This Veterinarian may be OK for general service, but in emergency situations, they fail. My personal experience with Sterling Point was heartbreaking. My Boston died when she could have been saved. If its an emergency, the only two reputable clinics are Atlantic Veterinarian clinic or Loomis. Theres a big difference out there. I should know, I have 5 of them...

My family and I had to put our sweet Diva down a few weeks ago. We met Dr. Ann for the first time and she was very kind and thorough. The ENTIRE staff was friendly and super attentive the last few days of Diva’s life. They helped us make our tremendously difficult decision go as smooth as it could. They were so kind to our family. We are truly so thankful for their honesty, care, compassion and over all service during that time.

My family has been going to Sterling Pointe vet clinic for about seven years. Dr Anne and her Staff have been respectful and kind, SO Knowledgeable and compassionate. We have had 2 Labs, a ShihTzu, and 2 cats. Now we have a new Shih Tzu puppy. Her skills and knowledge saved our puppies life. We are grateful that she knew what to do and was diligent that we followed her instructions. She loves what she does and treats everyone as if they are a good friend. I hope we have many more years at Sterling Pointe vet clinic withDr Anne.

What a wonderful caring group of people! I took my dog in because she was coughing! It was raining. They came out to the car to get her. In the meantime I waited in the car. When she came back out I went to start my car. The battery was not responding. So two of the wonderful workers came out and were able to jumpstart it for me! They were fabulous and I am forever grateful!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Sterling Point Veterinary Clinic . Dr Christina was AWSOME !! My dog had a large mass removed from his chest. He was a rescue from the streets of Lincoln and He was very scared to go to the Vet. She took her time to bond with him and make him feel safe. No rushing .no muzzle.I can’t say enough about the entire experience. I am so grateful to the entire staff for all their caring and kindness. Will recommend to all my pet loving friends!

As a physician myself, I hope my review will have some additional weight. We dropped our dog off to have a foxtail removed out of her foot. We waited 6 hrs. We called when we didnt hear from them and they told us that they were working on her and they would be done soon. Two hours later, we went to pick her up and they said they still had not started on her foot. They asked we go home again and they would call us. To summarize, the whole ordeal was 9 hours to remove a foxtail out of the foot. They had poor communication, they were unprofessional with their false information, they are not reliable, and were not responsive. We have no idea how our dog faired during that whole 9 hrs. Was she given water or chance to go to the bathroom? What I expected was :1- An accurate time for pickup2- No lies. If you havent started on her, dont say you did when you didnt3- Updates. Give us updates rather than wait for us to call to see if she is okay, especially if you are going to keep our dog so long.4- Be respectful of peoples time and a dogs time. We had a scheduled appointment specifically to treat her foxtail. Dont hold a dog hostage for 9 hours when they had a specific scheduled appointment.I do not recommend this place. TNC, M.D.

I took my dog in about 3 weeks agoI thought the service was inadequate at bestIve had a lot of animals over the years and typically do not like most vets just because its like going to either the dentist where they charge too much or want you to buy more or its like going to the mortuary where they play on your feelings to get more money out of you these guys are best of both worlds. They try and get you to pay for acupuncture on a dog thats 12 yrs old not to be cold hearted but I deal in reality most dogs that are 12 yrs old have one foot in the grave and to take money from the public when the vet should just be honest and say there is nothing we can do I rather deal with that than deal with an animal that is suffering.

It was our first time there we just loved it. Everyone was super nice and very helpful. The Dr is wonderful and everyone treats your doggy so sweet. I would highly recommend this veterinary to my friends and family, I was very pleased. My son said it reminded him of going to his pediatrics but dogs get treats instead of lolly pops. Great place😊

Our fur baby had to have his leg amputated and the entire office comforted us, answered my million questions (Even repeats) and were patient and kind with us. They took care of our fur baby with more love and compassion than I ever expected. They truly went WAY above and beyond anything I ever expected when helping us care for our little Larry Cat. So thankful for everyone there!

Dr. Ann is great. She is very compassionate and caring. We had to give up our 4yr old Yorkshire Terrier for adoption and Dr. Ann assisted us throughout the process. She performed a thorough check up and gave him all the necessary shots. I cant thank her and her staff enough for finding a good home for our little guy.

Definitely recommend getting a second or third opinion on any serious surgery or procedures. Sterling seemed fine for exams and little things, but when we were faced with an injury they told us there was only one option surgery for about 6k or amputate 3k. That all dogs are born with an extra leg, and it would be dog abuse to do nothing. My husband was ready to put our 6 month old puppy down until we sent the xrays to two other vets. Both confirmed a cast would more than suffice and Sterling was incorrect to state that surgery was the only option and would never recommend amputation in that situation. We were beyond shocked that Sterling had led us to believe the opposite and tried to have us schedule the surgery for the following day!!!Thank goodness for second opinions. I felt I owed it to the community to share our dogs story, because it truly saved his life, and could possibly save yours! And our puppy has since fully recovered to 100% for less than 1k!!!

Thank you, Dr. Ann and staff!!!! My cats blood tests came back quite bad and I thought Oh man, thats it. My cats 18 and shes doomed. But Doc Ann was very logical and methodical, so we did all the tests I could afford and found that kitty is quite treatable, without terrible invasive methods, and can maybe be happy for another couple years! So, heres to trying and hoping. Special diet and maybe one pill a day will carry her for a while at the ripe old age. YAY!Now, if I can only get my cat to accept a carrier again, but I doubt that will happen. One surgery elsewhere years ago happened, and ever since, my cat freaks like a wild animal last time I tried to put her in a hard carrier. Youd have to see it to believe it. So I carried her into the vet in my arms and the group was very patient with that. Since my cat Mystic behaves like a lap dog, Ill look into a softer means of carrying her for her following checkups, maybe even a dog purse, LoL. GREAT WORK from the Sterling Vet! Thanks again :)

This last Friday October 7th 2016, my dog Sampson snorted up a fox tail, my regular vet was closed so I looked up the closest vet to me that was still open and it happened to be Sterling Pointe Veterinary Clinic. I called them hoping, but doubting, theyd take him seeing that they closed in like 15mins, but they did. The whole staff was very kind the whole time. Sampson is already nervous about the vet on a normal day so you can imagine being there and having a foxtail up his nose, but they stayed very patient with him. They never once made us feel rushed, even though at this point they were technically closed. The whole staff was just amazing. They even went as far as to call the next day to see how Sampson was doing. This is definitely an amzing vet clinic, with a staff that genuinely cares.

I have been taking my Shih Tzu girls to Dr. Ann at Sterling Pointe for many years, and I wouldnt take them anywhere else. She has helped so much with my oldest, who will be 13, as she has seen her through 2 cancer surgeries, as well as several seizure issues. I know for fact that without Dr. Ann and her fabulous staff, Angel would no longer be with me. She was also there when a year ago I had to unexpectedly put down my 14 year old Shih Tzu, Panda. I was so attached to her, but she was more than my vet, she was a friend who helped me get through it. Now I know she and all of her staff (who are also so very wonderful by the way) will be there for my 2 younger Shih Tzus. Its such a relief to be able to trust and rely on my vet and her staff to care for my pets who mean the world to me. Thank you so much Dr. Ann and all of her staff, including the new doctors she now has working with her.

Can I give negative stars? We had an emergency with our dog and when we showed up, they said they were double booked and couldnt even look at her. By the time we got to Loomis Basin, our little girl had died. Terrible and unforgivable, will never take another pet there again.
