Dont usually make it this way as I live uptown St. Pete. Was in the area meeting a friend for a beach day. Petes Barber Shop showed up on nearby and I gave it a try. Im glad I did. Franco is the man! Hands down, best haircut Ive ever had. Great conversation and laid back, cool guy. Definitely tenured in the industry. The place was clean... all that good stuff. I got my hair cut by a woman named mindy.This is the second time and she does my hair perfectly shes nice and does her job with passion.I definitely recommend coming here I definitely will again.

I called at approximately 5:20 pm. I told the guy that answered the phone that it might take me 20 minutes to get there. He said & I quote Dont worry well get you in. Granted I got there at 5:50. That same guy I assume told me they closed at 5:45 PM. Told me he never said Dont worry well get you in, told me to come back tomorrow & I think he followed me to my car. If he had told about her 5:45 closing, I would not have bothered because Petes is a cash only business. Also when I said I have American Indian hair. I have really straight hair. Do you only do clipper cuts. Pete said no. We cut Puerto Ricans hair. Lol

I am one who prefers consistency when choosing a barber. My preference has always been Nicole, but when she is too busy or not there, you can count on Emiliano and Sharon. Very positive and friendly atmosphere! Prices are good.

I took my 6 year old son here for a cut and let the lady know he had gel in his hair she said it wouldn’t be a problem I assumed she would wash it or wet it but she proceeded to comb it even tho my son said it hurt then just took the clippers to my sons hair! He started crying she didn’t seem to care that she was hurting my son so I put a stop to the cut and took him to a barber that knows what they are doing ! Ps she was the manager! I will never go back and will be sure to tell all my friends and family about our experience there!

This place was hopping when I visited. I would imagine its always busy. All the barbers seem to really take great pride in what they do. I got a great fade from a lovely lady (Nicole). Great energy, great price, great cut.

Pretty much the only place I go to get my haircuts. They consistently do a great job. The only downside is when it gets busy its sometimes confusing who is the next up for a haircut. If you arent totally paying attention, youll get skipped over

I have been looking for a barber since moving into Florida. This place has six barbers on stand by to help! I dont wait long.. its a sports memorabilia theme shop. I found my shop thats affordable and still shaves your neck.

I walked in sat down waiting for a barber I was the only guest waiting at the time, there was an open barber who walked outside after seeing me there. Another guest walked in sat down after I had been there for five minutes, barber walks back in and ask him to step up to his booth. The lack of respect and customer service was just unacceptable. This was my second time here as first time was for a beard trim when I first found them. I wanted to give my money to a local small business but they obviously did not want it. Would not recommend for a younger crowd as I was ignored the whole time.

I had passed this place a hundred times but never went in, you know how it gets when you find a barber you like... But one day i decided to get a hair chop here and i was quickly a new customer. Theres about 6 barber stations which youd never guess by looking at the outside so even though it was a busy Saturday morning i only waited about 3 minutes before a very freindly Puerto Rican asked if i was ready. The cut was great, the atmosphere was fun, the price was fantastic, and Ill definitely be going back. You do get a traditional straight razer neck shave at the end of your cut, what else can you ask for in a barber shop? Maybe a beer? But seriously, surpisingly great barber shop!
