I have been I long time customer and never thought that Dr Duffy didn’t care I understand he is busy for all his customers and feel great that he teaches others and like that atmosphere they are always curious about you with fresh interest. He would pop in on those needed occasions. I truly did have a doctor that didn’t care before and that’s not Doctor Duffy. It’s hard to find a good doctor but when you do you keep him and I have so I don’t understand the low stars. I will keep Doctor Duffy as my doctor.

Everything was going great. Then I noticed no one had called for my telehealth appointments in a while. When I called they said I missed 3 appointments when I went to 2 of them and was never notified of the 3rd. They wont call me back to discuss getting rid of the faulty account charges for missing said appointments and wont let me talk to my Drs. Until they get the money they falsely want. They are abusing and using people with mental illnesses.

I have received excellent service from Dr. Duffy and all the staff at Alivation. They care and listen. A close family member has had care including therapy at Alivation for years and is doing great. The staff are in this business to help others work through depression, anxiety and other mental illnesses. Many of the low star ratings could come from people who want magic cures but unfortunately mental illness doesn’t work that way. One has to work with their team to find what works for them. And even then your body chemistry and external circumstances change. It’s a life long illness but can be managed so one can live a normal life. Grateful to have found Dr. Duffy and his staff. They’ve helped my family and I deal with anxiety and depression more than any other care center. They won’t give up on you.

This is how my visit went...I filled out a questionnaire about my A.D.D. I have also been having some slight anger flare ups lately that I wanted to get under control (there mostly due to being impatient). I met with a Dr. (will call them Chris from here out) was weighed and with introduction pleasantries out of the way, we briefly (5 minutes) discussed ( I guess I shouldnt call it a discussion, because a discussion is a two way conversation, where in this setting, I was doing all the talking as Chris silently nodded their head) why I was there, and what was my overall objective with treatment (control my flare ups and to have stewardship of my focus). Wholly expecting a consultation and scheduled psychotherapy, you can imagine my consternation when Chris prescribed Alprazolam (Xanax) and Dextroamp (Adderall).Im always willing to give people/companys a second chance, I agreed for another visit a month out, hoping this was just an initial visit and psychotherapy will be included in the follow up.I followed through on my obligation, but to my dismay Chris didnt remember me, Chris litterally thought I was a patient of another Dr. that was on vacation. He prescribed me the same as before after consulting his computer and sent me on my way,still not realizing I was his patient( Yes, it was awkward, and within the 5 min. I didnt see an opportunity to politely tell Chris Im their patient) $200 less (cost per visit) and 5 min lost.Alas, I awarded Alivation Health with 1 star, if you happened to be a 21 year old college student with finals, need a pick me up and a mood booster, your rating might be higher due to the effortless accesability of a schedule 2 controlled substance. But for me, I see it as a pill dispensary (they have a pharmacy where you can get your meds, convenient yes, profitable with the way they hand out drugs..most definitely) and their not necessarily there to offer life time help in the form of psychotherapy.

We were traveling and needed a prescription refill. Alivation staff was very helpful in contacting our home pharmacy and getting refills very quickly. Amazing customer service

After a cheek swab for genetic testing, to find what medications actually worked for me, and a course of TMS, I feel like I have my life back. End mental health stigma and get the right help. I promise you, it is worth it.The staff are so kind and the clinicians are so knowledgeable. You will find answers and help. The journey to mental wellness is not an easy one but they will help you each step of the way.

Please I beg you if you love your children do not take them here.Spoke with GM Will and he was rude and offensive and had decided I was wrong before talking to me. I have my receipts, phone records, voice-mail left EVERYTHING to prove my side and he wouldnt even hear it or look at it.My daughter could have been hurt by the negligence so he doesnt want to admit it, but I can PROVE it.This place is a joke do not waste your time or your money trying to get medical care here they will write prescriptions and not follow up and not return your phone calls and then tell you its because you did something wrong. They have no bedside manner no compassion and no skills in the area of autistic children.

Life changing experience! My life before getting TMS and Ketamine treatments, was a life filled with anxiety and depression, which i have been struggling with since i was a teenager. But thanks to the amazing TMS technicians, i was able to complete my treatments and am now on a more hopeful path in life. Highly recommend.

