I would not recommend them for services or repairs. Went for a laptop repair quote. I was asked to leave my laptop since he couldnt get a hold of his parts vendor. He said he would call me the next day. Never called. I went out of town and never received a call. 5 days later, I call to check. He asks to call me back in 10 minutes. Never called back. So I just decided to go pick up my laptop the next day. The open sign was on, but no one was there. I had to wait over 30 minutes and paid a $25 fee. By the end, I just wanted to be done with this place.If he had just called me and told me that he couldnt get the parts, I wouldnt mind. The total lack of communication was ridiculous, though.Dont bother with this shop.

I went to apple to fix my computer screen and they told me to recycle it and buy a new one. Went to a computer repair shop in Stone Mountain Ga and they try to charge me a arm and a leg. I call Computer Five and spoke to Gerald and he told me to come in and I did, he call me the next day and told me my Mac Book is ready, to my surprise he fixed it for a reasonable price. You guys should definitely check him out

Simply put: You can not necessarily trust this business. My LG G4 screen repair have been easy, but it took much longer than the 3 hours they claimed it would. Then, they refused to give me a discounted price. On top of that, they used my phone to give themselves a 5 star review, which to me is unbelievable. Many of these 5 star reviews are fake. I advise against getting repairs here.

The fact that he came to my home, worked from his van at my location, brought my newly repaired phone to my door, while I continued to work from home, was absolutely amazing. There was an issue however with the amount (not that it was too much because it was a very fair price) but, I wasnt clear on the price in advance and should have looked at the paper work more carefully. Gerald was very polite and professional, he explained in great detail what was needed for my phone and resolved the issue on the spot. I highly recommend this company and the services they offer. Not paying attention, I closed my laptop screen with a screw laying on the keyboard!!!! A few days later I had a very important writing assignment due so I sat down to get to work only to discover I had no screen. I googled computer repair, found Gerald, called him and he set me an appointment that day!!! A few hours later I was up and running and a very happy ghostwriter!!!! I truly appreciated his professionalism and his business ethic to be such a young man. He runs his business with pride and I love the great interaction between he and every customer who walks thru the door! Parking can be a bit of a challenge if youre in a large SUV or truck due to the design of the parking lot but this is only during lunch hours. Id give him 10 stars if possible..... very grateful to him.

There was damage on the sides from the drop and they were concerned that when the new glass would go on the sides would not be smoothed into the sides - but they were able to get it fixed very well. This place is great! I came here to fix my laptop screen. The screen was in a very bad condition and computer five fixed my screen in a very fast manner. I was very surprised when they had called me back so fast to pick up my laptop. They had a very good price too! I would recommend this place to anyone who has any issues with their phone or computers.

Lied about how long a consultation would take. They didnt even have a technician in the store. After 30 minutes of waiting I left, and they called me and asked why I left. I explained I dont live in the area and was in a hurry. They then hung up on me.

Probably the worst repair experience I have ever had. I was promised a repair in 3 hours for a cracked Galaxy S6, but it ended up taking an entire day. I have a strict schedule that requires me to maintain contact with all of my friends and family so I needed a very quick repair, but simply didnt happen. Plus, the guys there werent even nice to me about the whole thing. Overall, I just didnt feel welcome in Computer Five and I recommend that you find a different repair store to give your business to.

Went here to get a broken laptop screen fixed. The shop guy didnt looked into the problem properly and gave wrong estimate. He asked me to come back after 2 weeks. I went after three weeks instead. he said laptop will be ready. But, he didnt worked on the laptop even after three weeks in spite of having the ordered part arrived at his shop. He made me wait at his shop for 3 hrs and started working on the laptop while I was sitting there. In the process he made more damage to the laptop screen and broke it more. then he suggested me to buy a new laptop at his shop or get the whole laptop screen replaced for double the initial estimate. I walked out of the place with the more damaged laptop. Seems like he is good for cell phone screen replacement.

