is doing. Several oil changes became engine replacements because lack of knowledge as simple as Putting the correct oil filter on the vehicle. Oils are not put in as they should if u pay for. Synthetic u still get a mixed oil because they use the same containers as your basic oil change i definitely will never recommend this place to no body

The only down side is the prices they quoted for the replacement part was a lot higher than the market. I chose to just pay the diagnostic fee and see if I can get a more reasonable price.

I needed my car serviced and inquired how they were handling this due to the current pandemic (or masks, social distancing). I was told β€œwe aren’t pushing that here.” I asked what that meant, the person I talked to over the phone repeated himself. I asked if people were wearing masks inside, he told me I could if I wanted to, but they aren’t wearing masks nor are they requiring anyone to wear a mask in the lobby. Our state has a mask mandate in effect and we are in a global pandemic for a highly contagious virus! I absolutely would not recommend a business that could not comply with state laws or safety practices. If they can’t wear a mask or socially distance, there is no telling what corners they are cutting with my car.

I was on a 14 hour, 2-day road trip back home with two kids, age 2 years and 3 months, 5 hours away from home, driving in the rain on highway 430, when my driver’s side windshield wiper quit working. The kids were already restless and I was scared because I couldn’t even see where I was driving in the downpour. I turned on my hazards and pulled to the side of the highway until the rain let up enough for me to pull off on the next exit. I found a gas station and pulled over to see if the wiper just came off or what was wrong since the passenger side was still working. A man who worked at the gas station saw me struggling and came to look at it for me. He popped the hood and told me it was something more than what he could fix and told me there was a shop right down the road. Luckily the rain had let up enough for me to drive slowly and I saw Midas.I pulled in and was greeted by Jerry. I told him what was going on and he said it sounded like the wiper motor went out and that they aren’t cheap but they could fix it. I got my kids out of the car and took them to the lobby while they pulled the car back. I had just accepted that I could be there 3 or more hours and tried to get my kids situated.Within 20 minutes, Jerry came back in and said I was ready to go. I couldn’t believe it! I was prepared to pay some big money to get back on the road for 5 more hours of driving but he told me that some nuts and bolts had come off and it didn’t need a new motor.So first of all, I’m so thankful for their honesty and integrity in not replacing and charging me for something I didn’t need. I could have easily been taken advantage of. And also for them getting me in and out so quickly.Secondly, their service and friendliness is probably the best I’ve ever experienced ANYWHERE. They went far above and beyond what I would expect from an auto shop, even helping me carry out my diaper bag and baby carrier as I wrangled my two year old back into the car in a light rain. One of the workers even held the door for us and opened my car doors for me.I got back on the road in disbelief with how the situation went from being a nightmare and feeling totally defeated and exhausted to it being a total blessing and giving me a refresh for the rest of the drive home. My only regret is that they aren’t a local shop for me to give my repeat business to since they’re 5 hours away from where I live lol.Thank you, Jerry, and to the other young man who helped us in our journey! I took my car for a brake inspection and was informed all roters and brake pads needed replaced for a total of $500. I had it checked by someone else because I didnt trust the information they gave me. It turned out only the back two brake pads needed replaced. I saved hundreds of dollars that I otherwise would have been scammed out of. I do not recommend anyone go to Midas for anything.

Do NOT use this place. Very shady. My son had them install a tensioner pulley assembly on a Honda Odyssey . 4 months later the bolt holding the tensioner broke, all you have to do is google or in my case both google and I called Honda To make sure this bolt comes with the assembly and it did. So I call Midas tell them the situation in detail, Jerry Vaughn tells me it should be under warranty bring it up next morning, we have the van TOWED up next morning and everything seems good , we leave go and get new belt, yes we provided the new belt, and when we get back , Jerry tells me the bolt is not under warranty, everything else is but not that bolt. Then he tells me we need to buy new bracket that the tensioner bolt broke off in, charges 195.00 just for new bracket which can be bought online for 48.00 or at Honda dealer for 85.00 . Just one rip off after another, ended up costing 560.00 for a bolt , yes 1 bolt. Jerry knew I had the car towed and knew he had me over a barrel. He would not talk about anything I asked and told me he would β€œ push it out of the door if we didn’t like it. DO NOT USE THIS RIPOFF GARAGE, unless you like getting screwed, because this olace is your worst nightmare. I will also be taking to Facebook to tell this story and get every friend I have which is considerable to share . That’s how bad this place does business. I just hope I can save someone else the same nightmare.

