I have been seeing Carmella Broome for almost two years now. She is an absolutely amazing, compassionate, and funny counselor to have. She never makes me feel judged or like a bad person. And as for the reception - I absolutely love the receptionist. Kim is sweet, funny, and cares about me too. You are welcomed by everyone at Crossroads. It has definitely been my best experience with counseling.

They should not be criticized because of the Insurance they choose to take or not take. You should find out about that before you go there. If Medicaid would pay out more, more places would take it. Everyone there was kind and caring. I am seeing an Intern for FREE and she is fantastic. LaRue runs the place and could not be any sweeter. I am very impressed.

This is office has been extremely helpful in helping me with my grief after my sons suicide. I see Ms. Eve Powell and she is an absolute blessing. I see other reviews on here in regards to insurance, etc. A lot of times the office/business has nothing to do with that and it is the insurance company that will not use a certain business. Unfortunately, since ObamaCare insurance, especially mental health coverage, is a joke and the State of SC is one of the worst. Believe me my son was turned away from some where about 6 hours before his suicide so I am learning just how bad the system is.

Went for help regarding Domestic Violence and the male counselor told me he refused to see me because I STAYED with my husband and was very rude and judgmental about it. It’s been a couple of years but I should never have been refused service based on his prejudices about abused women!!! My friend was looking this place up and I remembered my horrible experience and she’s going elsewhere now, thank goodness!!

Karen Taylor is without a doubt one of the single worst counselors i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Lost all faith in recovery because of her.

I can’t speak for the counselors. However I can speak on my experience with the front desk. The receptionist was rude . They require you to pay money up front and don’t tell you before the appointment. It was aggressive and weird the way it was asked. You won’t be seen without paying. I left and didn’t even see the counselor.

This counseling center requires you to pay up front, $90 before they even speak to a counselor, and they only mention this one youre there, they will bill you the full session if you cancel for any reason. A realitive also atteneded counseling here and was very dissapointed, saying the doctor only listened and gave no real counseling in the weeks she attended there. However i was not aware this was the same place until arriving. Never in any of the counseling centers iv attended have ever demanded pay before a session. These people are very shady and there are much better counselers out there. Stay away.

I wish I could give zero stars. The receptionist was so rude and disrespectful of my time and my children, I’d never go back.

You say youre a Christian Organization yet you do not accept Medicaid Insurance. Do you not realize that the majority of the people that NEED you are on Medicaid??? Seems like youre just in it for the money....