I gave them a 1 star only for the primary care aspect of that clinic. The mental health part upstairs tho is amazing and Ive been with this medical facility as a pt for over 10yrs. But their primary care doctors and nurses downstairs are horrible.. they dont listen to the patient they even go as far as hanging up on patients without even trying to call them back. The nurse even lied on her chart notes about the whole hanging up on me. Needless to say their primary care staff and doctors really made me feel discriminated and made me lose a sense of dignity. I would never recommend their primary care clinic to anyone. But thats not to say for upstairs cause their mental health doctors are great tho just not primary care

Over the past six years since losing my nine-year-old son in a tragic accident, Ive seen a lot of medical professionals, each trying, to the best of their ability, to ease my pain and bring me hope. Using the tools available to them, I improved, a bit...After experiencing yet another difficult loss recently, I felt completely hopeless. I had no clue where to turn. Thankfully, I was introduced to Alivation, and their INCREDIBLE collaborative team. To keep a very long story short, let me just fast forward a few months...Alivation has tools and treatment options that are cutting edge. I dont believe anyone in our area offers anything even close. Not to mention, their process of collaboration with your medical team produces results unlike anything Ive ever experienced, or could have even hoped for.Ive had NO depressive symptoms in months, and instead of feeling sorry for myself about losing my son, I now feel inspired to honor him. Alivation saved my life. It took awhile 6-8 months but Dr Duffy and his staff got myself on the right medications and off the wrong ones. Night and day difference for myself. So grateful for the staff at Alivation

This place is a joke. They only care about the almighty dollar and herd you through like cattle. We were late for 1 appointment and they wouldnt see my husband because they only allow 15 minutes for your appointment. We drove 2 hours for this appointment and ran into slow traffic on the interstate and made a wrong turn in Lincoln. My husband has always felt rushed and unable to ask questions. The Dr. Told him that my insurance would only pay for 15 minute sessions and that he had to see 90 patients a day. I guess hes working 22 hours a day. If you are that busy maybe you need to stop taking new patients or add another provider to your staff. We are very dissatisfied and will be taking our business somewhere that actually cares about their patients.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Someone close to me was a patient here a while ago. After they had tried to take their own life and were admitted into the hospital Alivation would not see them until a month later. And when this appointment finally did come around the doctor didn’t even come in to talk to them. All they did was up the dosage of their prescription and kept doing this until the person was completely non functional and sleeping all day and night. I agree with the other reviews that this place is nothing but a prescription factory. And when we called to complain we were told that we were “holding up the line”. This is extremely insensitive to say to people calling about medical concerns and unprofessional. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. This place will only make your mental health worse. It’s no wonder Alivation has such a low rating on Google.

This place makes things so convenient to get health care! Pharmacy is right there and they will mail your prescriptions and have online appointments

After just a few visits, I can safely say that if you want to be kept waiting via telehealth, pay an outrageous amount for Smoking Cessation Counseling that literally consists of someone walking in and telling you smoking is bad for your health, while appreciating a nice 1 million dollar building, Dr. Duffy is the way to go.If his services are not covered by your insurance, or partially covered as mine is, you will pay out the nose for 1 hour meeting a month. Also, before receiving a prescription refill, they INSIST you come in for an appointment. It doesnt matter how long youve been taking the medication, you WILL have to pay for a full appointment in order for them to issue a refill. Kinda detrimental for mental health patients, but they need to make a quick buck. They would rather see you go without medication than forgo their $300 appointment fee.In addition, a telehealth appointment online will cost you the same as a regular appointment. But they will keep you waiting as long as they want. (In my case, 45+ minutes.)Suffice to say, there are better options. CHI tends to offer much more comprehensive mental health services at a far more reasonable price. In addition, they understand that as a patient, making sure you are able to access medication quickly. Say youve been taking Celexa for 20 years. Why do you need an appointment to make sure you get your Celexa? Logically, a good and reasonable physician would issue a prescription WITHOUT dragging you into the office, or making you wait endlessly for a telehealth appointment.I cannot recommend enough against this business, or their practices. But hey, theyve gotta pay for that fancy new building, right?

I got scheduled with a provider that I had previously complained about her being incredibly rude to me. The provider Kerry is very rude. We had a telehealth appointment for my son so I had the screen on him since it’s his appointment. She rattled off his medicine and asked if that was right and I said yes. Which then she tells me she can’t hear me because she can’t see me on the screen. I get on the screen and say I said yes and then she cops an attitude with me because she says I am being rude to her. All I did was answer her question. And then she proceeds to hang up on me! Then conveniently no supervisor was available to talk to me and did not call me back. My sons appointment never got finished. This provider was also very rude to my sister. She is a horrible provider, rude, pushy and VERY VERY unprofessional.

Wow I would just like to say how kind and friendly the staff is especially the young woman I spoke with over the phone Damari she was kind and understanding over the phone when setting up my appointment she was extremely patient with me since I was a Tad bit scattered that morning she was patient and delightful she give me clear-cut directions and answered all my questions that morning. I finally got to meet her the other day when I came to the office for my appointment and may I say shes an extremely delightful in person and very professional but still sweet she made me feel like I was not just a another patient but a real person that the whole staff really cared about, I would highly recommend this office to anyone its hard to find staff so comforting during this hard time but it makes a world of difference when you have someone like her delivering great customer service thank you Damari for being such a doll not just on the phone but in person you make the difference and thank you to the staff at alivation health you are appreciated.

