This post office always loses your mail/packages somehow. I left two packages with the mail carrier and tracking said it never arrived at the post office. I sell things so I have to rely on them. spoke to the supervisor three times different days, she said she would start a search on them and call me but she never did. had to refund my buyers and lost out on hundreds of dollars. theyre so unreliable. another day, I sent out an envelope to someone and they never received it...its been weeks. dropping things off here is more like gambling.
2 MONTHS AGO I DELIVERED ENVELOPE to this office WITH PAID PRIORITY EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE, INSURED! which should be delivered within 3-5 business days to europe. This envelope NEVER LEFT THIS OFFICE . NEVER!!! Staff is unexperienced. Girl didnt know what to do with it at all.When I noticed week later that NOTHING HAS BEEN SENT OUT, I came back. Clerk told me, without checking anything - WE DID OUR JOB. Tracking number said - SCANNED, thats it. Envelope cost me $70 but inside was very important notarized document which I needed.NOBODY CARE AT THAT OFFICE! NOBODY! Two months later, after filling CLAIM, after calling 3 times to international claim department, I have no envelope, I have NO MONEY and TRACKING NUMBER IS ERASED, CLAIM NUMBER ERASED, NO PROOF I DID ANYTHING.USPS PEOPLE - YOU SCREWED ME VERY WELL, HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY!I BELIEVE, NOBODY WILL CARE ABOUT THIS POST EITHER !
I understand that the 2 women working up front have probably been working for usps for 50 years but that doesnt give you the right to just sit their on your phone while there is a long line of customers. Also, just because you have job security, doesnt mean you have the right to be rude to your customers.
I have had mails wrongly put in my mailbox many times and if that happens to somebody elses mail, I am 100% confident mine had been misplaced in somebody elses box too. A few months ago, my package was updated as delivered in my mailbox but there was nothing in my box. The delivery person has either stolen my package or put it in the wrong box. Its frustrating that no matter what the reviews say, USPS is not going to take any actions and just keep letting these jokers at the Lilburn Post Office keep doing what they have been doing. If I could I would give negative stars for this lousy service.

Came for a Passport Appointment at 11:45 came in the door at 11:30. Waited in line until 11:57 because they were super slow. Finally saw that I needed to feel out a passport paper-work slip that would have took 5 minutes to do. And the 2 women in the front one with a braided bun and one with blonde hair with red lipstick . Stated that we would have to reschedule. So I asked why can’t I just fill it out here. And their words were you are supposed to have that done before you come I stated in my confirmation I was never told to print anything out to fill out or bring in . Mind you they were already slow was not on time with appointments and your telling me I can’t fill out paper work that takes 5 minutes when they were already late and not on time . Also mind you I’m getting told to reschedule like it’s a lot of days open to book for. Something that could have been so simply completed got brushed away because they are slow rude and can’t handle their line.

I am doing so based on this Post Office location now having a new Postmaster, who seems to be a sincere person and is doing what she can to turn this place around. Im sure everybody living in the 30047 zip code is hoping for her success.(Previous review) -Only one star because zero stars is not an option...These types of problems have been persisting for years, but my most recent bad experiences compelled me to write this review. It is also worth noting the reviews the 30047 location has received on Google and Yelp. I don.t normally look at either one to further form an opinion about a Post Office , but did so recently. I was not surprised at both the sheer number of low scores and almost uniformly negative comments posted. These are remarkable in that this represents only the people who have taken the time to post negative reviews. I am certain that many others, after a bad experience, simply stay away as much as possible or silently fume at the dismal performance of employees at the Lilburn Post Office.Based upon (mainly) my personal experience and what I have read online, the 30047 Post Office apparently has a sick culture and poor leadership that tolerates substandard, disinterested and rude employees. They are so horrible its even conceivable that this wretched behavior is being actively encouraged - that would explain what is happening there. Its amazing - this Post Office location is the worst. It is completely broken, and nobody in the USPS cares to do anything to improve it.USPS upper management needs to make some drastic changes at this location, or It will never turn around and the online scores will continue to bottom out.
This post office is discusting 🤬 there are only 2 clerks working at 5:00pm one is not even servicing customers on the line she is constantly doing other mail and labeling boxes not even acknowledging customers waiting for over 20 minutes online. Please do something about this, either get at least 3 people working at the station or train them better for customer service people have other things to do rather than stand online for long periods of time. Its like this everytime I come, no matter what time it is. I hate this post office.
The postal workers appear to try their best. However, the lines are long and there are not enough customer services reps. I visited this location because I had to pick up certified mail. I wish that they would hire additional postal workers. Most of the time the lines are long. Moreover, the employees do the best that they can with the resources that they have! Older woman tends to be very unprofessional and move like a turtle. No sense of urgency as she continues to hold conversations as oppose to work in a professional manner. I see exactly why this post office is at such a low rating. Horrible

