Wheatstack is a solid restaurant. Lovely views over the golf course, nice atmosphere, good food. Kudos to our waitress last time we were there, obviously working her tail off. I guess everyone is understaffed these days.

The building and grounds were beautiful. There’s a nice outdoor patio, indoor dining room, and a bar area. Super spacious and all very updated/recently remodeled. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The food was subpar and the cost of a soft drink was $3.00 - a little steep in my opinion. Dinner for two without ordering alcohol was $65.

Only had the cheese curds and some glasses of wine, but what a great place!

My friend and I had a wonderful lunch this afternoon at this restaurant. My quesadilla was delicious and so was the avocado salad. The service was excellent The View was breathtaking and I could not have enjoyed it more

We are regulars here, and the service is more consistent (consistently great) than most restaurants coming out of COVID. The food is great, atmosphere is great, overall a great place to eat, drink and hang out!

Checked it out as it was touted as the best burger in Lisle. It was pretty good, but nothing super special.

I am a local Lisle resident. Have been to the restaurant numerous times. First time back since covid. I had a really decent meal. The breaded chicken breast was really good. They advertised seasonal vegetable but they were frozen! Dont really get that! Seasonal and frozen? Makes no sense! Anyway, wanted to get fresh vegetables. It was asparagus but was a $2.00 upchage. Dont get that either! Had a Cosmo! Very good but would have been a ten if it had a curl of lemon in it! Details make all the difference! For ten bucks though, I could overlook the lemon curl. Would be nice though!! Here is the deal breaker! On the menu, it had some dish entitled Exwife! What is that all about? Did not have a dish entitled Exhusband! Was really turned off but ordered and had my meal. Service was good. My waiter was very good! Left a good cash tip!! Spoke to the hostess at the end of my meal and the owner, maybe manager, overheard my conversation about the exwife dish. He said he did it because he thought it was funny! Being an exwife is never funny! We had a conversation! I shared my thoughts! Where is the Exhusband dish? He continued to say he though it was funny and had no intention of taking it off the menu! Well, not that you care, but i have no interest in returning!!! No wonder you are divorced ! No understanding, no empathy and a chauvinistic attitude about divorce and the true effects it has on people! It is NOT funny! You obviously are still holding a grudge. Let go of it and move on!!!! Women and exwives, please speak to the manager about this entry. It is sexist and NOT funny!!!!

We went here for the first time last weekend. We had to wait about an hour because of a wedding in the main dining room. It was worth the wait. They provided free appetizers and paid for our cocktails when we got seated. Food and service was great. It is my new favorite restaurant.

The food was excellent the service was even better. Found out that they have an Easter buffet brunch and a Mothers Day buffet brunch. I cant wait to try a brunch!!

Poor Service & Value - No silverware on table, no appetizer plates when ordering an appetizer. No bread at table and were charging $0.50 for a roll. The all you can eat special is now different pricing and no longer an all you can eat option. The fish fry was good though.

Brunch with Santa was amazing! Santa was fun and patient and still jolly on last day latest seating🎅! Todd and Kim were beyond great with our changes!! Food was hot and tasty. Thanks again for a great experience!!

As usual wheatstack comes through with a great meal for mothers day. Glad you guys reopened. we ordered the pot roast dinner for 4. I would order this again next week for dinner.

Love this place. Half price burgers on Monday and they have never disappointed. Their brunch with Santa during the winter is also a blast that all kids love. The wait staff is very in tune with what you need, sometimes even before you know! If I could give it more stars I would. Ive been coming here for years and dont plan on stopping anytime soon.

The chopped salad was very tasty and a huge portion. We went early, but around 6:30 it started to fill up. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the patio is wonderful.

Great place. Went here for a company Christmas party. Food was fantastic and the service was great. All of the staff were very professional. Overall appearance was nice. Parking lot was a little small but not ridiculous.