This place was a life saver for me! After being turned down by multiple PC repair places, these guys were able to fix my screen on my HP Envy laptop computer! If I could give it a less than 1 star I would. This was my second time coming to this place, the first time I only had to wait 1 hour and the screen for the LG was replaced and no other issues. I came back with my iPhone 7 plus and waited 6 hours when I was told it would be 1 hour. The screen was replaced, however the phone it self was jacked up. The keyboard was all over the place, the color was no longer bright and to top it off lines appeared on my screen and the touch screen stopped working. Come to find out, my iPhone was missing screws and third party modifications were done. $349 is what will take to fix it but I already paid $140 to Computer Five to fix it. No sane person will pay $349, I will have to go thru my insurance and even there I have to pay $149. All I asked of the owner is to reimburse me part of the money I paid him, notice I said PART not all of it. He refused to give me any money back and wanted me to bring it back. What for? To fix it? Is missing screws for gods sake, you forgot to put the screws back but you want me to take it back to you? Also, he said it was his first time fixing an iPhone 7 Plus, of course this was said after the fact. Very poor customer service and I DO NOT recommend your business to anyone.

I took an Xperia Z tablet to Computer Five to get the common problem of a faulty charging port replaced. I paid a $20 good faith fee to order part - okay fair enough. It took a month for the staff to replace the port- every time I called I was told it was on back order or some other excuse. Finally, after my wife picked it up and took it home, it stopped working after two weeks. I took it back and it was another couple of weeks before it was repaired. When I had time one day to make it over to the shop after work, I called and spoke with the owner, who said he was on his way to the store and would be there by a specific time, during business hours. I got there at the quoted time and after fifteen minutes he hadnt yet arrived. Another person had arrived to pick up her phone and also ended up waiting almost as long as me. Upon calling him he said the traffic was busy and he would be later than expected. Finally, I left after about twenty minutes (which by that time was only just after business hours) of waiting, leaving the other person still waiting. My wife ended up going over to pick it up when she could and found that it wasnt actually repaired, so she came home with the tablet still unrepaired. In fact, the replacement port was broken in half, if that was even the replacement port at all. About $85 dollars and multiple wasted trips to the shop later, the tablet is not repaired. My wife and I were always the ones having to call the shop to get information about the repair. Poor, poor customer and technical service. A big, big buyer beware!

The service is truly exceptional here. I had a black screen with no display at all and Gerald, the owner told me all my options clearly and he got my phone working again. The price was fair. My phone is not an easy type to disassemble and assemble and took extra time but the price didnt go up. I reccomend that you go to this place.

Im just surprised to see the all five star rating of this place but we had a very bad experience. My friend cracked her iPhone 5s screen while visiting Atlanta and we found this good reviewed place. The LCD was working fine, it was just the cracked glass that needed to be replaced. We handed over the phone but when we received it back, we found that the Retina display is gone and we can distinctly see the pixel points! Also, we started to have trouble with the microphone and speaker. So we highly doubt if inferior parts have been passed off as good parts as the guy was actually not fixing stuff in front of us. We are very frustrated about this, we will not go again, and will not recommend anyone to go.

I dropped off my computer, it had a virus. They were so honest about pricing that I nearly could have kissed Gerald through the phone. I am Spanish and when it comes to fixing computers - he could have easily over charged me on everything but he was very fair and told me exactly what was wrong. I manage a photography and film company, Uno Atlanta, and I had a lot of trouble with my IMAC (2013 late) model. I did my research and was able to find out that I was able to upgrade from Hard drive to SSD(Solid State Drive) and add more RAM into my computer. I purchase the items to save money and try doing it myself. I watch countless videos and read many forums and still was not able to remove the glass screen without possibly causing some damages. I seek professional help from people I personally know and they recommended me to get it done at Micro Center or Best Buy. I took it over to Micro Center but they are able to use the SSD I selected (apple only allows certain products to be installed), and then I went to best buy on Pleasant Hill. They didnt have that much interest and concerns about my issues, and then they mentioned that they will not be able to do that repair. With no hope in finding someone I google computer repairs and Computer Five came up on my phone. When I entered the store the tech stop what he was repairing and quickly gave me his attention. He was not to familiar with the repair so he called his Lead Tech and they confirm they were going to be able to repair it for me. Not only did they do a great job but also communicated very well with me and the repairs. It was tested in front of me prior to leaving. I was given excellent service here and I would recommended anyone with computer trouble or phone repairs to Computer Five

