Larry DeJohn and another young man came to my home to repair a leak. They immediately diagnosed my problem in about 20 seconds. They provided excellent professional service, which meant a lot to me. I have the HomeServ warranty for my water line and continued to have issues with my service line until it was suggested that I get it replaced completely.It was at this time I was placed with Intertech. Regarding the service line Intertech communicated when they would be there, they were always on time, and they fixed my service line perfectly.During the replacement of my service line they damaged my sprinklers. This was on 5/25/2021. It was at this time that Intertech became increasingly difficult to deal with. I was told someone would be out to fix my sprinkler that Friday or Monday. No one called or showed up. I ended up having to call them & they got me scheduled for 6/2. They came out and worked on the repair and found the damage was much worse than we knew & they’d call me to get something scheduled in the next couple of days . No one called AGAIN & I tracked them down to get something scheduled. They got the same guy out again and he was dismissive and irritable. He couldn’t figure out the problem and said they’d call me in a couple of days.That was 6/18/2021. As of this morning (6/24) I had not heard from them so I called, asked to speak to management, was placed on hold 9 min, & Andrew told me what they e told me for nearly a month…..management is looking into it. I’ve asked to speak to a manager for 3 weeks and no one has granted that.Take heed! The many other reviews are absolutely right….when they damage something they are slooooow to fix it.I’m happy to amend my review if I can have the courtesy of communication with a manager. The customer service and communication has just truly been awful.

Carl Blackshire fixed a few appliances at my house and did a great job! He was sent to repair my freezer but also took the initiative to tighten the handles on my refrigerator that he noticed were loose. He was very pleasant and professional and I could tell he enjoyed taking care of his customers and provided excellent service. Would definitely use this company again, Thanks Carl!

We called Intertech out to our home do to get a permit to in close a screened porch.. On the date of the building inspection we found out that the people we hired before didn’t acquire a permit to add ceiling fans or run any electricity to the lights on the add on. Intertech immediately found flaws that would have caused us to fail the electrical inspection . They got the proper permit for me. We ended up with beautiful work and very nice electricians that came to our home. We will definitely call upon them again.

Sonny Winger at Innertech is the best! He has repaired and totally saved appliances for us when we thought all hope was lost and we would have to totally replace them! Sonny is always on time, professional, and works efficiently! We cannot say enough positive things about Sonny and Innertech!

This company had my elderly father in distress due to their lack of professionalism. Inter Tech was contracted to repair gas leaks at his residence and gave him the runaround for 2 months! Each time he called them it was excuse after excuse as to why they hadn’t returned to do the work. It was only after a local tv station, Office of the Attorney General, as well as BBB got involved that they decided to get back with my father with a definite date and time they could begin the work. They finally started physical labor but...he is still without gas as of today!!! This is insane!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

They came early and handled my problem with quickness and ease

How come I can’t rate zero stars? Worst experience of my life.They never contacted me after I paid for the AHS SERVICE FEE. So a week later I contacted them. A guy came out and took a picture. Then nothing. No communication. Two weeks later I ask for an update.No response. Two more weeks go by and they send someone out who takes another picture. A week later I ask for an update. They say they’ll get back to me. For the next SIX WEEKS I ask for updates. Nothing. They finally come out to fix my leaky tub and guess what? They brought the wrong size items. They say hopefully they’ll have it the next day or so. Another week goes by and my home inspection fails, the homebuyer backed out because there was water in the crawl space under the tub they were supposed to fix. This is three months after I initially contacted them.So I go on Amazon and find out the special order part is $8 and I can get it the next day. So I order it, fix it myself, and spent two hours on hold with ahs fighting to get my service fee back. Ahs says they can’t refund because service was complete. No it was not. Two pictures and bringing the wrong size parts?????? Completely shocked. Disgusted.

Installed a new hot water heater with raw exposed pipes, running down the street side of our home. They just ignored the original stealth camouflaged, installation that was present, and drilled right thru the side of our home. The original install had the pipes protruding thru the crawl space vent. This is obnoxious, primitive, and poor workmanship. They must hire the lower qualified techs right out of plumbers college.

Tony is awesome! He came on time and was so professional and friendly. He went above and beyond to ensure all of my issues/concerns were addressed and took the time to answer all of my questions (and I asked a ton of questions). I placed a call for a blown water heater through a home warranty insurance. Time was critical. The technician evaluated the issue. He, his manager and office submitted the work request to the insurance company immediately after the evaluation. After staying late, the office gave me a call to confirm the submission to the insurance company. That was greatly appreciated as insurance companies can take their sweet time approving the request.

