I have never had such an experience as with this. I had made an appointment for an employee drug screen. They not only tried to charge me for it but I had to back out to the car 3X because they didnt tell me the things I needed then I had to wait in line again. When I finally got in there the container they had me use was no bigger than a very small bottle. I say GOD BLESS ANEONE THAT HAS TO GO THERE
The wait time and the check in process here are horrible. I had to wait for half an hour even if I had an appointment scheduled. Never had such a terribly long wait in any other location before. Also, the lady at the front desk here is extremely rude and impolite.Luckily the technician who did the actual collection was very nice and professional.
Terribly disorganized, I would recommend doing anywhere else
Arianna was extremely rude and disgusting. Due disrespected me and told me to get out of the lobby that was supposed to only hold 4. We were came in at 2 and stayed. Other people came in and stayed and she blamed us for not reading the sign. We were messaged that our appointment was next amd my name didnt get called til after 4 people. The system messed up and we were blamed. I couldnt sit around due to a leg injury/tailbone and had to stand up with back against the wall. I am a disabled child and I tried to tell her about the predicament but she truly did not care. The manner she acted was highly unprofessional.
Very kind staff, line moves quickly
Very efficient, used the kiosk check-in and scanned my drivers license, the lab orders were set up in the system. Receptionist and phlebotomist very helpful. The waiting room space is small, some overflow will sit in the lobby. There is a text message service to alert you when your appointment is ready. Overall a very good and quick service on the Tuesday after a holiday week.
Lady at the front desk is extremely rude with no bedside manner at all. Biggest pet peeve of mine. If youre in a customer service position and dont know how to talk to people you shouldnt hold the job. Thats literally most of what your job is. So my fiance is here for a drug test with a full bladder and instead of getting her to the back they are making her stay in the crowded lobby to either one, risk going on herself b/c once again shes pregnant or two go to the restroom now and risk having to wait for lord knows how much longer. This place is extremely unprofessional.
The service is rude and unfriendly. I will not come to this location anymore.
There are okay . Everywhere has to wait , labCorp too. Need work on Staffs attitudes more please.
Don’t come to this location if you need to be in and out.
Drug screening just arbitrarily closes at 11am, makes no sense and this information cant be found anywhere... Ridiculous
Here is no any information about the prices when I called them they could not give me any audible information
I want to thank the lovely lady that took care of me today .. my drs office didn’t send the lab work order down to lab Corp. she was so pleasant and told me to go upstairs and she would take care of me.. she did! She made a really unpleasant situation .. pleasant .. so thank you!! You’re awesome and I’m glad your son got his license!
The lobby carpet was extremely old and looked very very dirty. The chairs were not cleaned after someone sat in them. The waiting area just looked very unkempt and dirty. I refused to sit in the lobby. The waiting area outside the office did not contain a pre-screen station for covid and I felt EXTREMELY nervous and uncomfortable to be around that many unscreened people!! While the staff was wonderful and the lady who did the procedure was very sweet and professional, the overall experience of this place in such crazy scary times is ridiculous. I will never recommend someone using that facility. I strongly recommend they add a pre-screen station. I believe this is CRITICALLY important before letting ANYONE in that building! And clean the waiting room on a very regular basis so that we know we can sit safely. I just cannot believe how unclean this place appears on the outside given our current worldly situations!!!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. AVOID at all costs. Front desk ladies are rude they will harass you at the front desk if you have a left over bill you did not know about. I mean in front of all the customers. The place is FILTHY there is dirt on the carpet everything is cramped together. There was no ability to social distance in this waiting room. The rooms were unsanitary I dont even know if the needles were clean. I wouldnt trust it. One of the workers ended up feeling up on my biceps and flirting at me in a way which I did not consent to.
Terrible company and the definition of surprise billing! My wifes doctor collected a blood sample and sent it to Labcorp. We did not have insurance at the time. When we got the bill we were floored. A few weeks later we had the exact same test done at half the cost from Any Lab Test Now. Also, it is impossible to reach a live person to discuss the billing. the 800 number is a dead end system with no availability to speak to someone. They are also very high pressure on paying the bill, threatening to put it on your credit, while again, making it nearly impossible to negotiate the cost.I would avoid using LabCorp if at all possible.
