March 11, 2021A technician came out to fix our leaking washing machine. He quickly identified the problem; had the part to fix it; and also fixed another potential problem before it became a problem. I highly recommend this company.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAMMER! Bought a refrigerator and it stopped cooling after 2 months. Thought it just may need a shot of freon, so called my appliance repair guy. He said that there was a major freon leak. He packed up and left. When I contacted the owner that sold us the refrigerator, he said our warranty was voided because we had someone else work on the refrigerator. WE DID NOT! The repair person we saw did not do any repairs, whatsoever, to the unit. The owner could not have been ruder or more condescending to me. So, unless you have money to throw away, stay away from here.

I purchased a GE washer about three weeks ago. Of course I didn’t read the reviews until after my purchase. I got worried.My washer was delivered the next day, as scheduled. The delivery drivers/installers were clean, courteous, helpful, and quick. I had an old washer in place where the new one would go. It was filled with water. The gentleman removed it and in doing so water went everywhere! Not a problem for me as the laundry room is out in my screened porch but the poor guy got soaked. He took it in stride. I was apologizing profusely but he was more concerned about the water on my patio and even offered to clean it up.So fast forward, I called a few days ago with a minor issue with the washer leaking water into the drum. “No problem, I’ll send someone out, we’ll try for tomorrow if not Monday.” Awesome, I thought.So Monday turned out to be Tuesday. No big deal, they kept me informed. I asked them to give me a call with a 30 min window which they did. Another super polite tech. Turns out, the issue is my lack of a hot water supply. They still honored their warranty.I gotta say, the whole situation has been wonderful.

GO TO THE GUY DOWN THE STREET FROM HIM!I only used this place because my first choice for business were sold out. Im convinced these high rated reviews were paid for, this is the most unprofessional business Ive encountered. He literally tried to scam me for a washer that broke twice within the 90 day warranty and thought I was going to pay $170 to have it fixed. After threatening a Civil suit he then tried to make it seem like he did me favor by fixing what he was legally obligated to fix.

I Was told at date of purchase my fridge would be delivered that day. I was called at the end of the day and told it could not be delivered and I would have to wait until after the holidays. I was told I would be at the front of the truck. After the holiday I took off that morning to be home for delivery. I was then notified that afternoon that actually they were not going to be able to deliver that day and I would be the first delivery the next day around 10:00. I expressed my frustration and was assured I would be first. The next morning, after I took off again, I waited until 11:00 and called because I still had not received and was told I was 3rd on truck and it would be closer to 2:00. I again expressed my concern, but had paid for the refrigerator and already took the time off. I could not have the water line hooked up when they arrived due to them not having a hook up. I was told to get a hook up and they could hook it up. I had to wait until my work had spring break so I didn’t have to take more time off work. When I called I let them know I had someone else hook up the water line as I had to have it ran through the cabinet, but was told something was wrong with the fridge. I contacted them ( which I know was out of the 30 day labor) when I explained the situation the man was willing to give me a labor discount, but I was not willing to pay even more for them to fix the fridge they never proved worked. When I explained how frustrating it all was and the issue with delivery and how I could not recommend them, the gentleman on the phone rudely stated you waited 3 months to complain about delivery well do what you have to do. He was so rude I just hung up as I do not pay for items to then be talked to in that manner. I have worked retail and word of mouth and customer service meant something. If you can’t guarantee your product it is not the fault of the customer.

Good place to do business with, if you have any issues in the first 90 days they will get it handled for you. I appreciated the service, and most importantly my new-to-me dryer works great.

I purchased a fridge almost a year ago now for $900 plus $50 set up and delivery. This was actually a discount since I know the owner and paying cash. I have had issues with the fridge since day one. When I told the owner he said “that’s the fridge you wanted”. What I wanted was a working fridge since my old fridge stopped working. I had approximately 6 appointments for repair and they only showed up a few times. I had taken time off work and my day and the fridge is still not working 100%. Most recently I have called 6 times in a matter of a few weeks and no one has returned my calls. My current issue has been that it makes ice but doesn’t drop, water works sometimes, the thing beeps almost everyday 24hrs a day as if the doors not shut all the way. The temperature may stay the same inside, I’m not sure but the the reading on the panel fluctuates temperature. I have asked several times for an exchange and I was told there was nothing compatible. They do not offer returns, only repairs and exchanges. I am very disappointed of the way I was treated, that friendship has ended. I had purchased washer and dryers in the past with little issues but this fridge has been a nightmare.

Do not waste your money. I purchased a no warranty used appliance two weeks ago. They claim they placed a brand new motor in the refrigerator I purchased. The appliance lasted about two weeks before the motor went bad. I highly recommend that you do not take a chance with them.

Was able to choose a washer and dryer....in great shape....and spent alot less than other places. I was out of there in a short amount of time with delivery and set-up arranged. The girl that waited on us was very pleasant and efficient at her job!! Would recommend this business for appliances.

Stopped in for a washer and dryer set, the gentleman that helped was friendly and professional. He gave me a great deal and it took all of about 5 minutes to purchase and set up delivery. Their products are guaranteed and come with a warranty, so i wasnt concerned I was being sold a lemon unlike on Craigslist or Facebook. I definitely recommend this store to anyone shopping for used appliances that will last. Parking is a little tight, so if you have a big truck, you best be good at maneuvering!