Great service! Extremely Professional!

My home warranty issued a Work Order to Intertech for a dripping faucet, a leaking sink, and most importantly to replace a water pressure gauge. I had to pay out of pocket nearly $300 to have them locate the water pressure gauge as it was not covered under warranty. They did not fix the dripping faucet, did not address leaking sink, and most importantly for the additional $300 I am out of pocket, there is no change in water pressure and they will not come back out to fix what they were paid to do. Its now a week later and it keeps getting worse. Theyve broken things that were fine. Theyve made the leak worse than it was. Its almost unreal and still no end in sight.

Technician was Matt Chaudoin, our water heater started leaking and we put in a request to our home warranty company. They sent Intertech out as usual. They were unable to get us an appointment this week so the dispatcher scheduled the appointment for next week. Once on the schedule she called the supervisor and told him what was doing on. He manipulated the schedule so that we could have an appointment yesterday. He even came out himself and worked to diagnose the problem and find a resolution. The water heater was ordered, warranty companies are slow a bit, and my new water heater will be installed first thing Monday morning. This is so indicative of this company, they will do everything that they can to take care of their customers. Matt was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. It is always a pleasure to work with this company because their staff are so great!

This company and their technician Chris Rachal went above and beyond to accommodate us. They worked with our schedule and the technician even made sure to give us his card and contact number in case we had any needs in the future. He took the time to walk me explain to me what he did to fix our issue and how I could prevent problems in the future. This employee is a great asset to the company.

I had a problem with a clogged sewer line and my warranty company sent out Chris Rachal, Master Plumbing Technician and Anthony. They arrived on time and worked continuously for the next 3.5 hours. They were both very professional, courteous and friendly. Both answered my questions and were knowledgeable and patient. They worked until my line was open and cautiously useable, until a quote is obtained from the warranty company.to complete the line repair / replacement. .

Chris and Chris came to my house to fix a leak I had somewhere behind my walls. It took a while for them to locate the leak because my house is pretty large, but they were committed to locating and fixing the problem. When they did find it, they fixed the leak then put everything back where it was before they got to it. They were respectful as far as social distancing and masking up and respectful of my house as far as not to bring mud from outside on their boots. Great service

Had an easy DIY problem that I jacked up, trying to replace a shower faucet in my daughters bathroom... rounded out the seat, which didnt seem like a big deal at the time, but turned out the new washer I installed failed after just a few weeks. Wife went postal on me, demanded I call the home warranty service to schedule a real plumber come out to fix the problem. Long story short, InterTech got involved, sent out Larry DeJohn - who is just the salt of the earth kind of guy, whos expertise allowed him to fix what would have otherwise been a extremely complicated & expensive repair. Hope hes still turning wrenches the next time were faced with a plumbing issue, cuz Im calling InterTech rather than trying to fix it myself!

My issue is with company policy. Employee did not fix shower properly. Later, I found quite a bit of mold damage in my garage. Had the mold treated assuming no one would work on the problem with mold being present and not knowing what caused it. After being misdiagnosed and 2 or 3 trips later they found the damage was caused by a previous repair and fixed the leak. Warranty company reimbursed my service fee, but Intertech only sent one of their techs to spray bleach and called that remediation. So now I have had a large opening in the garage for months that isn’t fixed (Intertech claims the warranty has to fix the drywall) and many calls, emails, texts and months later they came to the conclusion that they had no responsibility for the mold treatment.or drywall repair caused exclusively by their mistake. Mistakes happen...that’s not my issue. My concern is not taking responsibility for any damages caused. Had I not had the mold treated when I found it, the problem would have been exponentially worse.

The timer on my dryer went out and I was unable to dry my clothing. Called my home warranty company and Inter Tech was dispatched to my home on June 25. My husband was told that they had to get approval from my warranty company in order to get the repair approval. Was told it would take 48 hours- not 2 business days for the call in and we should be “squared away” by the end of the week at most.I called my warranty this afternoon and was told that the company hadn’t bothered to contact them yet. Called InterTech to find out where the disconnect was.Was advised by Tim (super nice guy) that when a tech comes to your home, they have to write up a report of what needs to be fixed then they submit the report to the lead tech who has to review/approve it and only then can the information be called into the warranty company. To add insult to injury it can take 3-5 BUSINESS days to receive the part once they get around to ordering it and then they have to schedule a time with you to come out and Make the repairs. I was told that they’re scheduling into late next week already- so I will likely be without a dryer until Mid-July sometime.I’d never tell a company how to handle their business, but this way seems bulky and inefficient. I’m irritated, inconvenienced. This company may work well when an individual calls, but they certainly don’t seem with the hassle if you’re with a warranty company.