Sloppy, bad attitude: I had my muffler replaced here not long ago, and I will never go back.They pulled out my car at the end of the day, and immediately I noticed that the raw exhaust pipe was sticking out at least a foot behind the car (enough that you would trip over it and/or burn your leg).The pipe itself was cut at an angle and the edges were still rough, so much so that it could easily cut someone.The guy behind the counter and the mechanic both acted as though this was totally normal and said I had unrealistic expectations. Then they tried to charge me several hundred dollars for it all. I refused and insisted that they cut it back to a reasonable amount, smooth the metal edges, and if possible put my original exhaust tip back on. They did as I asked, so I reluctantly paid for the work and left.This past week, I noticed that the muffler and exhaust pipe were hanging much lower to the ground than usual. It turns out that some of the welding material used to keep the components in place had snapped. Now my muffler is hanging 6-8 inches from the ground.I should have paid attention to the other reviews for the place at the time as well as the complaints others in the shop were making throughout the day.

I loved coming here and have been for years, but If I could leave 0 or negative stars I would. The technician left the oil cap off when he changed my oil on April 14th, causing oil to spill out and resulting in a fire which damaged my electrical wiring and many parts surrounding the oil reservoir. While Midas took responsibility, they made me pay for my own rental cars but misjudged the amount of damage and the time I needed the rental cars. They failed to keep me informed of what was going on with my vehicle unless I called or stopped by, which meant I had to miss work to catch them during the week, and each day I was told my vehicle would be ready the next day. I didn’t receive my vehicle until it was repaired by Nissan nearly three weeks later on May 3rd, and it was only when I told Nissan what actually happened with my vehicle that they were able to make the necessary repairs. I still have not been reimbursed for the $1100+ I paid in rental car fees that I should not have had to pay in the first place. This is going on week three since I submitted the receipts. Each time I have tried to follow up I have been given the runaround and told that my check would be ready the next day then given the same excuse for two weeks about the one person cutting checks being out on vacation or not knowing how to read the receipts to understand I need to be reimbursed, not the rental agencies. I was a loyal customer until this happened, but I will not use this company again. I just want my money back so we can all move on. I have tried to be patient and understanding, but this mistake has created unexpected expenses and additional stress for myself that I really could not afford and should not have been asked to take on. Maybe others will have better luck, but I would not wish this experience on anyone.

I cant say enough great things about this place! Blake is SO wonderful and goes above and beyond to get your repairs done. Andrew did a wonderful job on our car! It took way longer than anticipated because of an odd situation but Blake only charged us what he originally quoted even though they had to buy tons of different parts! I attempted to change a water pump on my honda odyssey. It ended up being more than I could handle so I towed my vehicle to midas on a Saturday. I called midas to tell them my van was coming and I wouldnt be able to pick it up the next Friday. I call the next friday and Im told they have been working on it and would call me back. I went up there to pay so my friend could pick it up. Im told that they havent done anything to it cause they didnt know anything about it. He also said they had been turning it on and pulling up to the bay (the serpentine belt wasnt on so thats a lie). So they keep it for another week and a half. After almost 2 and a half weeks I get my van back and i notice the check engine light. Then the van dies and wont start. I look underneath and see a rubber tube loosely hanging and leads to a newly installed part. So I called to enquire and was told they only worked on the timing belt/waterpump. I didnt install the piece and they are the only ones to service my van in over a year. Now my van wont start at all. I give a negative 5 star rating.

Mechanics did a good job.Con - they do not honor TV Midas deals (his excuse was that he is franchised, therefore not held to Midas’ deals), and they were not supplied with the synthetic blend (another offer) for my car. Seems a little ridiculous that they don’t carry 5w20 synthetic blend. Also tried to tell me stuff that didn’t comply with the owners manual. Seemed informative, but also pushing to sell. Mostly good experience. Manager and staff seem honest, reasonable. Fairly priced. Only one issue with my experience: I needed an oil change, so I stopped in one afternoon. But they were booked thru closing. They operate first-come-first-served. But manager offered that I could call ahead to put myself on the list. Several days later I did - and they could take me right away! But in the ten minutes it took me to get there, others came in and I still ended up waiting near an hour before they started mine. So, I would say might be difficult to get in & out quickly unless youre there when they open.

My car started running hot, went to Shell off Markham guy barely spoke to me wasnt helpful at all. Rushed over to Midas and at first he said a hour wait, i went to my car sad because i was on lunch and was going to have to call in for the rest of the day and call a tow truck. Handsome man behind the counter came out to help me and it was done in 5 mins and im back at work. He wouldnt let me pay him, i have tears in my eyes typing this. Ive had bad luck for a month but this guy MADE MY WEEK! Wish i wouldve gotten his name and number. Lol!