The staff at Alivation have repeatedly gone above and beyond to help me with any issues I’ve had. Their healthcare staff is sympathetic and understanding to whatever problem you’re facing. In addition, I feel like I’m spoken to like a grown up. As a mature, but young lady, I’ve had so many negative experiences of healthcare professionals talking down to me and ignoring my feedback regarding side effects and discomfort. The staff at Alivation listen to their patients and jump through hoops to make your healthcare experience comfortable and effective.

This is by far the best place in the midwest for your mental health. I have been going here for 5 years and i dont plan to stop anytime soon! The doctor and therapist really do care about you and will go above and beyond for you. If you are struggling this is the right place for you. They will work with you and help you out all you have to do is ask!If I could give you a million stars I would.

I personally like going to Alivation. I would recommend Dr. Duffy; as he remembers who you are, and what you take. He does have an assistant or student PA or NP interview you before he comes in to see you, but they seem genuinely concerned about how you are doing and your progress. They listen to everything you have issues with and address it with Dr. Duffy so he can go over it with you. He doesnt play around with your medicines too much; he will keep you on the same regimen if it is working good for you, which I like. Ive been to other doctors before finding Dr. Duffy who want to wean me off of this or that, and put me on something else. Like everything is all wrong; and Im like, but everything is WORKING though!The only complaint I have is the follow-ups are monthly, which are (I think) way too frequent. And if you run out of medicine, they WILL NOT refill ANYTHING unless you come in for an appointment with SOMEONE. Even if your appointment is 2 days away, they wont prescribe you 2-3 pills to get you till then...they make you come in. Its a little ridiculous. But overall, I will continue going to Alivation for my Psych care.

Just had my first aesthetics procedure done at Alivation today. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Grant took his time answering my questions and was very knowledgeable about the equipment and the procedure. I had a warm sculpt done and it was a first for me. Grant was personable throughout the process and always made sure I was comfortable. I had a great experience all around and would recommend Alivation for any of their many services!

This place is a prescription factory. Out of my 3 visits here I wasnt able to speak to anyone for more than 30 seconds total. Its a few basic questions, and they write you a prescription. How can you possibly try to prescribe medication to me without any actual information?I believe many of the staff here are good people but I question that anyone near the top has an ounce of empathy for their patients.

I have seen many psychiatric professionals in multiple states over the past five years, including private practice, military, and VA providers. Without a doubt, my experience at Alivation Health was the worst mental healthcare treatment I have ever received.Dr. Knutson’s questions and tone throughout the initial intake appointment were antagonistic, condescending, and belittling. The staff as a whole seemed totally consumed with “upselling” their in-house pharmacy, PCMs, and experimental procedures.I would strongly recommend being seen anywhere else.

Tried to switch PA, they wouldnt let me. Soon after they dropped me as a patient, and failed to send me with the last month of my important medication. Do not go here unless you want to be demoralized and treated like a dog. You are not a test subject, go get some real help from real professionals please!

I had my first aesthetics procedure today with Jayme. From the moment I got there she made me feel comfortable and welcome. She explained everything thoroughly and was sure I was comfortable through my procedures. Will definitely be back!

They were expensive, yes, but they help people deal with brain injuries, difficult cases of mental and physical struggles associated with heart trauma, and a host of other illnesses that I could not have recovered from without their specific niche in medicine. Especially Brain recovery and helping me work with my service animal. They didnt care that she was a cat, they were just glad I was bringing her. On the other hand, now I have to ask for scholarship, and I am better. I dont have the cat, and I am saving up to buy my own place again. Thats the yin and the yang of being in a car accident....

Had my first laser hair removal treatment with Jayme today. I was so impressed with her bedside manner and professionalism. She was constantly aware of my comfort and made adjustments accordingly. She was knowledgeable and was sure to inform me of all the equipment used and processes. If youre thinking about having any type of aesthetic services done, this is definitely the place to go!

I dont feel like they really care about me at all.Every time I go in its so new PA student and the same on a scale from 1 to 10 question, then a 30 second conversion with my doctor about the same basic questions I just told the PA student. Then your on you way. It feels really impersonal and more like a training program for students then a doctors office.Dont get me wrong the students are nice. I would just like to have more consensus with who im talking to ever appoment so I dont have to tell some new person ever 4 weeks about wanting to kill myself.

Ive been treated by Dr. Duffy for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. No medications or treatments were ever forced on me. Yes, my medication was changed numerous times but that was due to the fact they just stopped working for me. TMS saved my life. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Duffy and the staff at Alivation Health.

Front desk receptionist Melissa makes me experience at alivation terrible. Only have had two interactions with her and it has made me consider going to a different doctors office. My recommendation, avoid her if you can. Would be a 5 five star review if she wasn’t there.