This restaurant is amazing! It is easily missed if you are not looking for it. It is situated against the backdrop of a golf course. I enjoyed the blue cheese salad with a chocolate martini made perfectly. My husband tried the fish fry as it was Friday night and he raved about how fresh the fish was. The server was very friendly and we had an amazing experience. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant when we are in the Naperville/Lisle area again.

This spot is worth visiting. They serve large portions for fair rates. Regularly clean and with awesome vibes. Would recommend to others.

Bartender was slammed tonight but was able to keep up with the craziness and make us still feel welcome. Only eaten here once after 9 Holes at River Bend but I might make it a normal tradition. Food was fantastic and a cold beer after golf is a win win

Always reliable for great food & service. In nice weather, the deck overlooking the golf course is a lovely place to eat. Menu has a nice variety of selections and price points. Good beer menu too. The Monday 1/2 price Steakburger special is fabulous... really good, substantial burger with house-made chips at McDonalds prices.

I like Wheatstack, however did the fish fry on Friday and it was a little disappointing. Everything would have been great, but we apparently were served already cooked fish that was refried to heat up, no way was it cooked to order. They brought our meals out before we even had our ice tea on the table. Salad that was supposed to come first, came out last. Literally 90 seconds after ordering it was on the table. Fish was greasy, yet dry, fries were cold and chewy. In any attempt at fairness, they had some event in the dining room, they were crowded and we had to sit in the bar. Still, no excuse for serving us precooked fish that was probably meant for the big party we werent part of. If I go back, Ill make sure to ask for freshly cooked food.

A very average restaurant. Standard service, standard food. Salads, burgers, pasta, beef & chicken entrees. Nothing exciting or excellent about it, but nothing bad either. Very mediocre. Not enough parking.

We had a great server where we sat outside for lunch on the deck, where she recommended 1/2 price bottles of wine. Good call. The Asian Chicken Salad was deeeeelish! And my mates burger was awesome!

Food was great had the tuna melt with mac and cheese for a side tuna was seasoned very well and not a lot of mayo but still moist mac and cheese was great also very cheesy. Wife and a slider mix of pulled pork and sloppy joe both were great her side was tater tots cant go wrong over all a great lunch would go back for sure

Went here with the better half for a drink after dinner .Sat out on the outdoor balcony as the sun was going down. View (and breeze) was enjoyable.Ample room in the restaurant...not too crowded, and there were enough wait staff around so that we didnt wait long. Prices were *very* reasonable, and will update the review when we eat here next.

Sat on a huge deck with a great view of the Golf coarse. Christie was our Waitress and was fantastic. Id recommend them anytime.

Nice cozy place and the manager checks on customers also. The only thing they they may be able to change is that they supposedly have good beef stew but you cant get a cup of it, only as a full entree.

Food needs improvement.. for a golf club restaurant, you would expect better quality. Always short on help so service can be slow. Management seems out of touch or just doesnt care enough. And for God sake.. replace that nasty carpet!

Great food and has a nice patio that overlooks the 9 hole golf course. The staff is friendly but sometimes it seems like they do not have enough wait staff on hand, as there may be a wait to order your food or get your check. Have been back multiple times and highly recommended.

I have been going here for several years. The comfort food (wings, appetizers, sandwiches) are at the high-end of quality and choice. (corned beef is pulled fresh from brisket as an example). But would you be surprised if the seared ahi tuna easily matched the best seafood restaurant nearby? The burgers at least match the very best I have ever had at all the famous burger places. Even the Saturday night Prime Rib, was absolutely fantastic even compared the prime rib places. I dont right reviews but the food is just that diverse and that good. And the view.....and away from crowds...great.

I come alone, and Lisa behind the bar is always so welcoming and keeps me from feeling like Im alone. Food is good, they make their own chips, and the specials are always worth the trip. Great neighborhood spot!

Went for lunch during the off season for the golf course so nice and quiet. Not sure yet how it is in the summer.

Always come for the fish fry and never go home disappointed. This year I tried the pepper and egg sandwich and it was fantastic. Atmosphere is always lively.