Had a horrible experience with this place. Got an oil change a week ago. Simple, but found a lot of black grease on door, inside of door and on my CLOTH seat. I had to clean it before i got in. Yesterday noticed by chance that the underside of my vehicle was hanging down. No telling how long it had dropped down. Took it back in and up on the rack. They failed to secure it the first time. Unfortunately the same mechanic worked on it again. When I got it back I had even MORE grease on my seat and door. The mechanic was informed by asst mgr (Aaron/Austin?) which pissed off the mechanic who treated me like I was a bother. He tried to clean my cloth seat with brake fluid! I told him to leave it alone and he stormed off. The mgr never left his office even tho he knew what was going on. The asst mgr was apologetic, but felt his hands were tied. I left in disgust then decided to call the mgr. Before I could state my full complaint he hung up on me. I called back and spoke to the asst mgr and gave him the brunt of my anger even tho he wasnt the one at fault. I did NOT want to speak to his mgr again. Instead I am posting this complaint everywhere I can think of plus informing all family, friends and coworkers to NEVER step foot in Midas Rodney Parham again...and believe me I have a lot of them. Some have mentioned they have had bad experiences already. Wow! wish I had known that!

Aaron got my radiator replaced super fast and even managed to get it done under parts warranty! He just went out of his way to make it as quick and painless for me and my 5 kiddos as possible and even helped us get to Bryant for the party! It was really over and above. Ive had fairly good experiences here. But I called to ask a simple question about if they did something. They did not and I asked if they knew anyone that can do that in the area. Now I get not advertising for competitors but its not really a competitor if its something you cant do. I felt like Bobby talked down to me when he suggested taking it to a dealership. He also a few months ago said to me you probably just ran over a nail or something when I brought the car in for a leaking tire due to a valve stem leak after they replaced all four of my tires. I dont think even after spending the 2 grand that I have with you that Ill ever bring it back to you again.

Took my mother’s car in to have it painted. We were told it would take up to 10 days, but not to worry it usually NEVER takes that long. It has now been over 12 business days not counting Saturdays, and we are still being told that they are having issues with getting the car stripped and painted.She dropped the car off on a Monday 3/18 and called on that Thursday 3/21. They hadn’t even started on it. She could have kept her car to get back and forth to work. Instead, she is paying money for rides to and from work. They could have called her when they were ready to begin the work, and she could have brought the car to them then.She was given a small discount on Friday 3/29, and was told on that the car would be ready on Monday 4/1 (April Fools Day lol). She couldn’t pick it up on Monday 4/1, Bc they were having issues stripping the roof. She was told to pick it up on today. It is Tuesday 4/2, and they are telling her that they are still having issues because they ran out of paint!!!This is very unprofessional, I could have painted the damn car myself. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!!!!

I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone, they are crooks. I paid for brakes and rotors in March. I called back to informed them they were still making noise. The front end manager Blake gave me some kind of BS excuse on the reason. I took it back up there, he stated they adjusted rotors and brush pads. They were still making a noise, I took my car back on 1/8/2020 they want to replace everything under warranty but charge me for labor. I honestly believe they never gave me new rotors back in March but I paid over $400, my sister mechanics said it doesnt look like they gave me new rotors because of the rust. I will be contacting their corporate office and BBB website.

Oil change has taken 4+ hours, brakes took 7-8 hours, checking CV axel/sway bar linkage took 2 days. On top of that, I dropped my car off on Friday for an oil change, have a sunroof looked at and a tune up. Come Monday, my car hadn’t been touched. When I asked the guy who ran the counter, Bobby, when it would be ready and what was going on.... I got nothing but pure disrespect, attitude and ultimately talked to like I was less than. An hour ish later, my car is magically done.... the oil was changed, but nothing else was touched. So it took Friday-Monday to do a simple oil change. This is literally the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced (time and management wise). I have trusted this shop time and time again because one of the managers was a friend, but after today I will never again waste my time with this shop!

Worst shop Ive ever been to. This place is a joke. I went in 13 days ago to see if they could tap weld a nut on a stripped fill hole on my 99 Tahoe. They guy sd yea we can do that, and had another employee pull it in. The guy raised on the lift and used a air hammer to break it free and then asked me if I had another fill plug to replace it, and asked me if I had 10 dollars cash for doing it. I didnt mind that but then the same guy who pulled it in (with no problem at all) broke the shift lever and the bracket that it bolts to, and acted like it wasnt his fault and that my truck is old. Now its been 14 days and corporate will not contact me back and the shop Manger told me if I bought the part, which is probably around 500 bucks, then he will fix it for free. The point is that it was not broke when I brought it to them and I left with more issues then when I came in

