I would give them 5 stars if the phone system was better. I love all the doctors, nurses and staff and they have been really helpful with my chronic pain. However, if you need something you won’t ever get a call back. You can’t ever speak to an actual person other than the operator. There needs to be 1-2 dedicated people just to check messages or answer the phone in each office. Not be sent to Charleston, then transferred to a voicemail to never get a call back. It’s super frustrating especially when you really need them that day. It happens anytime I need something time sensitive. This office has a potential to be great if the phone system kinks would be worked out.

The staff is very caring, helpful and friendly. The staff work very well together, this creates a positive office environment. This team of wonderful people are working together to give the best possible care to their patients.Having pain disorders issues is a terrible disease, that is hard to treat!!!In most cases there is no cure. For example, some people CAN NOT take steroid medications or NSAIDs. The use of these medications is one of the most preferred treatments for chronic pain. For example steroid shots on nerve blockers are offered here.It is the goal of these doctors, at the Trident Pain Management Centers to help their patient live productive lifestyles, as pain free as possible. This can be frustrating and challenging to both the doctors and the patients, when the above mentioned medications can not be used. The doctors and physician assistants, at this Trident Pain Center work hard at facing this challenges. They try to reach the goals of each individual patient. Thanks you, to the whole entire team at The Trident Pain Center in Lexington, SC.

The Doctor, Staff up front ,Charmaine and Jaime are sweet and pleasant.Physician Assistants need some training on their bedside manners. They talk down to patients and more than one of my friends have had to tell them about themselves. They talk down to you and I cant stand that.First of all, Im a grown 50 years old woman. Dont talk to me like a child.. I understood you the first 3 times you told me..Im well educated! Also why the hell would a PA be talking to me about my insurance or copay.. You doing too much. Stop trying to act like you the BOSS and just do your job. Very Unsatisfied Customer!

They have worked together to help my pain come to a manageable tolerance by using other methods besides the narcotics. This has made my life better so I’m not in a daze and can enjoy my children and grandchildren. It has also helped a lot of my stomach issues. I still deal with pain but my quality of life is much better. I’m very thankful for them.

I have previously led a very painful life. My Primary Care dr referred me. Dr Brandt has successfully restored my quality of life. His staff is always very professional and provide superior customer service. Trident Pain has procedures and policies that require mandatory drug (urine testing) every visit requiring narcotic prescription refills. Dr. Brand is extremely caring and thorough regarding prescriptions and procedures for pain. If you are truly serious about getting treatment and management for pain, I highly recommend Dr Brandt and his staff. if youre interested in immediate narcotics without testing and a customized plan to help yourself to become pain free, or to bring the pain to a manageable level, you need to look elsewhere. Rating this Dr and his staff for me would be much higher than 5 stars. My rating is 5-plus for the Dr and all his staff. I have had no personal issue with Trident Pain, my experience of eliminating most excruciating pain and knowing that following Dr Brandts prescribed treatment has changed my life, his testing prior to treatment, assessment and eventual treatment, is my reason for the highest rating possible. Every individual needs a customized regimen and if you want just a quick fix, continuous narcotic refill each month or whenever you want it, you are wasting your time. Patients I meet during every visit give the best reference and highest rating as well. If every review here was just one star, my personal opinion of the Trident staff and Dr Brandt would not change.

I love all my doctors here. I drive over an hour to see them because they are very intelligent. They provide caring service. I have been to many doctors over the years and no one has done for me what these doctors do. The injection they did on my neck Im six month since it and its still working. I can turn my neck and lift my arms again. I do recommend if you are suffering everyday of your life and you are misserable like I was then you need to come here and let them help you! And all the staff are caring people who want to help all the patients. They take the time to get to know everyone and ask about your children and even your pets.

I am a patient of Dr Brandt in the Lexington SC location, and his medical care is excellent. So much so that I followed him to this practice. I have no issues with Dr Brandt or the Lexington office staff. However, the main (Charleston)office procedures are horrible. In June, I scheduled a small, in office procedure for July, 30 days wait due to how these are scheduled. This is understandable. What is NOT understandable is that the necessary insurance approval process that TRIDENT ( not my insurance) requires was not completed, and I could not have the procedure. That was two weeks ago. I rescheduled my procedure to give more time for the paperwork between Trident and my insurance, but it is not yet complete. Six weeks, and I have not had a pain relieving procedure that I have had done previously and is covered by insurance. I have made multiple phone calls to the main Charleston office about this issue and it is still not resolved. Inexcusable.