Horrible! Horrible!! Horrible! Rude front desk staff.
I had my second visit. First one was around lunch time, second one was in the am. Both time met with nothing but kindness. I was a walk in for both and felt like my wait was reasonable. The staff were professional and kind. ❤❤❤
Poorly managed. Even if you checkin and choose the “wait-in-car” option, they get you in and make you wait inside for a while with another 10 people(read no COVID protocols followed). The staff especially the person in reception are rude. Not coming back here!
Zero star at all! what a bad experience here, very unprofessional and extremely rude attitude!
Excellent experience yesterday 11/23/2020 at this Lab Corp. When I arrived around 1:30pm and checked in, there were 9 people ahead of me. With covid only 4 people are allowed in the waiting room at a time. There are comfortable seats in the lobby so that wasnt a problem. The phlebotomist would come into the lobby to bring the patient back. I had the joy of having a phlebotomist whos name was Coffee. She was so friendly, personable and very good at her job. The needle poke was painless (which they are usually uncomfortable) and upon checking today, no bruising! I would recommend this location for and lab needs. That saying I arrived around 1:30pm and was back to my vehicle just after 2pm, which is pretty quick!
I went to this location today for biometric screening appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, the lady at the desk informed me their BP machine wasnt working. I told her I wish they would have called and I could have rescheduled. She responded by letting me know I was 6 minutes late checking in. So if I would have checked in on time would that have changed the fact this place is operating without working BP machine. What type of medical facility is this?!? Just rude and unprofessional. My mom is a nurse and never shows up for a shift with a BP cuff and a stethoscope. Yet, this place has one non functioning BP machine for the entire medical office.
I had a pre-employment drug test appointment at 4. I hit bad traffic and rushed into the building at 4:07. The receptionist, Lynn, was loudly cackling with staff while I waited for a couple minutes, then she calls me to the desk. She said because I was late to my appointment that I couldn’t come in. She very indiscreetly said that drug tests can’t be done after 4. I didn’t argue, but I asked if I could reschedule and she said no then dismissed me. While I understand policies can be strict on punctuality, she handled this very poorly and rudely. I’m fortunate to have another location nearby I can go to tomorrow, but there is someone out there that missed a job opportunity because of her pettiness. Also, unsanitary check-in stations you must do by hand.
Two of the front desk ladies were so rude. The lady who took my blood scratched with the needle and it left a mark. I would definitely go to another one. Avoid this one at all costs.
2 HOUR Wait- Short staffed. Sign on door says 4 people allowed (covid) but 8 people standing in tiny cramped office, with half a dozen or more waiting in the lobby of the building. I signed in with the machine, waited over an hour for a text to tell me to come sign paperwork with receptionist. Then began the next line waiting for the tech to call me back. The tiny room was packed with people, the office building lobby was packed with grumbling people, and the wait continued outside the building in the parking area. Outdoors seemed safer to me, (covid) until I soon realized that I wasnt going to hear the tech call me back if I wasnt in the office.(the text was only to do paperwork, I asked) So I had no choice but to go stand inside the tiny office again. I hope no one in there was sick, because it was waaaay packed. If I can smell perfume and cologne, its possible to inhale covid. But, how else was I going to hear my name? Finally, after all that, I was called to the back, handed a cup and pointed to the dirty restroom. I was instructed to put my cup on the table with the other 6 filled cups and go. 3 minute test for a 2 hour wait. Seriously understaffed for so much business. There was a competitor 3 minutes from there I could have chosen. I feel like this was overconfidence on the part of the owner/manager. No one there was happy, and we are given a choice before the paperwork is sent. I didnt have a preference, but next time I know what to say.
Signed in online and waited for 30 minutes before I was told that my phone number didn’t go through, so had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time. The women at the front desk is very rude and acted like the whole thing was my fault with no apologies. The nurses aren’t bad though. Customer service just shouldn’t be the job for the lady in the front.
Second visit to this LabCorp location. The kiosks make for a quick sign in process and puts you in the que for your lab work. Both times a nice lady by the name of Coffee drew my blood. Not only was she efficient both times there was absolutely no bruising. I bruise easily so this is a testament to her skills. Would not hesitate to go back if further lab tests are needed.
