I called Ron about creating a video to honor my parents birthdays. The project involved using old VHS tapes which were quite lengthy, and then blending shorter segments of the tapes together. Our family had old family albums done by one of the Grandmas. These 4 albums traced the family back to the 1700s. The albums had early photographs, Grandmas handwritten notes and stories that gave us historical information. When my mother was 16, she had a Sunday evening program on KWBE radio in Beatrice, Ne. She sang songs that were request by mail and some of them were recorded on records. After finding my mothers records from 1949 that had been in a basement wrapped in newspaper for over 50 years I wanted to have them put on a CD for her and the rest of the family to hear. The records were 78s and were very badly scratched. I was on a limited time schedule as my mom was not expected to live very much longer. Ron came to my rescue and promptly and masterfully put these records on a CD. They sounded beautiful and my mom got to hear her 16 year old self singing on the KWBE radio station one last time.
