I’ve never felt so let down or betrayed. Just reading through some of Matt’s attempts to shoot down the negative reviews left by others gave me instant flashbacks of what working with him is like. A nightmare full of deflecting drama and lies. I lost track of how behind he was on my case after a few months. When I finally fired him, he refused to refund my retainer. This guy does not have an honest bone in his body.

I believe Matt is very good and I didnt feel as though he created drama between me and my ex just so that he could create more billable hours.

If you are looking for representation from someone who lies, cheats and has no integrity or ethical standards, Matt Purcell is your man. He plays dirty and will sink to the lowest of low levels. On one instance, Matt contacted me the morning before a response declaration was due and instructed me to submit fake documentation so that he could change our position and present a completely false argument to the courts. I was extremely uncomfortable doing so and it ended up backfiring, as I looked like a liar before the courts. I should not have been surprised-- Matt lied numerous times in court and said things that he knew to be untrue, which also backfired on me as he could not keep his lies straight and ended up contradicting himself time and time again. The declarations that he and his staff wrote on my behalf contradicted themselves so many times, it was embarrassing to go before the courts. He constantly encouraged me to file bogus and unsubstantiated contempt motions against my ex, which was nothing but a complete waste of my money, stress and time. He also billed me for a court appearance that never occurred and heavily padded each bill in general-- claiming that an excessive amount of phone calls, emails and court preparations that could not have possibly been necessary or taken place occurred. Purcell volunteered to write up the court findings/rulings, mutual documents and other agreements between parties every time. At first I thought this was great, but later discovered that this was just another one his ploys to rack up excess charges on my behalf and that ethically, the other party and their attorney should have shared in those responsibilities and costs. Be forewarned and dont walk, RUN away from Matt Purcell and Purcell Law.

Matt Purcell is amazing. I cant overstate what hes done for me and my children. He always has the childrens best interest. He is up front and honest. He doesnt over exaggerate like other lawyers have done. I found him because another well known lawyer was overbooked and recommended Purcell even though they had no affiliation with him. That said a lot.Hes worth every penny

I would give zero stars if it was an option. I called and left messages with Heather on 12/4/18 and 12/10/18 stating I was a prospective client and requesting a consultation. I have not heard back from their office. Maybe the individual I left messages with is on vacation or otherwise out of the office, but perhaps someone else could check her messages or answer the phone in her absence.

Purcell law is the only family law I will only use. Matt is the man!
