FIF Engineering was a pleasure to work with. He responded quickly, was professional, and reasonably priced. Our company used them for some emergency structural work at a commercial building in Texas. He was available, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He was always willing to take phone calls to help in any way possible. He prepared plans and documents ready for submittal to the city. Im happy to say that the city approved the plans after their first review - no revisions necessary! I will certainly use FIF Engineering again and recommend them to anyone in Texas.

FIF Engineering is one of the best contractors weve used over the years. Setting up an appointment was fast and he really provides a wealth of information regarding structural design. He answered all of our questions and even attended to any follow-up questions that I had after his visit. We would definitely recommend to others and are so glad to have found him online.

Was not happy with the quality of the work they provided. They did not do proper due diligence of understanding the joist layout. It took them way too long to provide a layout of the house. Redlines for drawings I sent them came back incorrect. When I called to get an understanding of their final layout, they did not seem to understand their own drawing and did not seem to understand the difference between a 2x4 and a 2x6. Due to the improper layouts provided, the beams ordered were twice as long as they needed to be. Aside from poor quality of the work, they seem to be fairly disorganized as I keep getting calls from them thinking Im a different project. My contractor has worked with them before and was not happy with their work for our project and I have worked with these guys before for a simple design and had little issues due to the simplicity of the project, but with this most recent project I had so many issues with them that I will not work with them in the future.

Bijay of FIF Engineering went the extra mile to help me when my contractor dropped the ball on some paperwork I had to have for my HOA in order to begin a renovation that was on a tight timeline. I called him first thing on a Friday morning and not only did he answer before 8 am, he booked an appointment to view the property and make an assessment before noon. It was a holiday weekend with all other offices closed on Monday, and he got me the paperwork I desperately needed on Sunday! He was helpful in making small revisions to the plans at no extra charge and even followed up a few weeks later to be sure I had everything I needed. Bijay is kind, punctual, an excellent communicator, and very knowledgeable. I will be using him exclusively for all of my structural engineering needs moving forward. Highly recommend!

I was in need of a structural engineer so I went through Home Advisor. Bj contracted me right away and we discussed my possible foundation issue. Bj is a true professional in every sense. He listened to my issue, carefully observed and thoroughly assessed the situation. He communicated in plain language and was not super technical.
