Our daughter attended Basic Steps for 3 years. Mrs. Joa and her staff are excellent educators! We were very happy with the level of knowledge our daughter attained and our expectations were exceeded every year. We are grateful for the experience our daughter had there.

My 3 year old daughter went here from winter quarter through spring quarter 2021 and she loved this place. She likes her teachers and the other kids she plays with. She always looks forward going to school every morning. Mrs Joa is really good communicating with kids and the parents. Will definitely come back here for fall quarter.

My son has been going there since Pre-K and I saw a lot of amazing growth each year since then. I am very satisfied with the educational plan and very thankful for all the teachers there especially during the pandemic..it was very hard for all but they were able to manage to open school which I am very thankful for. Lots of love from our family ❤️❤️❤️

The director and teacher Mrs. Joa is helpful, kind, and has a big heart. I’ve had both my daughter and son go through her school, let me just tell you they both ahead of their classes now. She has a variety of classes that you can enroll. From educational to extra curricular activities. I’ve had such a great experience I recommend this school to everyone.

My son has been going here for about 6 months. He loves it, and has been having so much fun! He was extremely shy, and now he is out going and learning so much. He has even started spelling a few words to me, and doing math. I love getting his artwork he makes every time he is at school too. The teacher sends emails to the parents keeping us included in what they are doing. She also posts pictures on facebook so we can see how much fun they are having. This preschool is amazing, and so are the teachers!

My daughter is 3 1/2 and has been attending Mrs Joas preschool for about 6 months. She is learning so much and just loves it! I would highly recommend this preschool.

Great school with very reasonable tuition I can find in town. My daughter learns so much at the preschool program and loves going there. The school also has various activities (i.e: piano, ballet, etc). We are very happy with everything, especially with their great teachers and Kany.

It is not a good place to learn English as a second language.As a teacher I do not recommend it because the method used rewards and punishment is not for kids anymore.Finally, to learn by heart and not to learn how to think is not acceptable either.My son didnt improve, on the contrary he got frustated because he didnt have so much knowledge, but he had difficult task to do which were not for his level. To resume, they didnt choose the right activities and method for him

My child has been attending Basic Steps Learning Preschool since Mid-Winter quarter of 2013, and I have to say, in such a short period of time; my child has improved tremendously, that he shares with me what he has learned. I have visited many preschools before I brought my child here to Basic Steps and this is by far the best Preschool. Its affordable, hours are flexible, teachers are great; and most of all I was impressed with the curriculum/lesson plans that Kany Joa uses for teaching, that there was no way I was going to pass it up. My child enjoys school so much, he cannot wait to go back the next day. I highly recommend Basic Steps Learning Preschool. My only regret is I did not find Basic Steps sooner.

My daughter started attending this pre-school in the Fall 2012. My daughter absolutely loves attending. She always has exciting new things to tell about what she has learned each day and she adores her teacher, Mrs. Joa. I, as a parent, appreciate the flexibility of the class offerings as well as the continued sharing of information from Mrs. Joa. She is very good at keeping you informed about what is happening each week as well as posting pictures on the website and taking the time to send them out to parents individually. Our experience has been a great one this far! ~

Our daughter has been going to Basic Steps learning since March 2013. From the first day that she has been there, it has been nothing but positive for our family. Our daughter is full of energy and it takes the right people to catch her attention. Ms. Kany and Ms. Rianne have had the influence upon our daughter that shows each day she is there. From the singing and art projects to the games they play. This is a very hands on experience that allows our daughter the interaction with other children her age that she needs to ease her transition into kindergarten. Not only do we get the artwork made by our daughter, we also have the opportunity to save pictures from the Facebook page for Basic Steps Learning. Wonderful school with amazing staff

My boys went to Basic steps for 2 years before they went to kindergarten. I really think that attending Basic Steps prepared my boys academically and socially for Kindergarten.

I wish there was an option for negative stars
