I want to give these 5 stars to mayflowers newest maintenance professional. Adam, you are a hard worker and you take pride in your job and continue to show up every day to tackle on unforeseen uncertainties thank you Adam for taking pride in the place where “WE“. live!!! Reviews don’t always have to be negative people, take the time to thank people for what they do and try to remember that Adam is one person to take on the whole complex himself. Great job !!!! B

If I could put zero stars I would. This apartment complex is a joke. When my girlfriend moved in i had to get an attorney involved to get myself put on the lease because management changed what was stated to them to try to evict my girlfriend. We thought the issue was resolved after I submitted an application and we werent harrassed or bothered anymore. ....fast forward to current time... That was until a new management took over and her lease was coming up for renewal. Then we got issues again. Now take in to account on the website on her Account it shows me as a co resident ( to most people with common sense this says.....he is on lease or approved to be here). But apparently not to the new management company. And now I have to attempt to jump through hoops that are basically blocked and never lead to a positive solution they lead to one solution what management wants me removed. (also take this into account 1.when we first moved in nothing showed or stated we were low income housing. 2. My application and application fee and all info regarding me had magically disappeared) And even though I can prove I applied and my income was on the original lease I had to reapply. Although I was told by regional manager my application was strictly to be put in file so they had it (not ran to determine renewal determination), it was ran and used for the reason I was told it wasnt gonna be.And to top it off we moved in toward end of the month ( meaning 10 days or less Left of month). And yet the original lease doesnt include (the lease ends a month short of a year so we lose a month of our lease). And now we have been refused lease renewal, refused an extra month that we are legally entitled to and have 30 days or so to find a place and move (all though we have been good tenants no complaints, rent paid in time or early)If I new what I know now I would of never moved here, the management doesnt communicate properly, apartment number had caused mail issues, management decide they want you out then you will be out no matter what, if old management screwed you ( deleting you from file) your screwed mine as well move out now, and parking is a joke been parking in same spot for a year no problem and now I cant park in that spot because no assigned parking and new management is to scared to do assigned parking because they dont wanna deal with the people who cant be responsible adults and park in there own spot. Its amazing the people who arent on section 8 who can pay full rent no problem get treated worse then the people on government housing gee what would it be like if it was the other way around

This place has gone downhill since the new ownership came in. They have gone through several managers and still have not found one that knows how to treat people well and foster good relations with the tenants (who by the way, are their bread and butter) or manage a property well. They do not have a regular maintenance crew and no emergency maintenance crew. Better hope your furnace doesnt go out because they will NOT come to fix it in a timely manner (even though by their own admission its classified as an emergency) and will let you suffer in a freezing apartment for days on end without one care. Or, if your air conditioner goes out in the heat of the summer dont expect them to take care of that for several months (finally replaced the AC in November, when it was no longer needed for the year). And, the temporary maintenance guy that they do have had the nerve to say not having a working furnace (when its 14° outside) is not considered an emergency and its up to the tenants to take care of fixing their furnace so it puts out heat!! Its up to who ever owns the property to maintain it, not the renter. The grounds have trash everywhere that they never clean up, the grass turns yellow and brittle (fire hazard dry) in the summer because they dont fix the sprinklers to actually hit the grass, but it does a good job at hitting the parking lot and even sprays your car that you just paid money to get washed. They are good at finding very unfriendly managers who seem to think its okay to treat people like dirt. They claim to care about people, yet dont care if you suffer without heat, AC, or water, but get right on it if you owe them any amount of money. They love giving people eviction notices and tape them right on someones front door for the whole world to see, disrespecting peoples privacy.Plus, I have heard from several of my friends, who have had the good fortune to move away from here, that they do not return your deposit, even though they left their apartment clean and in good condition. If I could give this place a negative rating I would.Unless they get better management who know how to treat people well and a maintenance crew who actually do their job, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live...anywhere else!!

Don’t live here unless you can’t find a better place. My A/C has been broken since I started my lease in July. I’ve had maintenance come in multiple times to “fix” it. To this day it has not been fixed. On one occasion I was told by maintenance that they “shut off” the A/C during winter because we don’t need A/C during the winter, yet I called maintenance to fix it because it was one of those random hot days we get during the winter. Regardless, the A/C was yet again not fixed and now that it is warmer, it still isn’t working. Even though they switched management companies, maintenance seems to still be useless as they can’t even fix an A/C or don’t even want to spend the money in getting a new one if the current one is not fixable.

Management is terrible a total lack of professionalism and communication. They lost my security deposit/first months rent money order. They had a copy of it in my file with a signature showing the person and day it was received. They lost it and never deposited the money order but didnt let me know about it until 8 months later when I got an eviction notice with me not paying that months rent as a reason. They refused to update their file even when they had the photo copy of the money order. In addition they falsified several documents where they forged my wifes and my own signature. The signatures werent even close to matching and were dated for a time when my wife was out of the country. Management refused to even acknowledge that they had done something wrong. The maintenance is a joke trash is everywhere and things like sprinklers go months without being fixed. Really disappointing experience all around.