The staff has been friendly and patient with me. I’ve had a year long recovery and I’m amazed with the DNA technology that Dr Duffy could prescribe the medication that best works with my body chemistry. I feel better than I have in my entire life and I’m 41.

My son has been seen here in primary care and i would recommend to anyone wanting good quality care and wanting to get all appointments done in one day! They have behavioral health, pharmacy on site and primary care and always adding new technology. It was so convenient when my son had strep to get added on the same morning they fit us in and then we were able to run upstairs and grab his medications all in the same place! We have seen a couple of the primary care doctors and they all did amazing and gave the best care!

I am writing this note for you if you are searching this page for help. You are doing the same thing that I did few months ago. Youre probably like me. I was confused, unhappy, felt pain in my stomach, just wanted to be alone not knowing what I wanted to do, and worried for my future, until I decided to get help. I searched and found Dr. Duffy. The moment I entered the office, from the way that the receptionist treated me, I knew I was in the right place. If you want to see light at the end of the tunnel, if you want become the person that you want to be, if you want your pain and anxiety to leave you and find happiness again, Dr. Duffy and his wonderful staff will provide you excellent treatment. They utilize state-of-the art equipment and programs, and thanks to them, I have happiness in my life again. I am living my normal life with good friends and family around me. I love myself. Do it, dont be afraid to take the first step to get help. The most important part is your commitment to finish the program, if you just come for a few times it may not work. In that case, don’t blame the doctor and treatment, and also don’t blame yourself, because not being able to finish your treatment is part of your illness. Push yourself and finish the whole treatment. You will be OK again. God bless you.

I love this place!!! Dr Duffy and his staff are incredible. From basic medication all the way to TMS, they do it all. If medication is not your thing, they have plenty of other options to take care of your needs. Definitely recommend Alivation Health!!!

Look out folks! The people at Alivation are hungry for one thing: MONEY! For your first appointment, they’ll tell you to plan on it taking 2-3 hours. Only half of this time is taken up by the provider getting your health history and prescribing meds. The other half is spent with the billing department wading your way through the constant flood of sales pitches. They’ll charge you ungodly amounts for anything and everything they can. They’ll force you to use their pharmacy. They’ll bounce you from provider to provider (often due to the high turnover rate) and act as though this is common practice. That’s because it is - to them. Now, I know they’ll probably leave their response down below. Just know, it’s another one of their MANY sales pitches based on BS they claim is federal law.

I went to Alivation as they were the only psychiatric care in my area that I knew of. Being new to mental health care and its providers I felt like they did a great job at first. They got me started on some medications that once started could not be stopped with out a weening period or there would be adverse effects. The meds worked so I wasnt going to complain. I just had to do a med check once every three months to get my prescriptions refilled and that fit my work, Family and social schedule very well. When Covid came around Alivation no longer allowed me to be seen every three months instead they forced me to be seen every four weeks and held my medication refills as hostage as they will not allow a refill with out charging me for an office visit or a telehealth visit. My healthcare no longer felt optional or voluntary. I feel that Alivation is shamefully using the epidemic to force a money grab on a lot of their patients by scheduling them against their will far more frequently then they need to be scheduled and holding medications as their leverage to get extra appointments. This is not a situation I enjoy being in and its not a situation that I ever thought I would be in. I would recommend if you can, take your business elsewhere where your healthcare can be more voluntary and cooperative

Ive been going for a few months now and my health has improved more than I can say. The staff is exceptional and really make you feel comfortable.

Ive been coming to this facility for almost 4 years. Since the change to Alivation Health, you can see the growng that the company is taking, the strides they are making and the lives they are changing. My son and I owe so much positive change to this facility. The pharmacy is incredible, they work with you and your insurance company directly, making sure you get what you need. The gals in the check in desk upstairs are some of the best parts of it as well. You will always have a loyal patient in me! Keep it up!

Despite all the rumors and the bad reviews that have gone on about alivation health they dont know me because they dont know how well I know dr. Duffy Ive been a patient of his for almost 9 years now and I trust dr. Duffy with the fullest extent of his practice because he knows me better than any of his other patients Im easy to open up to and Im easy to talk about these things dr. A lot of reviews say the doctors push tests, medications, and other expensive procedures on them. They gave me ZERO pressure when I declined some of the suggested options for me.All the staff Ive encountered are super friendly and caring, wanting you to get the best treatment they can provide.And the people saying its a business, not a health care clinic. If you dont like it, you dont have to keep going there. Thats why we have options.