The Doctor was fine my issue is complete lack of respect of my time. I arrived 30 mins prior to my appointment and was taken back a little after my scheduled time. An hour past my appointment time I go to the front to inquire how much longer it will be and she says awhile there are still three people ahead of you, but you can reschedule if youd like. My response was dont you believe that would have been appropriate to ask me thirty minutes ago? And then she told me Id have to wait another three weeks to be seen. So, I was finally seen an hour and forty five minutes after my appointment time, so bring a book.

I didnt think it was possible to find a pain doctor (and staff) with as much experience as Dr. Nolan, that hadnt become hard hearted as a result of todays opioid problem. When I found Dr. Nolan, I was amazed and delighted. Dr. Nolan and his staff at Trident Pain Center, truly care about their patients pain and their quality of life. Of course, its a business and businesses are supposed to make a profit. However, Trident Pain Care has proven to me, on more than one occasion, that profit is not as important as relieving my pain!Dr. Nolan oversees all locations and the providers (PAs and Dr.s) work together as a team to provide the best care possible.Ive been seen at three different locations. Each location I visited had the same high level of care. If you have chronic pain and havent found the right doctor yet; I recommend any one Trident Pain Centers locations.

I would give a 0 star if I could. For how much money they collect, they are quite rude, for no reason! Lady at front table keeps giving nasty looks. When people call out patients names they look disgusted. One time someone asked a question to one of the ladies (while Im waiting for 2 hours) the lady just replied with oh I dont know she aint done yet , and slammed the door! No, Oh I can go check! OR a No maam I dont know about her as of right now! Yeah. No no no all around. So professional, and nice.

I miss Dr. Brandt. It’s unreal at how rude the staff is. I was in today and they knew I was in allot of pain, but didn’t offer to talk to me about it. I have two rods holding my spinal cord together from a fall off my house and several in my left foot that I almost lost a couple of years ago. They’re more worried about getting to lunch than that’s are listening. I wrote them a check last month for my copay and as if today it had not cleared. I got a message from the main office in Charleston telling me that they found my check!!! Really? I wish I had other options for my pain management. My mom hates taking me here .

Dr. Brandt took me out of work for 30 days so I can be evaluated by a neurosurgeon in Charlotte, NC. I have trigeminal neuralgia. He treated me with medications and injections and nothing helped with the pain. On 2/12, they were suppose to schedule me an appointment with the neurosurgeon. I waited and waited for a call regarding my appointment. I called Trident Pain Center and they said they were waiting on a referral form from Dr. Asher’s office in Charlotte. I then got involved at this time. I called the neurosurgeon’s office and they said they had not received an referral from Trident Pain Center for me. After calling the neurosurgeon’s office repeatedly about an referral made for me and had not yet received, they scheduled an appointment for me and told me what to bring. I was seen by the neurosurgeon on 2/26. Note: I got this appointment scheduled with the help of the scheduling coordinator in Charlotte. I had to obtain all of my medical records for this appointment. On day I picked up records, I was told by the young lady at the front desk they had faxed my paperwork to Charlotte on my paperwork to neurosurgeon on 2/22. On 3/9, I had a one month follow-up and was called earlier about coming in on 3/7 because they will have two doctors on the office. I agreed. On 3/7 around 10:00, I received a call from the receptionist and asked if I could go to Charleston for my appointment at 3:45 pm. I told her that would not be possible. Later on, I got a call from another person in the office to see if I could come in at 2:00 pm. I said that would be fine. When I arrived, I have never seen this many patients in the waiting room since I have been a patient there. Everybody were asked to fill out a questionnaire about our symptoms, etc. while waiting. Everyone were looking confused as to this was not the norm. I was seen by a PA. She did not bother reading my file. She asked if I needed a refill on any of my medications. I told her I was still out of work and have yet to be fully evaluated by the neurosurgeon. I asked if they were going to extend my leave. The PA said she did not know how they did things at this office. She was out of the Charlotte office. She had to ask Dr. Chad. They had me to sit down in the waiting room for an answer. Receptionist said doctor said I could return to work. They did not provide me when a doctor note stating such. I had to go back to get a fitness for duty form completed. The form looked as if a third grade student had completed it. It was not completed in its entirety. Had to return form back to office for it to be completed prior to returning back to work. As of this date, the form has yet to be faxed to my company. Lastly, husband went to pharmacy to pick up medications for me. Pharmacist told him one of my prescriptions could not be filled. Pharmacist called to obtain approval to refill. She was told I was a patient of Dr. Brandt and he is no longer at the practice. Now, I am out of one of my medications needed for my diagnosis. Again, the patient suffers! My last appointment at Trident Pain Center, I was told we would be taken care of since Dr. Brandt left. This is not the case!!! I will not be returning. Will be finding me a new pain doctor. Since Dr. Brandt left, I would not recommend this place to no one!