My home issue was plumbing and prior to the technician, named Mr. Larry DeJohn coming out I had two technicians diagnose the problem assuming what they thought it was, yet days later after each one had observed the problem, but yet it still exist. Mr. Larry would show me what it could be and he stated after sharing my videos from Friday, August 28, 2020, that there was definitely a problem and that he wouldnt leave without finding it out!!! Mr. DeJohn, did just that. I am happy and satisfied as a woman can be because its frustrating when myself didnt have a clue, but I did know that I had a problem and he found it. I couldnt be more satisfied than I am right now!!! Thank you INTERTECH for have such a professional worker on your team, who obviously loves what he does!!! Hats off to Mr. Larry for a job well done!!!

Chris Rachal and Khris Surratt were very professional and easy to work with. I had a unknown leak occurring from my kitchen sink. Chris was efficient at locating one of the issues and making the repair. I recently had to call again because there is still a little bit of a leak and the company has promptly agreed to send a tech out at no additional cost to address the issue. I am very happy with the level of customer service from this company and hope they send Chris and Khris again because they seem to know what they are doing and how to pinpoint the issue.

I’ve had the worst customer service experience ever with this company. My trash compactor went out back in April and it’s still not fixed. They came out last Tuesday to work on it again and still couldn’t fix it. They have scratched up my cabinets . Now they will not respond to voicemails, text, or emails. They say on the recording that they will get back to you within 24 hours. I started trying to contact them last Tuesday. It’s been almost a week and I’ve heard nothing from them. Definitely would not recommend them. On one of the service calls I took off work to wait on them for a 10 am appointment by 11 they still hadn’t shown up so I called and they told me their service guy didn’t show up for work . Did they call me to let me know...no they didn’t. I could go on and on but you get the picture.

I had to use this “company” 2 times... because the home warranty is working with them (american home shield)So the first repair was on the dishwasher... it took 3 months to have it repaired..... 2 wrong diagnosis and finally a good one... that repaired the dishwasher...Then... i had issues with my faucet... the technicien came and he literally said i dont have the right tool to do the job ( an allen key)... so he needs to come back later to finish it.... in the meantime they need to ask permission from the homw warranty company because they did not perform any job!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!!!Do not use this company! Unless you like seeing unprofessional people performing the job....I can also add he raised the voice on me.... UNACCEPTABLE!

I had a garbage disposal not working and a facet clogged up. Plumbing Technicians Chris Rachal and Chris (didnt get his last name) arrived promptly. They were comfortable to talk to and prepared for the job. They completed the work effectively in a short amount of time. They ended up installing a new disposal and showed me all the ways to maintain the maintenance. I feel they went above and beyond and did an excellant job

I had a leak, my warranty company contacted Intertech Company, Bob the technician arrive early(on time) he was very concerned and knowledgeable. Bob was able to fix the problem. Intertech was assigned to repair my washing machine after the pump gave out. They were extremely courteous, both on the phone and in person, in all our interactions. Jimmy (scheduler) and Buddy (technician) were prompt and considerate. Jimmy went above and beyond to work my service order in and get my washer back up and running, while Buddy was willing to come out after normal business hours to do the repair. The ordering time for parts was very reasonable, and it means a lot to have a company that understands how important your time is. Well done.

My warranty company assigned Intertech to service my water heater. The company made it work. Power was not getting to the newly replaced element so they sent out an electrician, Matt, to repair what started out as a plumbing call. I really appreciate the customer service because if I would’ve had to call my warranty company again they would’ve charged me another service fee. Intertech’s only concern was to take care of my problems. I will definitely ask for them if I have any other problems. Intertech is an amazing company. I had a company come out and we had to pay a service charge. After the company looked at the leak they said they couldn’t do anything. My warranty company then sent Intertech and Jerry showed up the same day. He found the leak and fixed it for me. From the conversation with Jim, who was very courteous, to Jerry repairing the pipe was a great way to handle business. No headaches and no more leaky pipes. Thank you Intertech.