If I could give zero stars, I would! I never even had a chance to live here and they get a terrible review. It started with me finding a listing online for a 2 bed available now, with a move-in special. Since I work til 5 M-F, I called and asked for an application to be emailed, gave them my email, but never received an application. I also asked how their process works and she told me when the app is approved, they put me in an apartment. The next day, I got their direct email from their online chat team and sent an email requesting the application again. They finally sent it along with the info that I would also need to bring a couple money orders or cashiers checks for the screening fee and to hold the apartment (this came directly from the community manager). Still, not once was I asked what apartment I was interested in or anything. The next day I asked who the cashiers checks need to be made out to since the management company has a different name than the actual complex, and if I needed an appointment to drop everything off. She sent the info of who to make them out to and said to call on my way so they could expect me. I finally get off work, rush to my bank for the cashiers checks, pick up my kids and head to Mayflower. I called on the way, like they asked, and to be sure they would be there til 6. I finally get there, rush to the door only to be told they dont have any 2 bedroom apartments available, and a 3 bedroom wouldnt be available until December. She **Cynthia** acted as if I was the stupid one for dropping off these things, when her nor the manager ever mentioned they didnt even have availability, through any email or when I even called when I was clearly on my way with everything in hand!! This was the most frustrating thing to deal with, they are unprofessional and obviously do not communicate well and I do not recommend attempting to work with them. I did email the manager again with my frustrations and she apologized for the miscommunication, told me she has no 2 bedrooms available, yet as Im on Rentler searching listings, there is a 2 bed available now there at Mayflower. Unbelievable!! Dont believe their listings either, they probably actually dont have anything for rent because they dont update their listings. I would stay away!!!

I lived at Mayflower for almost 4 years. The management we had before was amazing, this new Management is really bad; I called them so many times in July and left many messages about moving and they claim they never received any of my messages, which resulted in more fees. They do not care (facility is unkempt) and make that very obvious in the way they treat you and take care of the apartments. The price theyre asking for is absurd with how little they do for the residence. Maintenance never fixes anything correctly. We had a fire alarm going off in one of the empty apartments and had to call the fire department, because maintenance would not answer. You could find such a better place to live than Mayflower apartments.

This apartment complex is trash. They hold your deposit from you and never give it back. I’ve gone in so many times to see what’s happening with my deposit and I get so many excuses! First excuse is that I didn’t do the move out paper, which in fact I did. Second excuse was that I OWED money to them for a month that I didn’t live there! Management is trash and they don’t care about anyone. Hopefully this place will receive a lawsuit soon.

I came to tour these apartments recently as I was interested in potentially moving in. Upon arrival, the manager lady was rude and not welcoming at all. While we were walking to the apartment so I could see it she was constantly on her phone instead of interacting with me. This apartment complex lacks maintenance and professionalism. There was dog poop all over the grass throughout the whole complex and the stairwells in the apartment Buildings are disgusting. There is trash all over in them and they smell horrible. After viewing the apartment I decided to go elsewhere. When I tried asking the manager lady questions she was short with her answers and rude. I will find an apartment complex where the manager cares more about helping tenants than she does being on her phone and where the maintenance actually does their job.

About a month before I moved out a new company took over the management of the apartment complex. It was great before then but now I feel like anything I say is not heard or cared about. Ive been moved out for a couple weeks now and cant even get an answer on when I will get my deposit back. I clean the whole apartment extremely well and just waiting to hear back from them. Ive called three times and they wont even tell me how much my deposit was in the first place or how much I will be getting back. The management before it was amazing and I felt like they really cared about the people. Now, not so much.

The management and maintenance are fabulous. Its kept looking nice. However, cops are there frequently do to various reasons. It is nice to have the extra patrols and they take their time being friendly with the kids so that the children will have positive associations with them. There are 2 playgrounds on the property and a park across the street. Unfortunately being low income you get a lot of low class nasty neighbors and some good ones. there was a constant issue with underage children in the pool and bullying. Parking sucks! Beware gas gets siphoned, things go missing from cars, children will scratch up cars. Watch out for toys all over the walkways and behind vehicles. the same parents letting their kids run around cars while theyre moving are the same residents that fly through the property at mach 90.

Since my last review, this place has gone down hill BIG TIME. My car was vandalized and broken into, neighbors seem to come and go and be more and more disrespectful of the ones that live below them, and the new management team are not as welcoming and helpful as the last team they had. There are now more rules and regulations, rent seems to go up, yet the quality of the service and apartments themselves remain seriously lacking. They are old and not very well insulated at all and are supposed to be low income however they seem to be asking more and more for them.

