Overall Iβm very satisfied with my experience. All of the employees where very helpful and nice. Especially their employee Jesse, he was very helpful and made sure I got the best deal and made sure to even help me load my door into my vehicle. He was very nice and had great customer service. Coming from someone who works with customers all day I give him props for the great attitude and willingness to make his customers have a good experience when they arenβt to sure what they are doingπ. Every place needs employees who are great with customers itβs key to making people come back.
Great place. Should have just about everything your looking for. At decent prices. Fast getting in and out. Kinda hot right now. So bring some water or something. Beginning of August
Great place to get parts for your vehicle. I went this past week and was able to get many parts for several of my vehicle. Thanks to the jack that once showed me this place. π
Jesse is an amazing employee. He was very helpful and respectful.. one of the best employees Ive met here so far..... if could i could Id give him a 10 star..
Zane at @Pull-A-Part Lafayette is the true definition of customer service with a smile. Zane worked in the midst of a down pour of a shower to get the part I needed. Zane you are appreciated! Thanks for going the extra mile!!!Sharon
Pull-A-Part Lafayette is always a reliable place to get used parts. Jesse was very helpful and professional. The service is always great I would definitely recommend.
Great for do it yourselfers. DIY. Cheapest way for me and others who have tools and google. Thanks.
The people are very friendly and helpful. Easy to navigate and ORGANIZED. JESSE WAS very patient with nice.
Friendly people the golf cart was great to get around in it just didnt have brakes but was good to have. Will definitely return.
I was stuck with a dead battery at pull a part and Jessie helped me put a new battery on!!Thanks so much π
Craig was super helpful when I needed a copy of my bill of sale a few months later!!! Everyone was very nice when interacting during the sale, including the tow truck driver - very easy & quick!
Great staff, and a large selection of vehicles.
Too bad the security harasses you out of the place thirty minutes before they close. Lots of hard working men there trying to get important pieces for their job/personal vehicles and they expect everyone out the yard by 5
Hard to find areas your looking for even with location paper, doesnt let you bring in power tools only hand tools
Ask for the employee named Jesse heβs a big help!
So much thrash, needed organization to prevent injury. My adult son tripped & cut the palm of his hand bad enough to get stitches.
Great place for late model parts.
There is never the right car Im looking for especially a gbody
Lots of autos to try and find what you are looking for. Only thing I wish is that they would also have someone there the can take the part off for you if you dont know how to do it. And they can charge a fee for doing that. I And so many people I know would be willing to pay for that service. Thank About it! I bet you would make Alot more money doing that. π
Good place to find Automobile Parts
Good to go to but most parts are cheap but some are outrageous
Same as most days. Hot & plenty of walking. But, efficient & Economical.
Very thorough in providing me the information I needed .
Their website and their physical site (Laffyett location) are polar opposites! Online they advertise that they have an abundance of auto parts but when I got there its more like an empty bone yard. I drove from north of Lake Charles over an hour for basically nothing. I was very disappointed. Definitely wont be going back!!
They charge exorbitant prices for sub par used parts, and then they offer extremely low-ball prices for your car with no negoation. And they charged me for a part 3x what the actual price of the part I was buying. This place is a joke of an operation and I will be buying from LKQ from now on.
The prices are very good. Organized and friendly
First time customer, now a long time fan. I went looking for a special bolt on a 12 yr old car. They had it! They printed out the area the donor car was located and a few minutes later I was retrieving parts. The whole operation was surprisingly organized, efficient and convenient. I think they are a great service to the community.
Staff was very nice & helped me get what I needed! Thanks
Staff wasnt friendly. Inventory needs to be updated. Most vehicles are totally stripped.
Great prices, easy to navigate yard and friendly staff.
I love this place but theres a couple of people that work there that arent that cool.
It was just fine. Not really a lot of shade to park under but other than that it was fine.
Its ok just never have what i need.!!!!
Super easy to deal with. Gave me a reasonable offer for my car, the lady I spoke with was a sweetheart and helpful. When the towing company picked up, they were actually early--was told a window of like 8am to 5pm--not a big deal. Seriously, Id sell a car to them again in a heartbeat. Easy peasy
Fun experience with my husband, of course you have to do it yourself, but price is right. Hopefully parts will fit. Dont forget to bring your own tools! Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, the ground is full of rocks.
Kool
Love that place so muchππ½ππ½ππ½. Pull a Part Lafayette is helpful, kind and friendly. Everytime i go there itβs so much fun. The two girls there make it so much fun. I feel like family basically when i go with my husband. I just wanted to say thanks to the staff there . Especially Zane, Antoine, Maragret and Jackie. They always willing to help in every way..
1st time visiting a junkyard very well organized and staff was very friendly I will be coming back again
Ok had to put one star but they dont deserve it cant get a person on the phone.
I love going to Pull-A-Part. And I particularly like this store Ive been to others this one is the best. The staff is not only friendly but they go out of their way to make sure that when I need some help theyre there to do just that. Good folks like Zane and Kenneth make that store what it is.
Huge lot, huge selection, and well organized.