Worst experience ever! They replaced my alternator. I had an appointment and it still took them 4 hours to change it. Not even 5 days later my car did not want to start again. Took it to auto zone and they said that the alternator was bad again. Called Midas and they said they were going to have to call me back in 30 mins. An hour and a half later they still did not call me back and I had to call them back. When I called them they said that they still did not have information on the part. So we drove there which was a 30-40 min drive with no call back from them. When we pulled in there wasnt anyone in the waiting room 2 cars in the bay and he was in back. His excuse was that he was busy. That did not look busy to me. They pulled the car apart and said that the alternator was bad and so was the battery and was going to charge me to replace battery of $120. The batter was still under warranty so we went and got that replace for free. They advised me that they were not going to get the part that day but Wednesday. DID NOT LET ME KNOW I COULD TAKE MY CAR. So Wednesday rolls around and I dont get a call to let me know my car was done, so I called them. Nope we didnt get the part. Fine, shipping can be a pain some time, but they didnt even call me to let me know my car was not going to be available. Thursday rolls around, my husband has taken my car to work and I am stranded at home. I ask to get picked up so that I can get the car and they say no. He then informs me that I could have taken my car on Saturday if I wanted it and it would have only taken the 15 mins to put it together. COULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT SATURDAY!!! Then he told me that they are doing the work for free. I told him that the warranty says that I get it free. He told me no it did not, it only covers the part. So here is the Warranty Information on the paper. Midas International Corporation issues written warranties on mufflers, catalytic converters, shock absorbers, strut assemblies, strut cartridges, brake shoes and pads, and variable rating springs, The warranty terms for the products are stated on separate printed warrant certificates issued to you, together with the invoice, upon the purchase of the appropriate warranted product. The terms of all warranties are in the Midas Warranty Binder on display in each Midas location. All other products are workmanship are warranted for ninety (90) days from date of installation. There are no other warranties issued by Midas International Corporation. DONT USE MIDAS

SHOUT OUT TO AARON W. AT MIDAS ON RODNEY PARHAM. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ALL PARTS AND SERVICES AND THE OVERALL MAINTENANCE OF YOUR CAR. I CAME IN TO GET MY RESONATORS REMOVED FROM MY 14 DODGE CHARGER AND IT SOUNDED GREAT AFTERWARDS. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND NICE AND ANSWERED ALL THE QUESTIONS I HAD. I brought in my stainless steel performance exhaust from my supersport bike to have a couple of new O2 sensor bungs welded. Now, I wasnt expecting a fancy custom job or anything, but the person that did the welder wasnt that good. I could have done a better job if I had the equipment. First of all, they didnt do a good job in removing the stock O2 sensor. They tried to cut it with a blowtorch. It wasnt a clean cut. Instead, they just pushed the metal inward into the pipe. It blocked the O2 sensors, so I had to DIY the rest to clear it. Secondly, the weld marks was a circle of clumps. I had to ask them to grind it a bit to make it look a little better (big mistake). They grinded the hell out of my new stainless bungs and marked up my exhaust. And lastly, they charged me $50 for a crappy job that took 2 hours. My advise, take your bike exhaust to a real welder.

I made an appointment for 7:30 am that was never acknowledged. When I called to inquire why, they told me if I got my car there by 9 am they could have me pulled in within 15 minutes. I get there at 8:55. @ 10 am my car is still in the parking lot. I ask them whats the deal and they tell me Im next. 11:00 am my car is still in the parking lot. This is my first and last trip to midas. 11:35 We are now on our way to Pep Boys. Dropped off at Pep boys at Noon, done at 1:30.

Wish I could give zero stars my girlfriend took her car in for an oil change the person who did her oil change left her filter loose 5 minutes after her leaving her car breaks down now she needs a brand new engine very unexperienced and very rude do not recommend at all

Do not use them. They replaced my break pads and put the wrong size when i went to Firestone to change tires firestone told me that i have wrong break pads and that is why the squealing. I went to Midas they acknowledged their error and replaced these pads promising that squealing will go away within 3 days break squeal again. I went back and they said they will lubricate and clean pads no good still squeal i guess they are using cheap material. Also, while back i had engine light on and they told me to change Catalytic convertor which i paid them however the light came back again in six months. I had both front and back sensor on convertor changed too no use light is still on. Another mechanic told me that it seems they never changed the Cat Con but just charged me. Very unethical shop do not go to any Midas in fact.

Horrible service they charged me 300 dollars to change my spark plugs and on top of that they closed a wrench down under my hood and broke it when I noticed it they rushed out and semi fixed it never going there again