The place was great until new managment came in. Now they are useless. We put in a work order for our washer that we are renting from them once a month for 3 months and they never came to fix it. Now we are moving and we need a renters verifications form filled out by them and it has been two weeks and they havent done it. Every time I walk in they say something different. First they said it would be done the next day and the form was sitting on their desk. Then they said they never received the form.... the apartments we are trying to go to started calling them every hour to have it filled out and they started ignoring her and told me AGAIN that they havent received the form that was sitting on their desk. The manager lady is a lazy ding dong.

I have lived here for the past 3 1/2 years. We just moved this past weekend and I wanted to leave a review for future residents. The management team, Senaida and Caity are absolutely awesome to work with. Both have gone out of their way to help when needed or to make an accommodation if need be. Maintenance is always completed quickly and thoroughly.People need to be realistic when they move in. This is an apartment complex. You will hear your neighbors on occasion, children will be running around the premises and because there are 16 buildings, there will be trash on the ground. The maintenance guys are awesome and do a phenomenal job at keeping the place picked up, however, if you drop trash on the ground then pick it up. If you have a pet, be considerate of others and pick up after them. After 3 1/2 years, we are sad to go. The only reason we are moving is that we were able to get into a home. If the time ever came that I needed another apartment, I WOULD NOT HESITATE to move back into these apartments. All complexes should have managers like Senaida. She treats you like family and that includes your kids and pets.I would highly recommend this complex to anyone looking (and I have) because for the location and the price, you cannot get a better place.

So many people giving one star reviews look like they arent keeping up on rent and feel like they deserve special treatment. The staff tries their best to accomidate the tenants. Management is extremely friendly BEFORE you sign a lease. They show off a beautiful model apartment. Warm colors, dark wood vinyl floors, and nice counter tops. PLEASE, request to see the actual apartment you will be renting before signing the lease.I asked to see the actual apartment I would be renting twice. I was told no both times because it was under construction. When signing the lease I noted the monthly rent was higher then originally quoted. Stupidly I assumed it was for the washer and dryer rental I had requested. Dont ASSUME anything. On move in day there was no washer / dryer, cheap white lanoleum floors, pink counter tops with the finish removed, and stark white walls. The accent wall color I chose wasnt updated and a kitchen looked straight out of 1982.While the movers were unloading I called management. Same person complete different attitude. No longer helpful, an angry tone, cocky attitude. It was apparent once the lease was signed my concerns were no longer appreciated. The exterior stucko hallways leading to the apartments are covered in grime. The walls are paper thin. The kitchen plumbing backs up every time the garbage disposal is used. The club house is a small room with 2 crowded machines and no privacy. No free internet as listed as an amenity. The pool is up and running and maintained.Fox Hollow Elementary is an excellent school with high ratings and a bus route. Its a safe environment for kids. The community consists of nice people.Maintenance is nice, fast, and helpful.

Ive been living here for two going on three years, grounds are clean and maintained, parks are everywhere, and schools are good in this area, pools in good condition and clean. Any time I have an issue, management is usually no problem to have maintainance come and check out my place. Havent had to call them alot, only for my a/c going out, and the usual yearly inspections. When I first moved in it smelt funny like the last rentee had a pet dog, and they let it pee everywhere, after taking a rug doctor to it again ( they also cleaned the carpet) they with out a problem replaced my carpet. My view from my building is whats been keeping me here. Wonderful view of the valley. The nearest grocery store is in the highland area or the walmart in the lehi/ a.f area. Its a drive somedays. Close to thanksgiving point, love taking my daughter there because its so close to home to have a good time. The only down side is I wish i could do a month to month after a year lease with out paying extra on rent.

I just moved in this past weekend. Prior to signing my contract I was told that if utilities are not transferred into my name management with charge me what ever they pay the company. I had been living there for 1 business day, the second business day I come home from work and my gas has been shut off for non payment and there is a $15 to turn it back on. there is a $150 fee to transfer the power in my name (which I wasnt told about). Lets back up a bit and talk about the state of my apartment when I moved it. Not only was it swarming with huge flies and a weird smell. The floors hadnt been swept, half ass job was done with vacuuming. I had to buy cleaning supplies to disinfect the whole apartment scrub down doors, walls, handles, vacuum, sweep and mop floors. im also hoping this huge jug of vinger will remove the odor. I cant believe I have to live here for a year and its only been 4 days. Maybe this experience isnt common but Im leaving this review more to show how much the really care about the tenants because when you go in there to meet them it is a very VERY different story. They are nice girls out side their management duties but other wise im very disappointed. I have a two bedroom at $775 my total move in cost in 4 days has been about $1000...just fyi