Just bought a stacked washer dryer from here, I have only used it once but so far so good. Per the reviews, issues will happen with used appliances, but the owner and his service members are truly good people. It seems like if there is an issue that they will go above and beyond to uphold their reputation. In my opinion most people who complained on here just don’t understand what buying a “used appliance” means, it means you’re saving hundreds of dollars but taking a risk since the appliances aren’t brand new straight from the factory floor. Things go wrong even with new appliances, but the fact remains they sell their appliances “as is” and make sure that once it’s installed in your home, that it is working as it should be. So if something goes wrong after installation then of course they can’t be held liable. Honestly, I would just be appreciative that the owner had offered to replace the defunct appliance or repair it for such a low rate. As a contractor my boss can’t send me out on a job unless he can cover my pay, even if that means he makes nothing, he will still pay me. This is the impression I got from the owner, he isn’t making anything off the repairs when he sends someone out to fix these issues after the fact, but he does need to cover their time. Most of the bad reviews are from people who missed appointments, and when I spoke with the owner, he made it abundantly clear that if I didn’t answer my phone on the day of delivery that I would have to reschedule based on THEIR availability. So yes it sucks spending $500-$1000 on a used appliance only to find out there are issues after the fact. But, be grateful that the owner is willing to go above and beyond to fix those issues, when he is not contractually or legally obligated to do anything. Especially when it is the consumer that takes the risk buying a used appliance, it’s the cost of doing business. I’ve shopped at a few different used appliance stores before and not one of them have the service mentality like that, they sell it as is and if there is any issue after it’s installed, that’s on you. Be grateful that there is a warranty, and that the owner is at least willing to try to make it right. In my book, that is more than what most would do.

Wow...Im looking for a good used washer but some of the review responses by the owner have turned me way away.....thank you in advance.Seem to me you have lost a friend and customer AND potential customers over a couple hundred measly dollars when you should have just replaced it....yells me you didn want that junk back either...Period... Positive experience getting a washer and dryer until it started leaking water not even a week in. They came and fixed it after multiples times having to ask them to come. Later, the washer had power issues and wouldn’t turn on. Asked them to fix it for over 2 weeks and they kept lying to me saying they would come at specific times and would never show up. Receptionist even had the audacity to try and snap at me saying the issue was my fault. I’m having to call Gulf Coast Appliance Repair as I type this because I will never choose this company again.

If I could leave 0 stars and still write a review I would. We bought an appliance from them the beginning of May with a 30-day warranty. The freezer was missing clasps for the shelves, it wasnt cleaned, the seal was broken so the door opened up and we lost quite a bit of food. When we tried to get this fixed, they have been uncooperative. They wanted us to bring back this 300+ pound appliance so they could look at it. We were told the owner was going to call us and he never did. The guy running the place said hes just a friend helping out so Im not even sure how much he knows about the appliance business. No one is available to come to our house to fix this and there is no way I trust this business not to keep the appliance and act like we never made the purchase. Extremely shady. Ive contacted the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau to try to get resolve. All we wanted is to return this and get our money back and they wont do it.If you need appliances, this is the last place Id go.

Worst used appliance store ever, fridge is freezing beverages even after being turned to the warmest setting. Made an appointment, left work got home then I get a call that they werent able to make it, we live less than a mile away. Make new appointment they never show and never call.

I purchased a used refrigerator from this company for a rental property. This is what the tenent sent to me. they. What a health risk... Would you do business with them?

Do yourself a favor. Stay clear of this company. Like a previous review, this lesson cost me approx. $600! The refrigerator I purchased from them went bad within 2 months (of course outside of the warranty). Had them come out and TRY to repair which cost close to $100. After months of waiting on a part, finally they replaced it with another piece of junk refrigerator that stopped working shortly thereafter. Oh, I guess I should also add all the food that I lost to the true cost. When I called again, the only response I got was....Hmmm, I guess youre frustrated. HORRIBLE customer service. Youve been warned.....

Tech comes out to clean drain line from a fridge I bought a year prior charges $187.25 for a repair that didnt work, owners says he will come out and look. Told me to let drain completely and if it dont work will pay me back for the repair that was not fixed. Today he told me he never stated. Very awful service and the owner is a liar.

If I could give a 10 star rating I would! I have been doing business with this company for over 10 years and send people to them all of the time! They have very fair pricing and quick service. If I have ever had any issues they come out and rectify them in a timely fashion! Great company with a great staff of people.

Had the best experience purchasing a washer and dryer. Owner and staff were wonderful to work with. Received fast delivery and set up. I just went through a stressful move and appreciated them taking care of me. I recommend going there FIRST for any appliance purchase.