This is the worst drug dealer in town.My wife has had nothing but awful experiences going to this place over the last several years. The only reason she continues to go is that she needs to get her medication.1. There is a revolving door of (typically rude, disinterested, condescending) psychiatrists. She rarely (if every) sees the same psychiatrist multiple times in a row. There is no patient rapport that is developed and no individualized patient care. The entire purpose is to get patients in and out as quickly as possible so they can continue to make money.2. Despite not changing her medication plan and her overall mental health improving, they have gone from requiring her to come in every 6 months to every 3 months and now every 8 weeks. They have also started requiring her to have (expensive) EEG scans every 6 months. I can only assume that this is all in an effort to squeeze every last dime out of our pockets.Look, if you need drugs, you can come here and they will prescribe them to you, but do not come here under the pretense that you will be receiving legitimate health care. This is just a really expensive drug dealer.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. I am a military spouse and we recently moved to the area. This place is all about the money NOT about caring for patients. The staff is rude, not helpful, and extremely unreasonable. I got my lab results and they asked me to come in and discuss them. This made me incredibly anxious and worried. I get to my appointment and am told everything is fine and the results look great.I asked for a referral to a dermatologist. I explained I have seen one my entire life. My grandfather and mother have had melanoma and I have had several moles removed that tested negative for skin cancer. I was told I didn’t need a dermatologist and they could monitor my skin. They don’t care about patients or their needs. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!!

Excellent care at every appointment! This center has the medical equipment and resources needed to thoroughly diagnose and accurately treat various types of mental health conditions. I had serious issues with other places playing “the guessing game” with my medications, but with attentive evaluation, DNA and EEG testing, clear diagnoses and medication treatment was easy. Both my daughter and I are grateful for the always polite staff members and knowledgeable physicians. 😊

Dr. Duffy has helped me, to live life in a positive and confident state. I am looking forward to continue on this path and attain my goals.

Im not sure who is writing the 5* reviews, because the average review of this practice has magically gone from 1.5 to 3* average in just 2 months. Im here to tell the truth. This practice is about money and ONLY money. They hold you hostage for your medication. They give you enough only to make it to the day of your next appt. They take 3 days to have a nurse return phone calls. They try to sell you brain stimulation like youre buying a used car. If they werent the only game in town for ketamine, Id leave now. But Im holding out in hopes of being better. Ive shown proof of financial hardship, but Im way far away from a price I could afford. Ill leave this place as soon as I can... if Im still alive.

When I went in needing help for my depression and anxiety, I was placed on multiple medications without a real explanation of why. I wasn’t myself. No one made eye contact with me on follow up visits. It took almost a year to get off the medications Dr. Duffy places me on without medical necessity.

Really impartial, a neurologist I visited thought the eegs they do are useless, so that is an opinion I found interesting. Big facility - patients are more like numbers based on my visiting experience, however, the constantly changing staff is generally very kind. From the medical/science research perspective I am not qualified to give an opinion, they could be awesome.

Can you give a minus score?This place will destroy you.They push tests then dont even use results Of the test when prescribing medications.Your provider will change more often than your moods.They will charge you for offices visits to provide you with your own medical records.They will spend more time arguing with you than protecting other clients files.I strongly suggest you check the credibility of the staff. Check often because the staff is always changing. You will not be warned about the changes so people with anxiety should SEEK HELP ELSE WHERE.everyone who cares about themselves should SEEK HELP ELSE WHERE!!!!SAVE YOURSELF!

I struggled with depression for years and Dr. Duffy has been wonderful. He’s taken the time to explain options and alternatives if I didn’t like a suggestion.To everyone who complains about additional services they offer, just say you’re not interested. They don’t force them on you.I’m not sure how people can blame doctors for side effects. Everyone reacts to medicine differently. If something doesn’t work, the team at Alivation will continue to work with you until you’re where you want to be.Of course you have to go in every several months, even if you’ve been taking the same prescription for a long time. They have to check in if they’re going to be able to renew it.The front desk staff can be difficult to work with and I don’t know about the office that merged with Premier Psychiatric but I can say with absolute certainty that Dr. Duffy looks out for his patients and you will be taken care of you are a patient. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The staff and doctors I have visited with have been professional and very helpful.

Best psychiatric office Ive been to. The visits dont take too long so I can just come in before work (works great with my schedule). They offer a lot of newer methods (DNA swab, TMS/EMT) and Im very excited to be a part of it :)

I’m a huge fan!! Everything for our entire family’s basic medical needs all in one place. When we first brought our oldest daughter in while she wasn’t feeling well, the team recognized right away that our situation was bordering becoming quite serious. Instead of holding us and wasting time, the team chose to reach out to a specialist immediately. That doctor recommended for us to go to the ER. Upon arrival, our pre-teen child had a resting heart rate in excess of 200 bpm!!! Basically, by really taking her health seriously & acting quickly, we were already at the hospital when the attack took place. A HUGE thank you to The Alivation Team!!!