I went to the Lilburn post office on Lawrenceville Highway, Saturday, December 11. I am giving the post office three stars for each of the three employees that were handling customers.There were two employees at the counter, and a third employee was managing the line in the lobby. Several customers appeared to be surprised that the post office was so busy two weeks before Christmas! The three employees, as I observed them, were polite, professional, and efficient.The lobby and the customer area lacked sufficient mailing supplies for priority mail. In addition, the postal machine in the lobby was out of order except for dispensing stamps. It seems that the Postal Service would make maintain these machines Frequently during the busy holiday season. I, for one, could have mailed my package myself if the machine had been in proper working condition.
Every time I come here they are so nice and professional. I know they deal with a lot of nonsense but they are always so sweet and patient. The lines can get pretty long as well. Keep up the great work!
Had no issues with their various shipping options as well as their free shipping materials. Theyre great for what they are, and yes they can use improvement, but I am grateful for their existence (I am a reseller for my business)
Ok, I use this post office once three weeks. And I always get good service not sure why everyone gave one stars. But then I always drop packages or once in six months have in person service. Still everyone Otis nice there .
The Lilburn GA post office does not open on time. Long lines are in the lobby as its already 15 mi beyond 8:30 opening.
Terrible customer service! Rude and unprofessional employees working with their ear buds in while attempting to assist customers. I waited in line for 1 hour with 15-20 other customers only to be told my package was going to be delivered. I had received notice that it was available for pick up at the post office. Employee talked back to customers. What is the point of signing up to tracking and text message updates??!?! Employees unable to post a note on the doors saying packages will be delivered...or shout it out to ALL the customers standing in line. UNNECESSARY!
3rd time here with over an hour wait each time. An employee (white guy with brown beard) keeps walking back and forth through the long line with no mask on. Customers arent wearing a mask and the employees arent enforcing their own rules. Its a dangerous place to have to be for over an hour. Even though I submitted a change of address form weeks in advance, they still held my mail and even my overnight Amazon packages for no reason other than the mailman didnt read the change of address form. This forced me to go to the post office 3 different times for long waits and pay for a babysitter over $120 total since I have a young child and this place is way too dangerous to bring her. It is a horrible operation.
I had a package that was sent from Texas and they said delivered and Ive not seen the package up till now. Called and they kept transferring from one place to another,nobody seems to be concern. Its obvious that some of the delivery agents are stealing peoples packages.
Terrible. They always have one person working the window. The line will be to the back of the building and they go extremely slow. Its terrible. Can you please have at least two people working to accept orders and packages. The like for passport takes forever even with an appointment. Wait times are minimum 30 minutes to get in and out.
So this office closes at 6. I got there at 5:40 and they wouldn’t take anybody else. I needed this small package to go today. I work doubles for the next 5 day’s and won’t be able to mail my elderly mom’s Christmas present now! Very rude! They shouldn’t refuse people before closing!
Just not good customer service. I went in looking for a package and they lied about how “it wasn’t brought in yet with the carrier” when the tracking number says my local branch received my package three days ago. I’m okay with delays, especially with everything going on but I draw the line when people lie. Why tell me to drive over there to pick up my package and then tell me you guys don’t have it ready? I then asked if there was a branch specific number I could call to maybe check next time (they said come back to check the next day) and they gave me the number to customer service (which I already called earlier). A simple “no, we don’t have a branch specific number here” would have been more than great. As a human, I like straightforward information, not random information put in my face that I already know.Other than that, I know everyone is working hard to get all the mail sent out but please just don’t lie to those who just want to know where thier mail is.

