Dennis C. - Switched to Alterra about a month ago. I have yet to see any insects alive in my house after not being sprayed for a few months. This being the first of my quarterly services, Christine was friendly and insightful. She answered all my questions and gave me an understanding of the process and time frame. I like to understand everything that is going on when it comes to my house, so huge bonus there.

Initial meeting: Chase did a great job in explaining what Alterra did and what I was to expect from their service, he answered all my questions and concerns.Initial service: Chris C. was great! He came over and introduced himself and explained what he was going to be doing for the initial service. The service itself took about 45 minutes to complete.Overall Im glad that I decided to go with Alterra. It has been about 2 and a half weeks since the initial service, and I have to say that I have not seen any bugs/insects around the house.Awesome job!

Mitch F. of sales was very friendly, informative, and gave us a great price. The technician, Ryan Y., who actually performed the pest control at our home was also friendly, informative, and answered all of my questions. I have a 3 year old at home and he helped allay my concerns about the chemicals used. I will recommend them to friends in the area. Thank you for a great customer experience!

Saleem was very attentive and answered all questions we had (there were a ton) - and was sure to double-check any areas we were concerned with in the house. Chris C was awesome, helpful, and friendly going through the sign up process and made everything a breeze. Weve already encountered a few dead bugs (eek!) but at least we know its working :) Thanks, guys! Looking forward to getting our home safe and sound and seeing the full results of our service.

I love my new pest control company- Alterra. I have yet to see a bug. I like that they dont have to come every month and spray. I hated having my baseboards inside covered every month. They have only had them spray outside and havent seen anything living yet. I also dont see dead bugs all over my porch either. I am so happy. My service guy Keve R., was so kind and personable (and willing to change out all my bug pads in the garage), Thank you so much.

Chris Topherson was great...we cancelled our previous service with a different company a few months back and were going to take over doing this ourselves. We received a knock on our door one night and it was Alterra...we decided to give them a try. Chris tackled the several wasps nests that we had lining the eaves of our house like a trooper (the battlefield as he called it). Great service and attitude (especially in over 100 degree heat!!) Will for sure let all of our family and friends know about you!

Alvin and Kyle were outstanding. It started with a thorough explanation of what they were going to do. Without delay they completed their outside tasks and then covered the specific areas inside the home. Thorough, efficient and especially courteous.

Worst company ever. Ty and Gerardo are absolutely no help. These people come out of nowhere to your home no call, no show and expect to bill and charge you. Theyll lock you into a contract and try to pursue you to spend more money. Gerardo tried convincing me to keep my services by telling me some nonsense that the chemicals they use helps keep viruses away without an explanation about how it actually works. Okay????? Ty just makes it sound like Thats that. Horrible customer service. Sounds like shes dealed with these calls before. By trying to convince me to lower my services they kept pushing the price lower... From $99 a month to $59 a month. Okay, so if youre able to push my services that low, why didnt you charge me that price before? Gerardo the service manager even admitted that they need a better notification system.WOW!!!!!! I am going to CONTINUE THIS REVIEW!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE.These people are liars and crooks! Im going to get my lawyer involved in this because this whole system is disorganized and they charged my account without any services & broke their word. Please safe yourself the headache and dont sign up with these people. First off, THEY CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY CONSENT & NEVER SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE AKA I paid $160 for NO REASON without a signature! They claimed they came to my home without a call/notice and charged my card. They dont VERIFY a day with you, they just come and charge your account. Guess what? Originally I was paying around $99 a month, when I complained to the manager Gerardo he said he would bump my payment down to $59 a quarter/yr. I said OK, sure. But.... why werent you charging that originally? At this point I didnt want to cancel my membership, but wow am i disappointed that these people charged my card for the cancellation fee and cancelled my account when I agreed to keep it for $59 a quarter/yr. Please find yourself another pest control company and save yourself the headache.

Keve R came out today and did excellent work and paid special care to areas I told him may be key entry points for insects. I appreciate good customer service and would like him to be recognized for his diligent work.Also after the second visit by Alterra techs I have had zero issue with insects!

WOW!!!!!!the prices are great ... my old company came once a month and i still had bugs but happy to have changed to Alterra. They even will come anytime and re spray if need @ no extra charge! i havent seen bugs since thanks to Gerardo Z.Catalina O.

Christopherson was great! He came out did his job professionally and made sure he explained what he did. He cleaned the webs before he worked. He did everything in a timely manner and was very nice and approachable. He gave us the best service Ive seen in a while.

Christopherson was friendly, listened to where the bug and pest problems were and went to work. He was very thorough going through and spraying each room of the house and then the garage and the front/back yards. I have never had a pest control company spray and brush the outside screens/window edges and was really impressed with that. I would recommend this company!

Keve R came this morning and was very polite, he sprayed our front yard and backyard! He also cleaned ALL of the spider webs that was on our chairs in our back yard and in our path way to our front door! I find dead cockroaches randomly out front of our house! Santiago does a very good job. He was here for quarterly service, it rained for several days following, I noticed some bugs. He returned and did a complete do over. He is polite and courteous.

I had Terminix for a few years prior to switching to Alterra. I felt Alterra was on the same level of Terminix, but just a friendlier experience overall. Christine S. came over and sprayed, and she was great & very thorough in her spraying the perimeters. Provided me glue traps as well since i keep them around the house as an extra layer of protection. Personally, Alterra overall experience is just better from a customer service point of view, from their front office to there techs.

We have been using Alterra since we have moved into our new house. They have been fantastic! Keve R. explains everything so well and is very thorough. He is very professional and we appreciate how efficient he is.

Our initial service work, provided by Keve R. and Mike T. was most satisfactory. They showed up on a timely basis, explained what they intended to do, and did so exactly as they explained they would. We were pleased with their performance and gratified to see that they did their work in a timely and efficient manner.

Keve R. was there to do my pest service promptly on the day scheduled, even though it was raining. He told me that the granules actually activate from the rain so it was a good day to take care of the service. Ive been impressed with my interactions with Alterra thus far as a customer, they even came out very quickly on a return visit to kill a wasp nest for me, which was much appreciated.

Anthony Thomson and Jonathan Sanchez did our first treatment using Alterra. They did a great job of showing me (in detail) how the traps worked so that I felt that even my smallest dog would not be at risk.

Terrible service. They provide a quarterly service for the same rates as a monthly service. Service unfortunately does not last the full 3 months and you have to call for essentially monthly retreatments. So if you want a pest control company that does not get rid of your pest then you should call Alterra - oh and if you threaten to cancel they will not come out to do a retreatment even though you have already paid for the full 3 months and they do not plan on refunding you the money.

Our Service Pro was Keve R. He was fantastic. Very helpful and professional! He was very knowledgeable and kind. He went above and beyond what we had expected. My son (7) is severly allergic to Ants and they had recently invaded our kitchen. My son wasnt able to go anywhere near the kitchen. Since we had service and Keve helped get rid of them its been way better. He was really stoked to be able to go into the kitchen again. He did a happy dance and everything. NO MORE ANTS! Thank you Keve and thank you Alterra for your awesome service. You really have made my boy happy.