A few days ago I backed into an electricity pole and shattered my tail light. The dealership wanted to charge my $167 for just the part. My sister in law suggested Pull-A-Part. I have to say I was skeptical, because I had a preconceived notion of what a βjunkyardβ was. Iβm so glad I went!!!!! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! I had no idea what I was doing. They helped me locate the car I needed and even helped me to take the tail light off, because I couldnβt. I could not get over how friendly everyone was. The total was $25!!! I tried to leave a tip, but was told they canβt accept them. Now I have a new headlight and a 30 day exchange if it doesnβt fit. Thank you!!!!
Love this place a big thanks to Margaret for going drop my suburban off so I wouldnβt have to walk in the mud !!!
Awesome people good prices!
Found what I needed at a great price
Friendly people with great attitudes love going to that place thanks for Margaret she was so friendly with a smile on her face
Went with my wife..she had good time was hesitant of going there ,but finding the parts I needed. Saved me alot of money. Will go Back soon. It was fun getting what I was finding.better have tools needed getting job done.
Lafayette la cashier are the best fast n friendlyteam work at its best...
Great....well everything but the heat. Very nice, helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again when the time occurs.
They are very friendly and a big thanks to margaret and jacqueline for their great customer service i would definitely go back great stuff at great prices
Im at pull a part several times a week. Its clean. Cars are lifted so every thing is easy to get to, and theres no other place you can get a complete engine with all the accessories for $250 and $100 for their transmissions with the torque comverter. Its like six flags for me.
Very helpful
Pretty alright place. Usually update their stuff pretty well. Rad
The system is great for finding amazingly cheap parts if you are willing to endure the heat of searching for your car on the huge lot, and you are good with removing parts with tools. It would be helpful if you PAP guys would update the info on the cars on the lot. When you search for a car on your website, there is a menu for filling in details of the car, when you click on the little Blue i, next to the car, i.e-MobileRow 1052002 Toyota CamryDoors:Type:Exterior:Interior:Fabric:EngineEngine Size:Number of Cylinders:Aspiration:Fuel Type:Cam Type:Valves: 0TransmissionTransmission Type:Transmission Gears:Transmission Details:If someone needs a certain color, for example, it could save a trip for us if it was a different color than we need, for say a bumper or something, especially if its located in a city a couple hours away.Otherwise, I love the system.
Yard is fairly well organized. The good stuff goes quick though. Could really use a restroom though.
Came in at 4:00... there were maybe 3 people working, it was super busy, and the manager Craig was nowhere to be found. He always leaves early, leaving his team severely short staffed.
My only gripe about this business is similar to all the others gripes. The fact that you cannot reach the local facility. There many reasons for a need to do this:1) WHERE is it located? (I dont care if maps has it... Sometimes they are wrong)2) Are you open? (I dont care if the hours are posted.... Nor does mother nature or local holidays care)3) I have a problem and need help? (An automated system cant handle these concerns)4) I may be coming from a long distance and need help about the local store?I will say that I appreciate someone commenting on these reviews and hope they consider some of these very important reasons to have a local number.
I came to pull apart this morning looking for several parts for my 1993 Chevy Suburban. I had checked online & found several candidates. The yard was clean, no mud, & well organized. I paid my 2 dollar admission, got my wheel barrow & went to the location of the 1st vehicle. It had almost all the things I needed & the 2 nd vehicle had the rest. We returned to the check out area after cleaning up in the hand wash station, which was clean well supplied it had everything we needed. Check out was quick & easy the prices were quit resonable. I would rate this visit a 10 out of 10. Thank you for being here for us all.
How can you not love PaP? Prices are good, you find all kinds of neat extras if you look in trunks and glove compartments. I keep a couple older cars and a race bmw running with parts form here. If youre smart and know a few easy to pull parts to sell on eBay, you can have a net profit every visit and get your parts for free!
Would be nice if an employee could assist buyer in finding the row needed and could offer a lift to the auto getting part from for those who can not physically make the long walk. No one offered any kind of help to find exact auto needed to pull transmission from and did not offer us to be able to drive to it.
Den had what I was looking for. Price is reasonable. Excellent service.
A fair places for a fair price my favorite place
Clean facility. Friendly employees very helpful. I will definitely go back.
Seems like some better customer service is needed at self serve and entrance desk. Selection is great but if a paying customer comes in, its crucial for a friendly customer service environment to keep a fruitful business
NO personal contact on the phone. I get that they have an automated system, and their reasons for it, but there are multiple configurations of my vehicle out there, ad I am not going to waste my time and money on a trip to the yard to find that none of the vehicles in inventory are the right one. My truck is a less common configuration and it is hard to find the exact match.
I no the Yard in Lafayette la . Is a rip off just for a use tires the sine say $19.99 then when u go check out they tell u $37.00 . I dont know what kind of business ur running . I no I dont do business like that. And some of the parts I try to buy it way to hight I can go to the part house and buy it new way lower then buying it from pull parts.
Nice folks very helpful I got what I needed.
