Wow I have been so impressed with the deer burger I had made at Markwells this year. Ive been going there for years. They are always friendly and provide an awesome product.

Was our first time using this place and we are beyond impressed with the meat from our deer we had taken there. Very professional and clean facility. We got bologna, summer sausage and salami. I have never tasted something so yummy! I am anxious to try the breakfast deer sausage we got also but I am sure it will be delicious!

Ive used Markwells for six years in a row before I wrote a review and the bottom line is quality. Ive hunted all over North America and had my game meat processed in Alaska, Colorado, Utah and Iowa, but was never happier than when I got it done at Markwells. We are especially happy with their summer sausage. I would give them four stars, because I dont normally think anyone is perfect. I gave them five stars, because they are also Hunters for the Hungry processor, which is very important to me and so many other people in the Commonwealth. Thank you for what you do and I am bringing you another good buck tomorrow morning because youre Euro mounts are damn good for the money and of course - I like the way yall process my game meat. I couldn’t be happier that I chose Markwell’s. I called them real late at night on youth weekend opener 2017. Paul was willing to accept it that evening but told me if I iced his chest cavity it would be fine til Sunday morning. Not only were they willing to accept it late that night they caped it out Sunday and wouldn’t take a dime for it. They will get all my deer my family harvests going forward. Great people and good service. Plus they did a great job on the meat.

My family and I have been using Markwells Deer Processing for over 15 years now, they have a very clean environment inside and out, the work is professionally done, we feel safe eating this meat. Thank you and keep up the good work.

I went there last fall of 2016 not expecting a lot after the poor review on here, but they were awesome with the whole process/customer service/dropping off my deer/picking-up my meat and even gave me some some sample cheeseburger to try for free since I said that looked appetizing. There is a reason they always help KY Hunters For The Hungry and get numerous other KDFWR awards. I am going back until they give me a reason not to, so give them a try since I am glad I did!

I had to write this review about Markwells Deer Processing. My daughter killed her first deer over this last youth rifle weekend. I have always taken our kills too Markwell and have always had good service. But this time I have never been treated so rudely by a business taking my money for a service as I was by Markwell. Markwell has had my deer for over three weeks. I was told when I droped the deer off it would be two weeks. So yesterday I called them. I was told by the person I talked to that he would check on my deer and call me back. I never got that call so I called again leaving my name and phone number. Again I never got a return call so I called again leaving my Name and phone number. This afternoon someone called be back telling me that he did not have time for my whining on the phone about not being called back. He told me that he did try calling me and that no one answered. He then proceeded on telling me how he only had my deer for less then two weeks. Again telling me how I was whining and that my deer was done to come and get it. After all that I then mentioned that I dropped this deer off on Oct 9th not Oct. 22 like he was telling me. Markwell then seen that he had the wong Crawford. He seen that he has had my deer going on four weeks this weekend and it was not even done. Then still continued on telling me that he didnt have the time for my whining. This place will never get a deer from me again. I would encourage anyone wanting to get a deer done by a proceesser to steer clear of the rude business.