Run run run as fast as you can this place is a total rip off paid for an appliance broke within one month three visits later and nobody came out as promised not sure what’s going on at this place but do not do not ever shop here this place will never come to fix your appliance they just take your money they need to be shut down as fast as they can be shut down do not spend your money here or you will never get customer service very unorganized very unprofessional not sure why or how they’re even open for business

Scam artists. Sold me a washer/dryer that doesnt work. They came out to repair it and when they left it still didnt work. I called back, they answered and we spoke for about 10 seconds before I explained who I was and then Jim suddenly couldnt hear me and hung up on me. I tried to call back and got sent straight to voicemail. They do not honor their warranty and when you bring up a problem if they cant fix it and you leave a bad review they respond and make stuff up saying how the problem was your fault and not theirs at all. Horrible business.

I recently bought a house and needed a washer and dryer. Ads from appliance companies showed prices higher than I wanted to pay. Two friends of mine both mentioned PCRA saying that is where they bought stuff and the price was much lower, and their appliances worked great since they got them. I went to the location in Largo and Ryan and Warren were both very helpful, and not at all pushy. They let me choose the set I liked best and went out of their way to help me get it delivered as soon as possible. Jeff, the delivery person, was great too. He even called the next day to make sure I was happy and to remind me they have a 1 year warranty. I will definitely recommend them to everyone, and buy my next appliances from them too-why pay so much more for something that will last for years when you can get it for so much less?

I experienced excellent service from Pinellas County Refridgeration & Appliance! Jeff came out to repair my refrigerator. At the last minute I told him that my washing machine wasnt working properly so he took a look at it and gave me the best deal on repairing that also. Jeff is a very nice, courteous, and reliable person and you can tell that he loves what he does and making customers happy!! I will only go with Pinellas County Refrigeration and would recommend them to anyone!

Bought a washer and dryer for one of my rentals but dryer doesnt heat up. Called and called but apparently they consider it working if the dryer simply spins. After reading other reviews on here and elsewhere, the savings arent worth the headache.

Needed a part for a fridge at work. To be exact it was a water line connector for a door that had become damaged. I had stopped at a couple other mom and pop stores and even 2 big name stores to no avail. It was a little frustrating given how basic this part was.As soon as I walked in I was greeted and he immediately knew the part I was after unlike the others that I had to literally show them. I had the part in my hand in less than 30 seconds. The price for the part was beyond fair and even that 80% tip the price still would have beat what I saw, Haha! :) The shop (owner?) was very friendly and you instantly sense he cares about what he is doing. For a brick and mortar store with high overhead costs this store beat anything I could do ealsewhere. I will be back with measurements in hand to get that microwave I was eyeballing.Thanks for making what could have been a tough Friday a good one! I will send customers your way exclusively!

Horrible service and product!!! I bought a refrigerator for my mom for mothers day. The owner came out after several calls and said it is not fixable to say to pick out another one at the store to charge her $75 extra. On top of that, the new one has not worked since she has gotten it and the repair guy had charged her $125. Now this is months later the fridge is still not working and another person tried charging her another $125. I call to try and sort things out and they guy on the phone said the owner is not there. So $200 later, what was supposed to be a PRESENT for my mom is now a disaster!! She had to throw everything away twice, pay $200, and it is still not fixed!! Never will I recommend or buy ANYTHING from this place again.

This company sold me a solid washing machine when I was on a fixed income. The washing machine worked good for 3 months but had an issue with a pump bearing and made abnormally loud noises. When I contacted the company the actual owner himself (Jeff Garitson) came out within two business days to replace the bearing with no questions asked. He was apologetic and now my washing machine is working perfectly ..... since then Ive referred friends for repairs at their homes and referred others for appliances for themselves with no issues to be found. Beware of buying an appliance here. This guy sold me what he said was a new scratch and dent refrigerator for $475. It never worked right. After several weeks of them trying to repair it and losing a lot of moneys worth of food that had spoiled because the freezer kept going off, I finally told him I wanted to give it back for a refund. He took it back but refused to give me a refund at that point, but told me that as soon as he sold it he would refund me the money. I found out a couple of weeks later that he did resell the refrigerator, which means he was paid twice fir the same appliance. When I asked him for my money after that, he said he would give me $150. I have contacted him several times asking for the money he agreed to give me, but have just been ignored. This is not a man of his word.

Terrible Experience. I ordered refrigerator for my tenets june 22nd. They delivered a refrigerator that didnt work on the 25th. There was a failed attempt to deliver on july 3rd. By now my tenets have not had a refrigerator for 11 days. No good. The owner now is going to charge me $100 extra to deliver a refrigerator that hopefully works. No thanks i will never give this company money again. I decided to dispute the charge because of failure to deliver a working refrigerator. I called lows got a NEW refrigerator for $450 free next day delivery. My tenets will get a new refrigerator tomorrow from lows. This lesson cost me $250 what i paid for a refrigerator that doesnt work. If you decide to buy from this company deliver it your self and pray that the refrigerator works. Have a nice day.

Dont bother calling. Was supposed to have service call for Friday its now Monday no call back for confirmation. When I callled to check on appointment was assured someone would call to confirm waited 2 hours called them back now they have no record of my calling in the first place. Skip.

Im in a different customer service business but when one of my techs disconnected a stove door by mistake I made 1 call to set up service and literally within 1 hour they had my customer happy and I would recommend to everyone.