They keep putting my mail in the neighbors mailbox!!!!! The first time I noticed was when the neighbor told me what was my mail doing in his,he told me it wasnt the first time. Now Ive been getting emails and notices from everyone asking if my address is correct because the mail theyve been sending to me its been returned. I cant even wrap my head around this. I decided to do this review because due to a surgery I cant move much,and very important documents that need to be sent just got returned.

Mr. Shaw was very rude, I called in to speak with someone regarding a package I never received. whilst telling him about my query, he cut me off and said he does not handle that side, I proceeded to say how does he know what Im about to ask him, he continued to cut me off and said the person in charge comes in later. I’ve been waiting on a package for 3 weeks. Tracking is stuck on pre-shipment. I finally called the post office it was dropped off at and the guy looked it up and said it arrived at this office on 1/23. It did not come last night so I drove to this post office to figure out if it really was here. The lady flat out refused to look it up and just told me it’ll be delivered when it gets delivered. It’s a $400 package and I really do not trust the people at this post office. I will not be using USPS anymore. Something that would take only a minute or two to do and she refused.

Most of the people in this post office are rude, they act like they are doing the customer a favor. Very bad customer service they scream across the room like they are at their home rude, rude . I was there for an hour just to drop off one box. other cashier came call the customer and left leaving the customer waiting while she was texting. When she come back she call for customer again because she has forgotten about the customer standing in front on the counter, the cashier said ohh and laugh off in front of the customer and never apologize for her rudeness. Do not how the management team tolerate this rudeness They need to hire employees that have customer service skills.
Glove did perfectly job with us for passport applications , she was so patient with us. God bless her and them all.

The worst post office Ive ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. 2 weeks now my roommate has had a scheduled pick up from them, they keep refusing to even try and pick up the package, the package thats been sitting in the open on the front porch. They routinely lie and say they attempted to deliver my packages but couldnt access the location yet the rest of the mail gets delivered for the day. I hope they get fully defunded.
Just rude people. Just do your job and check to see the Statius of my package. A package I was told your head office was there. Instead of looking up the package info they said it was lost. Really you can’t even look up the tracking info. It was probably pocketed.
Very very very bad customer service. I was there for an hour just to drop off one box. It was only one cashier working at 4:00 PM, until the other cashier came and took her 30 minutes to put on her mask and gloves 😡😡😡 until she finally start to call the next customer. O star! I went to the store and asked a lady for a Registered Mail Receipt (Form 3806). She immediately lied to me that they do have this type of service. I showed her a filled form I did a month ago in the same store. But she just ignored me and walked away. To verify her lie I went to another store in Patterson Rd and got the requested service finished in a few minutes. I would say at least certain staff in this store is evil. I will never use this store anymore.

The line was pass the door at 4:00pm. They take their time to get ready to call up the next customer. The male worker (tall African American) he’s very rude. I walked up to his station and said to me rudely “did I tell you to come up here”. I was assuming it was my turn because the other customer left. He was talking to a worker about gossip and there was a line.

Had a worst experience ever. Staff is so unhelpful. For passport applications make sure you take an appointment before you go there. They require you to take an online appointment and their website is so unfriendly. They will not give you an appointment in person, I has to be online. There is separate line for passport, don’t waste your time by standing in the same line of for postal services. Only two people working so expect at least 10-15 minutes in line.
I feel like monkeys would do better job than the people working here. You have one job to read the address and deliver mail/package to that address. If you cant even do that why waste oxygen?

The woman at the desk was incredibly slow, as if she didn’t care about her job or the six or seven people waiting in line. The most energy she had was when her friend/worker came from the back and they started talking about their weekend plans. Clean house, hire people who are grateful to have jobs, and stop wasting everyone’s time.

The staff is lazy and could care less. They can be condescending when you don’t know how to do something. Very rude and slow. Expect to wait a long time. I use the self service kiosk when I can to avoid them. So the one star I gave is for the self service kiosk. While you wait in line they will not call the next customer so they can talk and hang out.. when they finish their convo then they’ll call the next person. This place needs a major change. A lot of us depend on the postal service! They neee to do better for the community.
Went for my daughters passport and Shena was so helpful. She went out of her way to suggest I could do a notary for my wife who had challenge coming and was very supportive in getting it all done.