If there was a 10 STAR rating on this site, this facility would receive it. I want to thank the entire staff at this facility for their excellent, professional, supportive, and most friendly professionals that I have ever experienced in the medical field laboratory services for over the past 60 years that I’ve experienced. I want to personally thank a young lady named ‘Coffee’ that handled my lab work. She was very friendly and excellent in explaining the procedures of the lab work process and was one of the most professional laboratory technicians that I have ever met. Thank you Coffee and the entire staff.I would like to highly recommend this facility to everyone. Thank You
Total incompetence, ran by lazy people who can’t read or listen
I had an excellent experience at this facility. The woman at the front desk, Lynn, was extremely helpful and patience, making sure everybody including myself was checked in and a timely and efficient manner. The woman who collected my sample, Tay, was thoroughly professional while still being engaging and fun! I highly recommend this facility, the staff were extremely thorough and walked me through every step of the sample collection with efficiency, courtesy, and a fantastic attitude.
The staff here were so great and efficient!
They have the wrong person at the front desk, her attitude is so unnecessary and she was being so rude to everyone who walked through that door for no reason.
I love the ladies at this location. I have to come here quite frequently. They know me by name. I never have a problem because I make an appointment every time. Check in is easy and quick. They get you right in(when you make an appointment). More people need to take advantage of technology and do this. They would be much happier and throw their attitude out to pasture. Because these girls are good. They never have a problem finding my itty bitty veins. They have never hurt me. Always polite.Mrs. Angie Mickle
I don’t know why this place has such bad ratings. I’ve been here at least twice now, and the employees here have been nothing but nice. They have an efficient system in place - sign in at the kiosk, and wait to be called. Wait times aren’t long at all. I’m glad this is the closest one to me. 😀
The lady in the front desk, is an EXTREMELY RUDE person, attended today morning and I must say she gives Lab Corp a bad name. I am not sure if management even consider these reviews or even gets noticed. I have noticed that others are having the same problem!
I only gave it one star because of the great nurse. The receptionist has a bad attitude and should never interact with clients in a service industry. Rude, haughty and extremely put off. Apparently the “machine” could care less after reading all the horrible reviews about this woman...
Ive been going here once a year for the last 3 or 4 years and have never had any issues. The folks have always been polite to me, but maybe its because Im not in a rush since I never have an appointment. Generally Im in and out within 30 to 45 minutes. The place could use a face-lift to make it look and feel like the new fancy hospitals and professional buildings, but I can tell you for certain that I have been in medical facilities around the world that are much worse than this place. Have to go for labs again this week, Ill post an update if things have changed for the worse.
Careless, unorganized. they mixed my wife results with mine. dont know how to fix it.
I have went to this lab several times and each time has been pleasant. I have not waited very long at all to get labs without appointment. You can make appointments so you dont have to wait. All staff that I have been in contact with have been very nice. This is my go to lab.
Please dont come to this location. they missed one of my tests that my doctor had ordered the first time. the important thing was it was time sensitive test. I had to come back 2 weeks later for that missed test. and still they were able to mess it up again by not doing what was ordered from my doctor. So now it is too late to get that test result correctly.
Apparently you can’t come in after 4pm and still be seen although this is not on their website or the message when you call. I drove 30 minutes one way to be turned away by an extremely rude receptionist!!
The hours of operation on the website and on the door said open at 7am. At 7:30am there were 16 people waiting to check in and the door was locked. An employee came in to work and asked if the door was locked... I am very dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism!!!
The lady up front is one of the rudest people I’ve had to deal with. I’ve been here twice so it isn’t someone having a bad day. I’ve sat here and listened to how she talked to this sweet old man. So at lest she is that way to everyone.
I have been there twice. First time I was in and out in less than five minutes. That was about 11:00am mid-week. Went at 7:25am this morning and was there a total of about 45 minutes. I believe it matters greatly what time you go. You can make an appointment, but it appears that the majority of their patients are walk-in. Considering the traffic they get, I think they do a great job.
I had a wonderful experience here, though I am not too fond of clinics. Diane M. took care of me, and she was awesome. She could tell I was nervous, so she did her best to make me feel comfortable. Much appreciated!