When I told my personal physician that I was feeling discombobulated she quickly pointed me towards Alivation Health, where I could 1) hook up with a therapist and a doctor of psychiatry, 2) have a DNA test performed which will be used to determine the best medications for the issues I am experiencing, and 3) perform an EEG which will tell me how my brain is functioning. Brilliant! I immediately set up an appointment. The lobby is beautiful, the receptionists are awesome and I cant say enough about my therapist. She and I immediately clicked and it goes without saying it is the same with the entire staff. I have been a patient for a little over a month and I am well on my way to being the best ME ever. Getting the right medication, talking through personal issues and defining the weaknesses in brain functionality has made a world of difference in MY world. I am truly happy now and not just putting on a happy face. And as Lizzo sings, If IM shinin, EVERYBODY gonna SHINE!

Corporate Healthcare at its worst.My primary care physician of 20+ years closed his private practice to merge into this monstrosity. He was the best physician I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately, the corporate culture of this mega-cash craving facility ruined everything I loved about Family Practice Specialists. Live persons helping you became a clunky and frustrating automated phone tree. When I asked my Dr. about some of the policies, I was told that he had no control over them and that I needed to complain to someone else within the organization. Uh...so my personal physician no longer makes the decisions about my care? Correct. I would be subjected to cookie-cutter decisions that may or may not be in my best interest. No thank you. I found a new physician who has staff that is available to me via phone without having to press a bunch of numbers and jump through hoops.I was sad about leaving the care of my physician because he was so good and his wife was always nice to me when wed see each other. Unfortunately, bigger is not better. This merger and the fact that he was not making all the decisions for my care ruined my trust in his new organization.

Best experience I have had....and I have been to a lot of doctors. The staff is so helpful and Dr. Duffy takes his time to explain treatment options and your progress. I have been very impressed. Their intergrated health model treats the whole person. I have had great results with my Med management and TMS treatment. Its worth a try.

This office has moved. I made an appointment yesterday for 8:00 this morning and was never informed the office had relocated. There is no sign at the current location notating the office has moved. After searching online, I finally found a new address. By the time I would be able to get to the new location, I would be 15 minutes late. I was on the phone with reception as I was headed to the new location and I was informed they can no longer see me and I need to reschedule. Im a working mother of 4 and rearranging my morning schedule is not easy! This is a huge inconvenience and the office was less than willing to accommodate me at all. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service. All of this for an issue that is already resolved that I only need a referral for due to insurance.

Staff are friendly and very helpful. The Drs and all professional staff kept working with me until they found something that worked.

Being a person that sometimes MAY take longer in my personal appointments than I do at other times... seeing all these complaints in the google reviews about getting in on time, really bothers me.... because getting in a bit late ONLY shows me how much they are WILLING to work with their patients, rather than rush them in and out abruptly.The nurses and doctors I have worked with this far, have been attentive, empathetic and LISTEN TO what I have to say, instead of just throwing medications at me and expecting an overnight change...They have understood the adjustment to new medications AND have helped me by explaining to my workplace HOW these adjustments may take time, BUT that in the long run, could mean a much better place for me overall and enable me to get back to my old self.As frustrating as it is for me to go through these changes at a slower pace than I wish it would take - the staff HAS taken the time to listen to me, and been VERY understanding and NOT made me feel worse...only helped to give me a better and brighter outlook on the future and GENUINELY ARE concerned about my well being and what I am going through, and are trying their best to help me get to a manageable point in the nearest possible future

Since Family Practice merged with Premier Psychiatric and became Alivation it has lost its family feeling. I still like my family doctor and PAs but the rest of the office is horrible to work with. I was never a fan of Premier and now they have ruined my experience with the doctor I have had for years. I wish the merge had never happened. You are now just a number and profit center for them.

I can not stress enough DO NOT GO HERE. i went because my friends suggested it for my mental health , and despite the pricey “dna testing” to decide what medication was best, we all were prescribed the same highly addictive antidepressant. after years of paying RIDICULOUS prices for monthly visits (2hrs or waiting and then being asked a few questions and being sent on our way), we expressed that i had been stable and we could no longer afford the monthly visits. they then told us if we paid for a THOUSAND dollar brain scan they would start pushing the appointments back, otherwise they would not give us my medication. they get you addicted and then hold you hostage for your money. i know numberous people who we’re put on wrong medication and now are addicted. THEY PRESCRIBE KETAMINE FOR GODS SAKE. even as a minor, they sent a bill to my address after months of leaving the establishment. i only saw dr. duffy one time in my whole experience, which was on my first day of treatment. they push pricey “testing” on you, but only ever prescribe you with addictive and unnecessary medications. even put my friend on appetite suppressants after telling her she had a binge eating issue. i hope all the staff gets out before this place tanks. this is not a healthcare facility, it’s a business. i would bet most of this is borderline illegal.

Their only priority is profit . . . not the patients welfare, and they will go out of their way to make an extra buck however they can. This place is a factory, and Dr. Duffy will up-sell you on all sorts of state-of-the-art brain scans and swab tests (theyll even charge you $50 to put a swab in an envelope and send it), and the results are worthless. The smartest decision I ever made was getting my child OUT of this office. Just wish I had done it sooner. Moved my daughter to a professional who actually treated her the old-fashioned way: took time to actually talk and build a rapport with her. Far better results! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do yourself a favor, and look elsewhere for your psychiatric care!

