Such caring wonderful souls!! They’re so pleasant and accommodating. Tate did a wonderful job making me feel totally at ease during such a difficult time, I really learned a lot also, very comforted by the fact that a lot families grieve differently and he shared some of his experiences which really made me feel better about the actions of our family, Not everyone shows they’re best selves through this process, but that’s pretty much the fact that it’s not something people want to face. “Just remember the reason for going through this its forthe “Loved One” that has passed. “Just do your best and everything will be OK.”

As a Trustee, I am sometimes called upon to assist with end of life planning for a client. Ropers has always been a wonderful partner - their staff go above and beyond to ensure the details of the plan are carried out with great sensitivity and care. Our family has also utilized their services and received the same thoughtful care and concern during a season of life that can be very hard.

The staff at Roper and Sons were very helpful in planning the funeral service for my husband. They listen to what you would like to have done and they also made some suggestions that were very helpful. They took time with you to plan the service and did not rush you along. Most things went very smoothly since the funeral was pre-planned some years ago. The thing I was most disappointed in was having visitation in a room that was only separated by a thin curtain from a funeral that was taking place. This seemed to be poor planning. We should have been advised of the situation in advance and given the opportunity to change the date/time. I am mentioning this because I would not like to see that happen to other families. It really was very disturbing for us as it probably was for those attending the funeral. The folders also had misprints and had to be redone, but I blame myself for not looking the draft over more carefully. I do prefer Ropers because of the kind and caring staff. They did a good job in spite of the complications from the weather and the pandemic. Thank you!

My sisters and I had to come to Lincoln for our fathers death. Obviously, it was a trying time, but we wanted a small ceremony and a military tribute to our father. Tom and Molly at Roper & Sons made sure we had everything we needed and helped us prepare the service and all the documentation we needed to achieve a suitable tribute to our father. Many thanks to them and the local VFW for making dads service something we could take with us in our hearts and one he would have appreciated.

Roper and Sons funeral home assisted our family with a recent death. Justin handled the details as the funeral was pre planned. Due to the current health guidelines the burial was modified. A recording of the service was provided to the family. We appreciated the sensitivity and professionalism given to our family during this difficult time.

Living in California, it was difficult when my father in law who was living in Lincoln passed away. We reached out to Roper & Sons and went over our wishes and options. His mother is buried in Southern California and we wanted to bring his remains back to have him placed with his mom. They took care of everything for us so we could focus on the task of cleaning out his apartment in the few short days we were able to be there. They made a very difficult situation as easy as possible and we are truly grateful for all of their help.

The personal attention my family received From the frount desk, funeral director and Tony was amazing. These people went above and beyond to not just help with the arrangements for my husband but for my emotional well being as well.My circumstances were not the best and without the guidance and compassion I received Im not sure what I would have done.Tony provided the service for my husbands cremation. My 2 daughters and I were able to be presant to say our goodbyes . Tony was compassionate and was able to provide my daughters and myself with closure. He went above and beyond. The funeral home as a whole went above and beyond. My husbands death was very unexpected so it was a huge financial hit.. still owing a few hundred dollars these great people allowed me to bring my husband home for christmas. I will forever be grateful for this act of compassion and kindness.

Thankfully my family has not had the need to use funeral services in the last several years, but I have attended services at Roper & Sons on many occasions. Their facilities are beautiful and the services are conducted with dignity and respect. I have been very impressed with the business of Roper & Sons. In addition to offering beautiful facilities and services, the company conducts many worthwhile educational events that benefit the entire community.