Owner was very short with his words and unfriendly he seemed like he didnt wish to help. I was interested in buying a computer from the store. I asked to see the item, he would not show me the item unless I bought it. I refused to buy any high end item without first being able to see the item which was a Mac computer. I would not recommend this store. Instead I would recommend one of the many Experimac locations in the area which have friendly staff and you can see the items and learn about the item before you purchase to make sure its a good fit.5/1/2018 Follow-up, No I do not work for Experimac, I do however know and appreciate good customer service which Experimac does have. in the end the Mgr was rude, the item pictured did not appear NEW in the images which is why I wanted to physically see the item. It didnt have a Mac keyboard in the pic, so I wanted to make sure all items where in fact official Apple products and I wanted to see the actual condition. The fact that the box was sealed made no sense as the images showed the item on display in the store. If the item pictured was not the actual item being sold he could have stated that the pic was for display/demo purposes he did not! In the end, I got a great deal on the item NEW in box directly from BestBuy. The item was a 27in iMac, I was looking for a 2015 or newer at a reasonable price for my studies in (New, or Like New condition). In the end the Manager failed to even show me the item or even the BOX for the item. I do not believe he was selling what he advertised.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. The service is the worst I have ever experienced. After spending $65 to fix my screen, the screen stop responding again less than a week of having the phone back. When I took it back in the guy was telling me that there were other stuff wrong with the phone (not) and that he would not refund me my money, they could not figure out what was wrong with the phone. The even suggested I take him to small claims court. He was rude, condescending and unprofessional.

My LG G3 screen needed replacement, and C5 was very helpful and patient, even when the replacement screen happened to be defective. They patiently reinstalled the broken screen so I could have use of my phone till the next day, when a new screen was available.

While everyone else seems to have had a good experience with Computer Five (C5), I unfortunately have not. I had a cracked glass on my Samsung Galaxy S5, something Gerald/Joe (I’m assuming he’s the owner) assured me he could fix. I wanted to avoid paying the $175 deductible my phone carrier was going to charge me, so I decided to let C5 do the repair. Now I wish I had just paid the deductible, especially since I was only saving $50 anyway. Gerald/Joe arrived at my home to repair my phone and told me that it should only take 2 hours to repair. After 3 hours goes by, my phone still wasn’t finished. I went to check on the progress and Gerald/Joe informed me that he was “wrapping up.” He said he got a little glue on the LCD (that wasn’t broken) but it was no big deal. Another hour goes by and he still wasn’t finished. At this point I am growing suspicious and decide to go find out what is going on. At this point Gerald/Joe is knocking on my door and asking for Q-tips, because he “got glue on the front facing camera.” Also, he didn’t remove the glue from the LCD either instead he smeared it. By this time it is 1:30am Saturday morning. I tell him to just take the phone and fix it, and bring it back to me tomorrow. By Saturday afternoon I call him to check on his progress, he wasn’t answering my text and was sending me straight to voicemail. It wasn’t until 4:52pm (I can screen shot the call log if you’d like) that he finally answered my call. He proceeded to argue with me about how I “as a customer shouldn’t be telling him what he needs to do,” and that I need to work with him on the time frame. Fine. Sunday rolls around and he tells me that my phone should be ready by that evening, however I don’t hear from him again until Monday morning April 20, 2015. Now Gerald/Joe is telling me that the polarizer on the screen is destroyed and needs to be replaced, which will take a week. I am understandably pissed at this point. Initially I okayed this, but changed my mind and ask him to return my phone so I can take it somewhere else to get fixed. He tells me, “The phone is in no condition to be taken somewhere else to be repaired.” He said, “We can put it back the best way we can and not charge you, wait a week for a new polarizer, or I can charge you wholesale for a new screen and you can have it back this evening.” Great business practices, right? He didn’t understand why I was upset or why he should discount the service. Some may not agree with me, but when a 2-hour job becomes 24 hours, then 48 hours, and then a week I think it’s time to discount the service; especially if the service provider is responsible for the inconvenience. Now I have to come out of pocket $150 for the new screen that Joe destroyed in the first place. If you use this guy (Gerald/Joe) for anything, be aware of the way he (Gerald/Joe) handles things when he (Gerald/Joe) screws up. And of course he wasn’t registered with the BBB, which he said he was; at least not under the name Computer Five. I’ll be filing a report with them anyway. Use them at your own risk. I will never use them again.