I have had more success with Alivation than any other treatment providers. The atmosphere is positive, and they have been very sensitive to me and my needs.

Love the staff there all really nice when your having a bad day and you come here they make you feel better the front deck ladys the drs and the ladys who do the medicine

I initially started seeing the doctors at Alivation about 3 years ago, because they were the only clinic anywhere near me who accepted my insurance and were accepting new patients. I live in Omaha and have been traveling to Lincoln for doctors visits every one to two months. After every visit, I would immediately pick up my medications from their pharmacy located in their lobby. Everything had been fine up until a few months ago. I got a new insurance policy, did not understand all of it, which is my fault. However, Alivation had been overcharging me for my visits! Instead of offering me a check, they offered to let me use the money I had already paid towards future visits. Life happens, people make mistakes, so I went along with it. Last month I went in for a visit only to find out whomever I had spoken with in scheduling HAD NOT SCHEDULED MY APPOINTMENT. Instead of trying to squeeze me in, when all I needed was a doctors visit to refill my medications, Alivation turned me away. Luckily for me, I had refills at the pharmacy, so I didnt have to go through withdrawals. Also, Im pretty sure its illegal to have refills of Adderall, but thats another story. I scheduled another appointment and was unable to go, because Im a poor college student who works and my work schedule did not allow for it. I called today to schedule another appointment and was told that because I didnt make my last appointment, I was not allowed to schedule an appointment, I would need to come in during their walk-in hours. I was told, ...this policy is in place to help with accountability. Ive missed a few appointments within the last few years, but not enough to warrant this. What is Alivation doing to combat their own lack of accountability in regards to overcharging me and turning away a sick client because of poor scheduling practice? THE ANSWER IS NOTHING. In conclusion, this place has gone downhill as of 2018. I thought Alivation was worthy of my money and time, but I was wrong. I am going to find a psychiatrist in Omaha and be done with this. I am also really confused as to why a doctors office would have such poor customer service. I have worked in customer service driven fields, some of which only paid minimum wage, and I would never treat people this way. Also, is it not counter productive to be rude to the mentally ill? Two thumbs down.

THERE ARE OTHER PLACES THANKFULLY.. DONT GET CAUGHT IN THE ALIVATION GAME.. ALL ABOUT OFFICE VISITS AND SEEM TO HAVE HARD TIME KEEPING THE SAME STAFF, NEVER SAW THE SAME DOCTOR/PA.. VERY DISAPPOINTING IN THE END!!!

After 7 months of visits I quit going . Most of my appointments consisted of them pushing another medication on me .Their slogan is Next Level youAfter 7 months I didnt take a single step forward , much less to another level!!! After leaving I Contacted Dr. Duffy several times via email about my frustrations of not getting any better , and not a single response back from him nor his staff .Dont come here.

My family has been with Family Practice every since we had our last two kids, 14 years ago now. They were wonderful then! Now since they’ve merged with Alivation Health EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE! I decided to sign up for the medical portal and noticed they had WRONG medical history on my son! Ugh! How do you mess this up. And they are pocket robbers with suggesting my son to have an EEG when he only had 1 symptom of a concussion, which was a very minor one... $1000 later, my son is just fine, he’s passed every test at school! But they still want to put him on this $800 machine! This place is terrible!!!

When Family Practice moved into Alivation Health, their quality of service and care went down dramatically. Now, all they want is to charge you more and more money. My son has been treated there since he was born preemie, and now I couldnt even call to verify dosage of a supplement he was already recommended without being told I would have to pay for an appointment to get that information. And God forbid you shed a tear because you feel like no one is actually listening to you (the complaint I had at that time was later correctly diagnosed by a different doctors office), because then all they want to do is refer you upstairs to mental health. Just got done transferring my entire family out of there. To be fair, there are a couple of nurses there that were always fantastic to my kids, so that part was usually pleasant.

I have always found Dr Duffy and his staff to be very attentive to my needs. They always remember my face and I am always treated with dignity and respect. Dr Duffy is an amazing doctor, always up on current treatments and medications. I’ve noticed recently in the media talk about a new therapy for depression, which Dr Duffy has been offering for atleast 4 years. I recommend him highly to anyone who is struggling with mental health issues. I came to him in a very dark time and he saved my life. Can’t say enough good things!

