I am beyond impressed with this company. I gave my broken laptop to them at 11 AM, and by 4 PM that same day, it was fixed! Mike knew how critically important my computer is for my job and went above and beyond to make sure that it was promptly repaired. My laptop wouldnt charge properly and I took it in to Mr. Fix I.T. to see if the problem was repairable. Not only was he able to repair my laptop but it was done within a faster time frame than I was expecting. I am happy with the service. Mike is the best! We knew we had a Malware problem, which I hoped to fix through my Norton Security, but the computer just started to shut down on us. Our grandchildren use the laptop a lot more than we do. I mostly pay my bills online and search questions on what we call, Our Magic Box. So we went out one day this past week and we went to Best Buy and the Geek Squad. When we got there in Waldorf, driving up from LaPlata, we were told we would have to make an appointment. We would have had to wait around for over an hour to watch them figure out the problem with our laptop. So, using my phone, I googled computer repair in LaPlata. MR FIX I.T. came up and we gave him a call. He was more than happy to check out our laptop and we didnt have to make an appointment! We wanted to just drop it off, let the expert do his thing and give us a call. Mike was very patient with us and asked us the right questions for people who dont know much about technology. He gave us a call later in the day and told us that our hard drive crashed. He gave us all the options to buy a new hard drive and the prices. He ordered the new hard drive and repaired our laptop!!! It took a couple of days because of shipping, but when we went to pick it up, he spent the time to explain everything to us. When we left, we had no questions, but Mike told us to call him if we did. After upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 I encountered various issues with my ASUS AIO computer. The worst being the horrid Blue Screen, alias Blue Screen of Death (BSoD). I tried in vain to have the problems solved by two alleged software/security companies and finally Microsoft itself, all to now avail. The closest I got was at least having Windows 8 returned to my computer, thanks to MS. However, the Windows 8 version had several update errors and missing a critical Network Adapter file. My wife suggested I try out this local technician here in La Plata. Mike was very responsive, first patiently listening to my nightmare time with this computer and secondly, after some painstaking research was able was able to get the thing working again, loading all the missing adapter file and updates. Mike also ran an diagnostic program to ensure all areas of my system were working properly. End result: This is a lesson learned. For a small fee, Mike helped me more than anyone mentioned above and the computer is working just like new. I cant thank you enough Mike for helping me out on this exasperating problem. I will be passing his name on to all my friends having ANY computer issues as well as remain a dedicated customer.
