Had $12000 funneled out to this company with there promise to repair an older existing elevator. First the component needed a different board then the kill switch was always tripping. The same problem they were supposed to fix keeps on occuring. Im feed up. Going to BBB.

We had an elevator that was having issues and when we called in and were referred to Bart. We were set up with a service plan and the tech Ricky came out and fixed our elevator the next day. They also found a repair that needed to be done to keep the elevator safe! This gave us great reassurance.

We have several properties throughout Atlanta and Genesis services each one. The response time is always quick to any problem we have. I have used the corporate giants in the past and Genesis exceeds in quality of service, response time, friendly attitude, and the cost is much less. I cant say enough about this group. I would give them 10 stars.

I call Genesis Elevator to get my freight elevator up and running. You know how it is, you cant even be down for a day. Genesis came to my rescue and had me up and running in a matter of an hour or so. A big Thank You to the folks at Genesis for getting us back in business

My experience with the company is very limited, but I wish to speak for the salesperson, named Bo. He demonstrates a level of integrity and professionalism completely unmatched in business these days. I admire his character so much, I would trust him with my children.

After a little confusion getting started, the service was outstanding and our residential elevator is working like new. Technicians were friendly and COVID-safe, and billing/payment was a snap. Will definitely use again.

I’m very happy with the service I got from Bart and Ricky. Bart is very nice and provided very good customer service. Ricky is very knowledgeable about elevator engineering and honest. He fixed the elevator and did not try to sell unnecessary things. I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs elevator services performed.

We cannot be more disappointed and frustrated with their work and service. We had Genesis update our elevator to prevent future breakdowns. Not only was the job done late and very disorganized but we have had more breakdowns in the last year than we had for the prior 10 years. Multiple outages and multiple customers have gotten stuck in the elevator over the past year and it has hurt our business.

If I can give this place a negative 10 star I would.The manager Bart and his associate Karen are very unprofessional people to deal with.Both don’t know what they are doing, they wasted my entire month of December 2020 sending unprofessional technicians who don’t have any idea what they are doing, at least five times, let alone they have scammed me for $2,000 and my elevator is still not fixed.I am reporting this to BBB and were ever else I can report this company Genesis. I am a business owner also and you DO NOT treat your customers like that and the best of it all when Icalled 12/29/20 the manager bart says we do not need to do Buissness together . So far this has not been a good experience. They were hired to fix our in home elevator. The process started before covid. Of course during covid everything was to a grinding halt which was understandable.Once business started re-opening we started asking for updates. Which were generally ignored. I finally escalated to the owner who had his sales manager reach out to me. He told me the vendor they were getting the parts from lost our order or de-prioritized it. However they said they were getting two day shipping on the part and it should be there by the end of the week. We never heard back.I reached out the follow week and was told they should have the part the end of that week and we could start the following week.Of course that came and went and the following week, today, I sent yet another email asking for an update.We have constantly had to chase them for communication. We have paid thousands as a down payment and the project has been going on for over 6 months. We still dont have a working elevator.

Genesis installed an elevator in my new home. Their service team is professional, on-time, and skilled. They will take time to explain their work and answer any questions.

Bo and DJ are OUTSTANDING!!! I accidentally dropped my cell phone (my only phone) in my elevator shaft. I was preparing to head to the airport and cannot travel without a phone. I suffer from acute anaphylactic reactions and my phone is my lifeline. These two went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure my safety first, then ensured I was able to retrieve my phone. We love our Genesis home elevator. The installation and instruction went very smoothly. They are prompt and professional

This is not a reputable company. We had them do work many years ago which they could not complete. They then sent me a bill which was eight times more than the amount that I ended up paying for the work. It took a year to come to terms with them on a fair amount to pay. I was willing to pay for the technicians initial time. After we came to an agreement and I paid, they repeatedly sent me invoices for the balance due. This went on until I contacted the president of the company. A year later I once again received invoices for money due. Again, I had to contact the president of the company. Today I was called again on a collection matter and I had to tell the representative that I canceled their service years ago. There are other residential elevator companies in Atlanta which are far more reputable and how they do business.

I have always had a great experience working with Genesis Elevator. They are always helpful and willing to help me with my repairs in a timely manner.

My experience with Genesis Elevator has been all positive. Service, quality and service has been everything they said it would be.

They made adjustments and explained what they found and did. Very expert technician. And they allowed contract timing changes to accommodate my situation.

To my knowledge, Genesis is not yet contracted to work on our project, but none-the-less, Matt has been extremely helpful and thorough in providing the architect with code compliant information. Very pleased with his not even a customer yet service!! Thank you!!

So this is the company that answers when you push the Help button in an elevator youre stuck in. They dont identify their company when you call so you dont know if youre calling: 1. The building the elevator youre stuck in is located in. 2. The Fire Dept. 3. 911. They just hammer you with questions and dont let you explain your situation, then they leave you stuck in there for 45 minutes until someone else calls the Fire Dept, who ultimately rescued me. After calling them three times and getting little to no empathy or information, someone called after about 30 minutes and said theyd call the Fire Dept and check the elevator out later. Nice. Thats what you want to hear when youre stuck in an outside parking ramp elevator that about 5x5 square. Thanks. Someone else already called them. Dont ever count on these people to help you.

We are still waiting for our elevator to be inspected and therefore usable, even though we were promised this would be completed by the end of May. They have given us an excuse for every delay and all are attributed to their untimeliness or lack of attention to detail. We paid thousands of extra dollars over other elevator companies due to their excellent reputation. Our experience has been the opposite and we still dont have a usable elevator.Update: We passed State inspection last Friday after being delayed multiple times due to Genesis errors. However, the automatic gate that we ordered was not installed again due to Genesis error. The elevator got stuck 3 days after inspection and the installer tried to reschedule his appointment to fix it. He did end up coming and as of now, it is working. We now wait for our automatic gate and for the finishing work to be completed. I have gotten better results by dealing with the Vice President of Genesis directly.

I had a problem 2 times with the power supply and both times Bart was most helpful in taking my thru and that fixed the problem and saved me the cost of of a service call.

Genesis has been great to work with. I have had a service contract with them for several years, they are always quick to respond when I do have an issue and the preventative maintenance visits have kept needed repairs to a minimum.

Genesis Elevator technicians have always been very responsive and have answered all my questions.