Excellent & quick service.
I have taken my wife to this LabCorp location several times. A few times I scheduled an appointment ahead of time, which was very easy to do on their online site, where I could also see the available slots which were open. This gave me an idea of how busy they were if the slots were all filled. My wife only has veins on one are that can be used and the nurse always uses the smaller butterfly needle which is a lot easier for people with smaller veins. The receptionist does seem busy and distracted at times, but she has never been rude or disrespectful in any way. The nurses have always been polite, and sometimes humorous. One of their kiosk has not work for sometime, but they have two. We never wait more than 30 minutes..usually only about 15 minutes. Merry CHRISTmas
Extremely rude lady at the front. Extremely rude staff. No way to treat a veteran just trying to accomplish an easy task. The lady up front has control issues and scoffed at me several times. I understand working under stress and busy times, but she needs maintain some level of professionalism and customer service.I was denied service for a specific reason, even though LABCORP was able to provide me the same service months ago, without the problem the lady at the front gave me. She needs to be evaluated for customer service. This a business, NOT THE DMV!I will NEVER go back. This was such a let down compared to my last visit, which was not even at this location. This location is on Kingsland Blvd, in Katy, Texas. My visit was at 8:30am. Beware! Grouchy ol’ lady working at the check-in window.
Brought in my wife as a walk in, we were in and out within 10 minutes. They have an electronic check in that scans your ID and insurance cards. Smoothest medical office Ive been in in years
I have had my labs performed here for over a year. Convenient location, the staff is very professional & they always get my blood stick on the first try! I make an appointment for blood labs and have never had to wait longer than 15 min. Even showing up 15-20 min earlier than appointment, sometimes they take you right away.
Horrible attitude, unprofessionalism and rudeness of receptionist taints the positive experience that the friendly nursing staff delivers. She was late to work causing a huge backup of awaiting petients. To make things worse myself and several other people who were waiting first were passed up for later arrivals. Go elsewhere
The lady sitting at the front desk is incredibly rude. Not only does she talk down to patients but she does it so loud every one can hear. Labcorp - she does not need to be in a role where she deals with the public.
The professionalism of this facility is absolutely horrible! After patiently waiting forever in the long exhausting waiting area. Three week later I discovered my lab work was never forward to my surgeon. It took two days for them to find my results. In addition, I notice the lack of professionalism with the staff when one of the phlebotomy techs has to take over the calling of patients to the back because the front desk clerks were busy disagreeing on how to properly call each patients name in the correct order. Really!
First time to visit this location. Front staff were rude, loud, and intentionally were shaming patients at the window claiming they had a previous balance to pay. Only when the corporate LabCorp got on the phone did they lower their voices. HIPAA is a serious issue that should not be violated, nor should lab techs be insisting on money with a needle in their hand.
I call to get info on cost, and both times, rude, sarcastic, lazy ladies answering the phones! I just wanted to know what their billing price is for my insurance to get out of pocket pricing! I wont tell you what to waste your time on but Im sure dealing with these people inst one of them! Ill go somewhere else where they treat people better! Geez!
Our 5 year old has been coming here for years. They are awesome with him, sweet and gentle!!!
The lady in the front desk is extremely rude and condescending. It is unbelievable how she talks down to patients. Horrendous place to have your blood drawn. This place feels like being at an awful DMV. Forget about it. Labcorp should get their stuff together.
Always timely with my appointment, friendly, courteous and excellent service. The phlebotomists are topnotch and the receptionist is Amazing!
Poor customer service
Time of visit was March 2018 at about 10:00 am.. After having read some of the unfavorable reviews I did not have positive expectations going in. However, my actual experience was quite good. You can set up a time and pre-register online. Once there you simply place your TDL face down in a scanner and answer a few questions on a touch screen. Then you are called back when they are ready, The lady at the front desk was polite and efficient. The phlebotomist was excellent, I hardly felt anything when she inserted the needle and there was no discomfort at all as she changed out the five tubes required for my test. I used to have to draw blood samples in a clinic where I worked and can tell from experience that her technique was quite skillful. I was in and out in under ten minutes.
