Pretty good selection of meats, fairly priced for the quality as well. The frozen section is also nice, they have prime steaks, Excellent pre pattied burgers as well as spices. The fresh section is really cool, mainly because its in a walk in! My favorite things are the beef sticks, theyre to die for. They occasionally have smoked beef bones for dogs, my pup loves em. I cant comment on their processing, but Im sure it amazing. If youre looking for a nice place to pick up some meats, then check it out, just remember to leave me some!

I called to place an order and Steve, the owner, answered and wasnt friendly at all. My family have been buying meat from Beutlers for decades. Not anymore. I should also mention that many of their items are bought from local meat processing factories and repackaged for 2-4 times the price you can buy the same meat elsewhere.

I needed a Brisket. Not any Brisket, but one that would be worthy of a Christmas Dinner. I could have gone several other places here in Lafayette. I had not tried Butlers before. I walked in to Butlers on the Thursday before Christmas. I asked if they had a brisket. I was ushered into the cooler and shown their briskets in stock. I chose a beautiful, 7.5lb Point cut. When I got it home, I prepared the cut for my cook and actually started the 48 hour Sous Vide cook on Saturday morning. On Christmas Morning, at 7am I loaded it into the smoker and smoked it for 3 hours. At 10am I wrapped it in foil and then a towel and placed it in a cooler. 3 hours later it was carved and served to my friends and family. Wow, melt in your mouth brisket. A great outcome needs to start with a quality cut of meat. Ill be buying more from Butlers. Can I post a picture?

Great selection off meat. Only place in town I will buy meat that has been wrapped in freezer paper and frozen. Employees are helpful and very nice.

Beutler Meats has been doing business with my family for many years and is a great place for Meat processing. They do a tremendous job and are very timely and extremely skilled at what they do. They catering and food is great as well.

This was a great disappointment: 1. I needed some ground pork or beef. They only have FROZEN meat. 2. Like in any supermarket, older stuff on the first row, newer stuff at the back. And with a smile on the face the seller throws in your bag the old stuff. I think it is at least awkward to go to the butcher and buy frozen meat, packed more than a month and a half ago. Simply not worth it. Otherwise, staff was courteous.

Meat processing plant that you can buy directly. Love the ground beef. Have pork, beef, spices, etc. Will be back.