One star gives them far more credit than they deserve. Nothing was accomplished, they pushed these procedures on me when they even said they weren’t necessary. So I get pushed off to these sales people that explain the cost. I didn’t want to decide right then and there, so I get a follow up appointment for 2 weeks later. Follow up on...??? This Grant guy that deals with insurance or billing or something has sleazeball written all over his face. He told me that they can easily just do the procedures and send me the bill without ever telling me what it’s gonna cost. We’re talking like 1500$. That’s a big deal. Trying to pressure someone that’s already in a fragile state of mind into making a big money decision on the spot. I got up and said I wasn’t coming back and he just shrugged and said OK like I didn’t even matter. This is a healthcare facility, but they don’t care about my health at all. Money is the bottom line to these clowns. At least I learned all this in one visit.

We should appreciate life and each other more than we do these days...

Saddened to have to switch doctors due to a lack of respect that the people in billing have for patients. The lack of empathy the front office has is also trash. I do not reccomend Alivation. Family practice specialist lost the family feel after the merge.

This place is unbelievable!! I’ve gone to Premier Psychiatric Group for many years and they were life savers!! And now that Alivation is here it’s really gone downhill fast. All the good helpful providers have all moved elsewhere. The switch you from Dr to Dr constantly. They never return your calls. They push you to do tests that make no difference in your care either way. They kept pushing me to pay the $50 copay to do the genetic testing so I finally did. Thinking reading and learning the results would be neat but they don’t even tell you the results other than say “ya, your on the rights meds”. So don’t waste you time and $$. The EEG’ s they try to tell you to get a new one every 6 months for what??!! More ways to waste $ The only thing I learned from that was that I have had a concussion before. If your really seeking help with Depression/Bipolar/Anxiety I would definitely look elsewhere.

Great place ! Great idea too putting all your basic health care needs in one building...mental health on main floor with pharmacy and your general health doctors etc on the bottom floor. Handicap accessible with an elevator and very friendly and helpful staff. They have a great team of people that are very intelligent . I have read other reviews and have heard what it was like when it was called premiere psych. But I myself have been looking for five years now for a good doctor that has more up to date knowledge of things and a great bedside manner and I finally found that at Alivation. As we all know anything medical is expensive but this place gives you the option to try the newest of meds testing etc it does not mean you have to all you have to do is say no or you cannot afford it they understand . And yes it takes a while to find the right medicines to work for you and even then it might be a life long search and they know when you should be checked for other underlying medical conditions . Its all a process they are intelligent and innovative not all knowing . And I agree the pharmacy is a little overworked it needs to be bigger and more staff as it has gained so many more customers since it started. I love the staff there too .

Same experience as a lot of the other reviews regarding degraded quality of care after the facility became Alivation Health. In my opinion, the nefarious tactics that these individuals utilize to maximize their insurance recoverables is incredibly negligent. If youre serious about your health I suggest looking elsewhere for treatment, as these practitioners are merely concerned with financial gain.

Alivation health provides exceptional care in every department. They work hard to make the entire experience about the patient. From billing, scheduling, to working with your insurance company, it is clear that they work hard to provide you with the best care.They provide flexible scheduling and have a great pharmacy who is great at finding discounts for different meds!They truly are a patient’s advocate.

Long horror story..Just after a bit watch for up sales..D.N.A. & all the other NEW stuff they are doing & trying! Dont make a decision that day & think about it! Just ask to make sure who you are seeing & their job description. May have problems like me with getting your medications from your pharmacy but they have one now!! Hope you the best & good luck! We love Alivation Health. Beginning with the front desk staff, Jamie has gone above and beyond in her service to my family at the roughest of times. Kudos to you, Jamie! Next, I study traumatic brain injury and embrace the book, Change your brain, change your life by Daniel Amen, MD, (read it) so it makes perfect sense to me to have an EEG done in order to discern what is happening in the brain-which directly impacts mood and behavior! Especially since two of my children have been in significant car accidents and have had serious head blows. We hear alot about TBI and brain injuries, but what is being done about it? In my view, Alivation is finally doing something about it with their EEGs. In a perfect world the EEG would be a standard treatment! I also study DNA information and nutrition , so once more, I fully support the DNA assessment offered at Alivation to understand which meds work the best. We are all unique individuals and there is no cookie cutter answer, so thank you Alivation and Dr. Duffy for being on the cutting edge and forefront, of helping the world and decreasing human suffering in Nebraska! We have been treated with unconditional positive regard by Dr. Duffy and All of the Alivation Health.

If I could leave a review without a star I would. These people are CROOKS. I used to love going to see dr. Weiss before his whole staff got fired and wouldnt help me with my problems. Not to mention the fact that I was getting billed for the psych services and paying for that instead of just seeing a dr. Check your accounts people! Youve been overcharged guaranteed and Ive been fighting this bs for over a year now. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

They can hardly ever get things right went in for appointment to get kids pills refilled and the only called in 2 out of 6 and so i left a voicemail needing all refills and went to pharmacy for them to only have 1 more filled. Whats funny was they even increased a pill and it wasnt sent to the pharmacy to fill. Every time i or the school calls them its like a week before we get a response back
