Last year my car was making a funny singing noise. I happened to be next to a repair shop, when it got really bad. I asked the mechanic if he could look at it & how much to fix it. After an hour of checking he told me my transmission was ready to go any time. He told me it would be around $2000 to fix including labor. I freaked out. Im a retired woman on a fixed income & I was at his mercy. I was getting ready for a road trip & needed my car in good working condition.The next day I stopped at Johns Auto repair for a second opinion. Thank goodness I did. After 10 min he told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my transmission....it only needed more fluid. He even checked all my other fluids & even my tires so I could a worry free trip! What a friendly honest man! I highly recommend JOHNS AUTO REPAIR to all my friends & family. 5 star!!!!

Moved here from New York and I was looking for a trustworthy mechanic. Went to a Dealership only to get screwed ( they didnt replace rotary like they claimed !) And the bill was 340.00 ! I have been taking my cars to John for close to 8 years and one thing I know for certain is that his work is impeccable, professional, and honest. The most recent experience I had with John is when my 2012 Chevy Equinox had a check engine light come on. I checked the code myself with an OBD II reader that I had to get some sort of idea what the error was. When I took the car to him, he hooked his diagnostic machine to the car and did his research. He told me what the problem was and that since it was 2012 it might still be under Chevys Powertrain Warranty and to call the dealership to find out. I wanted to pay him for the research and diagnostics and he refused. This type of service does NOT happen at most or nearly all other repair facilities. If you searching for a new mechanic or are tired of being taken advantage of, look no further. John will ALWAYS treat you with respect, dignity and a friendly attitude.

Our family has been taking 4 different vehicles to John for over four years now. He recently sanity checked a dealer suggested list of Items totaling over $4,000 on an Acura many of which were upsale items. He took care of the important things and made recommendations for when we get to 105,000 miles. This is just an isolated instance of his integrity. In the past he has diagnosed issues at no charge that were covered by manufacturers warranty and saved us quite a bit of money. He is more than reasonable when it comes to parts pricing, sticks to the quotes he gives, communicates, and its ready when he tells you it will be ready. These days, integrity is hard to find. Cant go wrong with John, but he leaves the seat waaay back, so be careful when you get in your car! ;-)

Johns Quality Automotive performs repairs and service properly the first time at a very significant cost savings. It is for this reason that I have reccomended it to all of my friends and family.Recently, I discovered that the catalytic converter on my sports-car was causing performance issues. I purchased a new aftermarket high-performance catalytic converter and asked John to install it. After I dropped the car off, John went the extra mile to research the root cause of the catalytic converter failure. Ultimately, working with the dealer and General Motors Corporation, he was able to assist me in getting a new, NO-COST replacement OEM catalytic converter (Saving $1200) . He was also able to assist me in returning the new after market one that I had just purchased (Saving $390).I later learned that his experience had lead him to question aftermarket CCs and that this concern prompted him to research the core issue. He ensured the best possible result for my cars performance and my wallet. I am so glad that he was looking out for me.This shop lives up to its name!