Should have read the reviews before coming. The lady at the front desk is a miserable person who will attempt to make others as miserable as she is. If you have the option to go elsewhere!!!! If you dont mentally prepare yourself at least!!! Too bad these are the people working in a profession that is supposed to be caring for others! A shame!
The lady working at the front desk is a nightmare. I came to get blood work for my 1 year old daughter and it was packed. I tried to ask how long the wait time would be, so I could decide whether to make an appt for later or stay, and was actually yelled at. After coming back later, they tried to stick my daughter with a needle to draw blood for at least 5 minutes and were still unsuccessful. I was asked if I wanted them to try the other arm and decided not to risk it. The front desk lady also yelled at my son bc he went to the lobby and she had to reopen the door. People like this should not be working the public. I will never be returning to this location.
Horrible service. If you have an appointment or not, youll have a 1 hour wait. Very short staff. In addition, the phlebotomist had a poor choice in picking which vein to draw blood, thus puncturing both arms for blood. And the medical receptionist has an attitude with the patients, very unprofessional.
Ive gone to this lab twice for pre chemo labs to save me time so I dont have to wait several hours for my labs at infusion. Both times it said STAT. The first time I went the guy didnt send it stat, because apparently he doesnt know how to read. Sitting in infusion again and they still didnt get my labs - despite me pointing out it was stat when I went in. If you NEED your labs done right, this is NOT the place to go. Apparently they hire people who are all idiots.
I was served on a dirst in fisrt out order. Quite fast. Staff is not very warm nor friendly. They are not rude neither. They just do their job, call names in a very cold fashion, like they are all in a hurry without interest on communicating with people
Whats the point of having a phone number listed if it doesnt even work!? Got a busy tone every time I called, called a bunch of times. Their hours are listed NO where!! I had a glucouse test, which if anyone knows, you have to drink this nasty liquid then get blood drawn exactly an hour later. thank God I was diligent in figuring out their hours, which was a task in itself. Otherwise I would have drank this nasty stuff and wasted my time because they were out to lunch. Never coming back to this location. They need to get their act together.
Worst location to go to!
Have been here twice and both times they messed up the paperwork. Was supposed to take 2 tests (had appt and confirmation number) and they only had the kits for one of them. When I came back a second time for the test that they couldnt provide on the first visit, they had the information wrong again and couldnt figure out how to submit the information into the system. If you can go to a different location, I would advise it.... Unless you enjoy wasting your time.
Staff is clueless and location is always crowded. The staff in the front are unprofessional and borderline rude. Waste of time.
One star because I cannot give it a zero! Be prepared to wait and wait and wait; even with an appointment. Skip this place and go somewhere else.
The lab itself isnt bad. The receptionist is horrible. Ive had the misfortune of dealing with her incompetence on many occasions.
I have never in my life been treated so horribly by a fellow medical professional. As my mother sits here in a wheelchair, writhing in pain, this lady has the nerve to yell at her and I because she is not supposed to be the one who calls insurance companies to get a group number! My mothers doctor ordered her to come downstairs to have blood work done. All of the information is in their system, but because we did not have the new insurance card on hand this lady seems fit to throw a temper tantrum, including yelling at patients and slamming down clipboards.
Simple went in got the imaging and I was on the way out
Been there twice and had to wait a long time while staff is standing around watching something amusing on their cell phones when there was a huge waiting line. Second time I went to their office and they had closed early.
#1 The lady behind the counter is always rude. #2 They are not proatctive what so ever with patient documentation. #3 They have misplaced or lost my lab order twice. #4 the lobby is filled with self loathing and dispute as we have to sit and wait in this run down sack of garbage.
Sign says they close at 5 pm. I arrived at 4:50 pm after rushing across town to make it there before closing and the door was locked already. I tried calling them and the phone is off the hook; kept getting a busy signal.
Very clean, fast service and friendly
With no customer service skills I would rather go to the dump. Of course. they do not care they are all part time associates trying to make a living. Smile some times it takes less effort than a frown.
Rude and ignorant people.
I was on hold for 8 mins and when Rep. finally came to the phone she was rude.
I love it the customer service
Always very friendly. Front desk is staffed which is not seen with the competitors.
Again ; 4 weeks later we found out that the lab did not send the results to my wifes doctor.
Very rood receptionist
So late