It a nice place but I left my phone and wallet on the check out counter and I know the one was checking me out saw I left it because no one was in line behind me I had 2 old 1 dollar bill and 3 old 2dollar bill and 2 new 2 dollar bills in it . When I got my wallet back it was gone but thanks to the one gave me my wallet back with my other personal things.
They deny people with disabilities access to their yard that is not right!!!!!
The rows where the cars located are very confusing.
If you understand how auto salvage yards work (instead of how you think they should work) you have to award them at least four stars.
The parts a person needs is usually there but I just wish you can actually talk to a person. Especially if you are going to pull a part from out of townYoure taking a chance your part may or may not be there. I havd seen the employees talking on the telephone. I wish they would talk to their customers. The customer service there really sucks. But the parts are worth what you pay for them. I bought a manual transmission there. In less than 30 days it locked up on me. I brought it back to exchange it. They had no more trucks like mine so I signed up to be notified when one arrives. It has been about a month ago and still nothing. When will it arrive so I can get a transmission? Im on foot this whole time
They are awesome. There used cars are great
They have golf carts you can rent now! Makes for a much better experience!
I have to echo the disappointment that many others have experienced here. I paid to go onto the lot after going out on a limb not knowing if what I needed was there. The information for the vehicles I was looking for were vague, so I just knew the make and models, no submodels, colors, drive, etc. I found both the vehicles in question, and even though one had supposedly been on the yard for less than 3 days, it was stripped to a shell of itself. Just about every vehicle I passed for that matter had all the same components removed altogether. Im near certain scrappers and re-sellers must roll through and take all the same bits, because nothing useful is ever left on a vehicle unless you perhaps make it the same day it comes on lot.To add insult to insult after finding nothing, over a half hour before close, I was approached by one of the staff who informed me it was near time to head back to the checkout, and after stating I wanted to make a quick run to the Classics section, then very rudely insisted my time was up and began mumbling curses as he walked away. The image going in was a lot better than going out, but I dont think Ill bother going back lest I can somehow catch a vehicle the day it comes in. And with the look some of the other patrons were giving me, Im pretty sure that even if I found what I needed first, I probably wouldnt leave with it.
Ive always used u auto pull it for a many of years n they always had what I needed n good prices to .. for car or truck parts .
Very nice employees and easy access to all vehicles
Its a professional and service friendly, self service auto salvage place
Its the best junk yard ive ever seen but its hot
Helper very good on time on top of there job.
I walked up into pull apart to sell my company truck to them and they did not except it because they thought it was stolen. I am a professional business owner. To have the manager of pull apart tell me that the truck Ive been owning for the last eight years is stolen, from a manager who has rotten teeth most probably from meth is revolting. Pull apart in Lafayette I cant even phathom. You no longer have my business.
9-22-15 @ 1:20pm Would highly recommend against coming to this facility as it is fraudulent!!! I needed an ac compressor bracket off a Honda cr-v. All 3 cr-v they had in Stock were blank shells with no salvageable parts left. I went complain about how I wanted my money back for wasting my time and the supervisor, that was using disgusting chewing tobacco at the time, got hostile with me. It got so bad I had to remind him if he put his hands on me that it would be considered assault. They then proceeded to threaten to call the police on me. I left with the supervisor making snide demeaning remarks to me while I left.
Cheap place to find car parts if you know enough about what you need done. Bring tools to get your parts.
Pull-A-Part is not Second Amendment friendly. Whats worse, is they are not following state law, by displaying a sign, at the front of the store. Their sign is all the way in the back, where you dont see it until after youve paid... and there are no refunds. Quite sneaky and not the type of establishment I want to pay money to.I will never recommend or visit an outlet that is not 2A friendly.
Very helpful in finding the wheel rim I needed!
Donβt let kids in under 16 that is dumb
The people are friendly and some of the technology can be very helpful such as text alerts and a kiosk to search inventory but the database is a pain and the phone support is by far the most aggravating and abysmally useless service I have ever used. It puts Cox customer service for worst company to shame
Love this place, mr troy helped me out alot, i have been there the last 4 straight weekends for different parts for my civic & buying a honda accord, we be back soon, scott
Man look I just wanna play hide and go seek in there or do a paintball war cause that place lit
OK where do I begin you canβt call Direct and talk to someone locally You know the car is there but Iβm not going to drive 45 minutes and walk around for 30 minutes and find out you donβt have a major part, hood or fender Seems like you have some out of there manning the phones and answering a simple question
Lots of cars to choose from! But watch out for the people at the counter they will rip you off by charging you right down to the screw. If you pulled a part; such as a sensor with fixed wires hanging out, they will charge you for the sensor and separately for the wire even tho they are the wires that are needed to hook up the thing. SAVAGE
Workers are kind and helpful. Plenty of cars to choose from.
I never even made it to the lot because the automotive Phone call is so frustrating. I was never able to speak to a human being even though thereβs nine options when you call.
I like the way this place is set up. It can use some improvements but overall you cant beat the prices if your willing to pull your own parts
Good
Your phone system SUCKS, couldnβt not even navigate it without it hanging up on me.
Helpful staff and a lot of defrent cars
I love pull a part!