They were sent by American Home Shield to fix my Icemaker. They fixed the same issue four times and failed. Then I got someone else to fix it for me.After that I had problems with my refrigerator not cooling. Since I have AHS they put in a work order with them again. It’s been 8 months & 4 visits the issue keeps coming back.I don’t think some of their technicians are trained well and know what they are doing. Trying to fix the same issue multiple times is unacceptable. If you can’t fix it, let us or AHS know.

My warranty company assigned Intertech to work on the plumbing issues at my home. The company scheduled in a timely manner and the plumber Bob fixed my faucets and stopped the leaking. He also repaired my shower handles and tub, which was not on my work order but called his boss and they worked it in for me. Wonderful company and will recommend them to all of my friends.

Intertech came out to work on my dishwasher, after the first repair it started messing up again. I called them and the guy who answered the phone, Jim was very nice although he wasn’t exactly sure how my situation would be handled. He asked his manager, Matt, to call me and he did rather quickly. He had the guy come back to my home and take care of my dishwasher. I’m glad he did so promptly so I would not have to make a call to my warranty company again and go through the hassle. Thank you intertech for being so prompt and courteous.

Kevin is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in determining the next steps for my dying water heater. He took the time to listen to my concerns, directly address my questions, and carefully document every single element in order for the replacement process to begin. He was genuinely concerned about my issue and assured me of the next steps. I know you always hear when something goes wrong, but in this instance, it went completely right. I had bought a house and all of the plumbing was needing to be removed and arranged differently in my home, because we were remodeling and enlarging our bathroom and moving the laundry room and Kitchen. We had a Very nice gentleman show up and he has stayed with our job to get this completed so I would be ready for the next phase of my remodeling adventure. I would recommend this company to my best friends and have. They have been very polite and the person on the phone has been so helpful working with me and my crazy schedule. Great company. Jery made my garbage disposal work and showed me how to make it work. Very smart plumber who went the extra mile instead of just fixing it and leaving. He showed me how I could maybe fix it in the future. If I have any more problems I’ll ask for him every time. Excellent job.

Tony fixed my power in my garage. He took care of it on the same day I called into my warranty company. He was very nice and polite. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Carl Blackshire diagnosed an ongoing problem with my refrigerator that was easily fixed. I appreciate his advice so I can keep my fridge from overheating in the future.

We were assigned to them by the warranty company and Im so glad for it. The tech came out in a Friday evening (of a holiday weekend too!) because he wanted to see how much he could get done for us right away. The office did a good job keeping us posted on the repairs and expectations. And the technicians were excellent. Showed up on time, courteous, very conscientious of taking shoes off every time they walked in from outside, and worked quickly to get our new unit installed before the rain started. We were very pleased and highly recommend.

I had a VERY GOOD experience with the service technician that came to my home. His name is Mr. Kevin Rhodes and I could not have been more pleased with him. He arrived early and was extremely polite and professional. He replaced my leaking garbage disposal and even took time to provide me with maintenance tips on how to prolong the life of my new disposal. If the rest of Intertechs technicians are anything like Mr. Rhodes, I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. This company has been assigned to me through my warranty company for multiple problems. Plumbing, electrical, and my washer. I’ve never had an issue with this company. My warranty company let some stuff fall through the cracks and took a while to send my parts for my washer. I ask for Intertech any time I have a problem. Great company.

We were given this company through AHS ...NEVER AGAIN will I let them give me Intertech Maintenance to fix ANY of our issues! The issue wasn’t covered via warranty so we were pressured to give payment in order to fix issue before warranty company had even given me a call.....due to Intertech not providing diagnostic report to them even after several appts that had to be rescheduled several times & the issue has still not been resolved. I’ve reached out to company several times to get report sent to warranty company but I was told from OM Veronica that report will b sent after all visits were documented etc (so after 3 visits warranty company still haven’t received anything) on today...even though the first appt was completed on last week? Hmmm...but payment was needed ASAP in order to proceed?...so there’s $255 down the drain & again toilet still not fixed & y??? Oh bc the warranty company has to authorize the next steps to proceed ...which God knows when that would be...due to having to wait on Intertech to send the warranty company the report from last week! Veronica didn’t seem too concerned but just gave her apologies as her title as office manager saying that she understands but I just didn’t have that feeling that she even cared. Oh maybe it’s bc they’re short handed as she informed only working with 2 workers instead of 4 for the jobs to get done. If that’s the case, I really wish they wouldn’t have taken the job order to save them some time/workers as well as to save me $255. Again...NEVER AGAIN will I use them for anything, thanks Intertech...I sure hope that our $255 helped ur company for an unresolved job! Such an unhappy customer : (
