Rolf and his team are stand up folks with many years of solid experience. The fact that Rolf is an owner/mechanic, you can communicate directly with him and he is reasonable. However, I do feel that these guys have slight difficulty managing newer model cars. Particularly newer imports which is my experience. I personally ran into issues that required repeated fixes after a few misdiagnoses on their part that resulted in a lot of time spent on my behalf, and for them as well. Particularly a problem installing a timing chain correctly which can cause major issues to performance and safety. This stemmed from the use of after market parts on their behalf that failed, so ask questions. I have since decided to change my mechanic for my 2011 Audi Q5 to a German specialized shop.As of 3/16/21, Rolf has admitted to the issue and has agreed to compensate for the faults. Which is why I continue to believe Rolfs group are honest people.

These guys stepped up, fit us in their busy schedule and got the job done in a timely manner and we were back on the road with my family in no time.Very knowledgeable staff!

My wife and I have taken two totally different vehicle here; Toyota Highlander & a Ford E-250 work van. In each case we have been treated fairly and had things explained to us from the mechanics. My only discouragement would be that an estimated price typically falls short of the final price, and if extra work or parts becomes needed, there is no phone call explaining a need for extra cost. I’ve come in prepared to pay a $300-$350 estimate then given a $570 invoice due on the spot. LuckilyI was able to pay that time, and I understand the extra expense, however, a phone call to give me a heads up about a significant difference would have been extremely appreciated.The work here is sound and reasonable and we will definitely continue to use them, but I will be wary and vigilant in watching for unexpected costs on future projects.

I went to frontrange automotive to get a used car I was going to buy checked out. Upon arrival, theres a welcome committee of two cute puppies who run out super excited and slobbery. Its adorable. The secretary remembered me from a friend who frequented there, they treated me like a familiar and it was really welcoming. I truly felt like my business was appreciated. Several people (who are familiar with or have worked in the auto industry) have recommended this place to me because of their honesty. These guys wont overcharge you, they know what they are doing and are super friendly. I got an estimate and inspection for free because the car needed work and I wanted them to do all the mechanical work. All over, nice people cute puppies great fairly priced service.

Front Range Automotive is by far the best automotive repair shop in Lakewood. The mechanics are very educated and the staff is friendly and great at communicating. Prices are great, I would never take my vehicles anywhere else for repair. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I took my car here to have a headlight that wasnt working looked at and the they told me it was most likely the igniter if the new headlight wasnt working and I asked how much it would be to replace it and Chris looked up the part and said it was a hundred dollar part and labor would be another 75 dollars. He gave me a estimate of 200 dollars. I agreed and set a appointment for Tuesday. I came on Tuesday morning and spoke to another man (maybe the owner) and he said he had to order the part so I waited awhile and the part came and he replaced it and the headlight came back on so we go inside to settle the bill and he handed me a bill for 418.00 double what I expected to pay.... Maybe he ordered the part from a different place then where Chris had looked.... I dont know but I wish I could have gave 5 stars but I just felt taken advantage of.

Rolf and his team did plenty of trouble shooting - and now my little baby is humming as if she were brand new.This is a business that really CARES about its customers. They picked me up and dropped me off when I was stuck - always asked a ton of questions - and gave me honest estimates.You may need to wait a day or two for an appointment - but its worth the wait when you have superior customer service and technicians you can TRUST.