If you want to play Wheres Waldo with your package, have them sent through this branch. I will now have all important packages sent to an alt address that, doesnt use this branch.As a side note, this branch performs so poorly that I had to register to google and say something just to warn others. Not sure whos at fault for the shoddy deliveries but I have lost packages from this branch multiple times.
I went to the post office during Christmas, expecting to wait in line for a long time. But there was a self-serve kiosk in the lobby, and a USPS employee there to help guide customers quickly through the process. I was able to buy stamps for Christmas cards and mail a Priority Mail package in 5 minutes.
Ive called about this several times, all to no avail. We typically are missed between one and three times a week for pickups and deliveries. Just walked the weeks invoices up the hill to the closest public box. The flag on our regulation mailbox was up, he stopped at the neighbors but missed us. AGAIN. I realize that they dont care, but what the heck, I feel better now at least.Just after the above review I filed a formal complaint online, chock full of specifics. As the problem continued uninterrupted, a few weeks later I got a how did we do in resolving your issue survey. Fast forward - Ive now visited the Post Office twice in two days, with my non-picked up mail in hand. This time for sure, said the head guy. Back up the food chain I go again.
If I could give this post office negative stars I would! Everyone is correct. No one there cares at all, the postal workers are lazy and will do anything to not get out of their truck. I had a package that was tossed into my bushes. It was there several days before I even saw it. The mail carrier pulled into my driveway and tossed the package. Now, they refuse to deliver my packages to my front door! I have complained an unbelievable amount of times about this. They drive down the driveway and leave the package in front of the garage out in the open without any shelter. With my garage you have to turn right to pull in. My husband (in his truck) didnt see the Swiss Colony package one year and drove right over it! Smashed cheese. Post office didnt care. Swiss Colony re-shipped at their expense with no charges to me. Phone is always busy and who has time to sit and redial for over an hour to get someone on the phone? Wish someone cared about what happens at this location.
Latoya the most rudest customer service, and the other regular lady. I feel like they have the safest job ever. They are always unhappy because line get back up and they take their time to serve customer as slowest as possible. First she was already helping a customer at the counter then she asked if who is picking up. Then I said I do. She said come on over while shes helping another customer, and I was in my phone because everytime I am at this location it it takes about an hour to get out of the line. So she told me to get off the phone. So I did. And she is still helping the customer before me. Let me tell you, unless you are actually helping me at this moment dont tell me to get off my phone just for me to just stand their like Im a lost puppy because nobody is helping me. I JUST COULDNT WAIT to move and be on a different location. This place sucks.
I understand retarded people need a job but have them push shopping carts or something.Our mail is frequently lost. I just delivered 6 different items to my neighbors.When I called advise them of it I wasn’t able to get anyone on the phone. I guess one has to go in person to make them aware of it.

Im really unhappy with this post office. I paid for the priority mail that was supposed to be deliver the next day here in Atlanta ga. It is now days 6 and my package still not delivered yet. And the customer service want to make me believe that it takes 5 days to deliver a regular priority mail. this is really suck. I wish I could give zero star.

These people come to work when they feel like it. Every morning the same. It is now 15 minutes since opening time and we are all stuck waiting in the hallway. Plus, the continually lock the package drop box which forces me to wait until someone decides to show up to work.
Lady who helped me was extremely rude and robotic. Terry (the only white lady working sat morning) is the only person who values your time and has any other sense of customer service shes great. Everyone else there is rude and indiffernet. No sense of urgency for a long line and they just push you to different people and are completely unhelpful. Change out the entitled workers with the poor customer service skills and keep terry!
I paid $23 to have a letter expressed within 1 business day and the packaged didnt arrive until 3 days later. So... why pay a fee if its just going to be delivered regularly?? Horrible service! Can I get a refund??
Trying to intercept a package, they were extremely rude. The next day when I went to the post office in person the clerk behind the counter apologized for the mix-up saying they did not understand why the package was not intercepted correctly, and if Id spoken to a supervisor it would have been intercepted correctly. But now its too late because nobody would help me over the phone. In fact the shipper even hung up on this post office because they were so rude, and now I am out extra shipping because we could not intercept the package since the person in the back didnt know what in the hell they were doing. Next time I will use ups because they care about the customer, and USPS doesnt.

We have had so many problems with this post office since moving here. Today I found my package halfway down my driveway, behind the wheel of my car. It wasnt at the front door, or by the garage door. It was BEHIND my car. I only happened to find it because I walked to the mailbox before heading out to get dinner tonight. Otherwise i would have run it over. This girl that delivers to our neighborhood is so extremely rude and lazy, and incompetent it is amazing. This is by far the worst post office in any place we have lived.
When Betty was my postal carrier everything was great! no errors! Ever since Betty retired , some of my mail that is being delivered, to my personal home, where I have been living for 13 years, now has yellow stickers on it and it is being returned as Not Deliverable as addressed! My address and I have been in the same place for 13 years!!! I have been calling now for over 15 minutes and there is no answer at 3:00PM... This is ridiculous!!! My new carrier places the wrong mail in the wrong mailboxes. And GOD FORBID if they have to get out of their truck to put something in the mail box! Then you wonder why the post office has such a bad rap. GO figure!!!!!
Online says closes at 6. Doors were open when i arrived. I was inline before 530. Stood on line for 20 minutes. Then the lady starts yelling at the last 2 people in line(me included) that they were closed. Said they closed At 5. At 5:35 I left without being served. Rude. Update google maps and if you are really open till 6 then dont treat people who are there over a half hour before closing so rude! Ridiculous!
Im going with a 3. One time inside the clerk saved me money by suggesting a different package and the same result. Id give her a 5. Unfortunately, I dont remember her name. The clerks vary from a 3 to 5 depending on the day.Finally my home delivery sucks. Mt mail comes anywhere between 1 in the afternoon and 7. Weve only been in our house 8 months. Its in an old established neighborhood; built in the 70s. One of the first things our next door neighbors told us is the mail carrier is completely erratic. There is no way to depend on it. They were RIGHT. Its so bad now I wait till the next morning to check my box. You know what I think my rating should be 2.
Im so over this got damn post office. For well over a year Ive been getting others mail. My address and the other peoples address are similar.. same house number, different street name. Ive called, Ive gone to the office and still the same damn mess. Today I was expecting a package. I tracked the package and it said it was delivered at 12:49 p.m to my home but get this, the carrier didnt deliver my mail until after 2 so where is my package? Called the office after several busy signals I finally spoke to someone. She got the tracking number and was even sorta baffled that it says it was delivered at 12:49 but my mail was delivered after 2. She took my info and said she would call right back after she spoke to the carrier. Here it is 6p.m (closing time) and no call back. This just goes to show that they care nothing about their customers!
Everyone is always very nice and extremely helpful. Ive never had a problem and we use this post office for both personal and business.
Bad, bad, service. Supervisor Deanna Johnson (or something like that) was very rude. I wonder how she got this job. With those customer service skills she should be moving boxes not talking to customers. I had a problem to resolve and she just walked out on me in the middle conversation. She decided she did not want to help me, and just walked away without a word. I was speachless. I did not know if she is going to come back or not. Of course she DID NOT. I had to call her again with help of a clerk. My business spends thousands of dollars every month, just to be treated like this. No surprise USPS is broke. I will contact anyone I can to file a formal complaint about this.
I always wonder when the mail will be delivered...unfortunately, our cul-de-sac has family coming home from school for the holidays. our mail man will not deliver to any of us until the kids return to school and he can drive right up to the mail boxes...sometimes he will throw things into the front yard. I am thinking this is what the postal service is about now. It has been so long since I have seen anything other than this. I dont expect anything else...should I?

No sense of urgency for a long line and they just push you to different people and are completely unhelpful. Change out the entitled workers with the poor customer service skills. Terrible Customer Service.
I sent mail to my father which was forwarded back to me over an obvious clerical error in the post office system and upon trying to resend it, I was asked to pay again. Management was helpful, but staff was dismissive and refused to help. Lesson is, do not use usps.
Post Office Lazy Employees Suck. Bad customer service. Its an easy paying job that requires basically no specialized skills. God Bless The United States Postal Service
Be prepared for a half hour wait minimum.
